Shazbot_the_Pirate Would that be the infamous "The Internet is For Porn" done with WoW? Yes! That's the one. It cracks me up every time. (By the way, I'm reinstalling my MSN Messenger 7.5, as I seem to be having some technical issues with the Beta version. Confabulated contraption.)

Deimos, I had to do the same thing. Damn beta version would close on me everytime someone sent me a message. So I'm back to 7.5 for now, also.

Kitsune_Dakota Was there even anything overly different with beta version? There were a few new things you could do. For one, you can send people messages while they're offline, that get delivered to them next time they sign on. And you were able to send people messages while you're offline, and they can talk to you without everyone else knowing you're there. Which comes in handy at times. You were able to set up sharing folders with a contact that you could drag and drop stuff into like a normal folder, and when you connected to the net it would update with your contacts folder so that they stay synch'ed. There were more options when you right click on a contacts name too, but I forget exactly what they were. I think I remember being able to nickname contacts, but I'm not sure if that's a new feature or not. There might have been other things, but that's all I remember.

You can do some of that stuff with Yahoo messenger, like message people when your status is offline, message people who are offline and they'll get the message when they sign in, and nickname contacts.
