Luka leaned back, pulling Connor down on to the bed. She thought that perhaps she could get used to this jealousy thing.

Connor's heated, jealous energy found a satisfying outlet as he continued to kiss Luka, curling one hand into her hair while the other began to work at pulling her shirt off. That stupid vampire couldn't make her yell like he could, and Connor was determined to keep it that way.

As they lay there holding each other and both still trying to breath properly Luka decided that she could very, very easily get used to this jealousy thing. "Connor, after all of that hard work, I think I could use a shower...how bout you?"

Once Curtis was far enough away from the house and they were sure that the vampire was deep enough in sleep not to be disturbed, two small weres entered the tiny cabin. At first they were surprised to see the vampire curled up into a ball on a bed with half the curtians still open. They had been told she was part were which confused the hell out of them but they didn't argue. They were just there to get paid. They quickly covered her in a few blankets to be sure she didn't fry up on their watch and then carried her out of the cabin like a dead body and set her in a black coffin which they nailed shut and then loaded into a white van. They drove off back to the packleaders place.
Kat struggled for consiousness but the pull from the sun was too much. She only remembered being unconfortable and the odd feeling of something being wrong before she slid back into complete sleep.

"Shower... shower sounds good," Connor agreed in drowsy contentment. "Dunno how clean we'll actually get, though." He sat up and stretched, then scratched at his stomach with one hand while trying to pat his hair into place with the other.

The last two weeks had been fairly uneventful for Jonas. He spent most of the time hanging out in Auroras room. Now out of a job because of sudden demolishion of the building in which he stayed and worked. But after what his connections to a local were pack now run by a leader named Hanz, he was glad to be done working with them. Specially after what he heard they had done to his sister. If his boss had still been alive...Jonas would have killed him...He was too affraid to face his sister. He felt as if he had betrayed her, which he kind of did. Jonas couldn't come to terms with it, so he had been avoiding everyone and everything except Aurora. He hid away in her closet during the day and bugged her endlessly during the evenings. The effects of the drug he had been taking to be able to work about during the day in the sunlight was startin to were off. He had to tell Kat somehow but was pretty sure he wasn't welcome at their lovely little abode.
Now he stood behind Aurora, who was seated and working at her computer in her room, and was nervously taping the chair with one hand while figiting with a broken watch in the other.

At first it had seemed like a dream to have Jonas living in her room... but after a week of Jonas keeping her up every night her mental state had started to break down. She really wanted to be with him... to hug and kiss and talk endlessly of everything... it was the reason she hadn't stopped staying up yet... but it made her very irritable other times... like now."DAMMIT JONAS! Stop tapping the back of my chair I'm trying to focus on this essay long enough to finish it and actually get a good grade in class and you are RUINING MY FOCUS!" She finished the sentence by slamming her fist on the desk beside her laptop. When her hand pulled away she was surprised to find her pocketknife lodged into the desk.
"Oh... hehehehehe... sorry." She pulled it back out of the wood, adding it to the count of things she was going to have to fix before leaving, and slipped it back into the drawer.
"You really should find a videogame or something to entertain yourself with instead of constantly hanging off me all the time. I wish I had a bigger room, but I can't afford it yet. We just have to cope with the small space..." *twitch, twitch*

Jonas took a step back and took his hand off Auroras chair. He sighed and then threw himself up onto her bed. "Lemme know when you're done..." He mumbled and turned onto his side facing away from Aurora. He needed to do something productive soon or he was going to implode.

Luka shook her head and drug Connor to the bathroom. A long while late, two very wet, very satisfied bodies collapsed, entwined with each other on the bed and passed out.

Yakov ran to his sister's room and pounded furiously on the door. "Luka!"

Luka sat up groggily. If her brother hadn't sounded so terrified, she would have told him to go away. Instead, she got up, threw on clothes and covered Connor. She pulled the door open a crack. "What?"
"Luka, something's wrong with Jeff. He, he got hurt. I don't know...but something's wrong."
"Alright, go back to him, I'll be there in a second."

Yakov ran back up to Jeff. He sat on the bed and stoked his hair, not knowing what else to do.

Luka gave Connor a shove. "Up babe, we've got an emergency."

Jeff was vaguely aware of someone leaving and coming back to him. He felt something stroke his hair but all he could do was moan in agony and clutch at his chest.

Aurora turned around. "Don't make that face. I feel bad when you do that."
She stood up and walked over to the bed, putting her elbows and chin up on the edge.
"Jonas? C'mon. Look at me Jonas. I know we can come up with something."

Jonas rolled over and looked into the deep swirling pools that were her eyes. He sighed, he could never stay upset or even slightly miffed at her.
"I know...I guess I just...I feel useless..." He felt silly and stupid for having to admitt it to Aurora.

It was with a great deal of muttering that Connor threw on some clothes, patted down his hair yet again, and followed Luka to where Jeff and Yakov were.

Aurora looked gazed straight back.
"Useless? Aaaaw... You're not useless. You just need a new occupation." She reached forward and put her hand on the side of his face. "There's a lot you can do-- especially with your abilities. We just have to figure out what's right for you right now. Who knows? You might be the next batman!" She was teasing of course, but what she really wanted was to see Jonas smile again.

Jonas rolled his eyes and shook his head. He knew she was just trying to make him feel better but he just wasn't in the mood for it.
"I donno Aurora...I have no intentions of being any type of do-gooder. But I don't know what to do to go about finding a job. It's not like the local seven eleven has a sign welcoming vampires..."
