My band doesn't start until August 15, but I'm doing college band so it is a lot different. I play percussion and oboe, but mainly oboe. Percussion is a side sort of thing during marching season.

I used to play trombone but gave it up. I had no heart for it, and the kids making up the band (this was in Jr. High) were just too much of a hassle for me. After a while I asked myself, why the hell am I even here anymore? And left. Still have my trombone lying around in my room though, but blargh whatever.

I guess I was your average everyday beat-'em-up doll, all throughout my childhood. People always found a way to go out of their way to do something or say something terrible to me. neutral That is one major factor of my lack of self-confidence, or so I would say. Doesn't take long until what people say becomes engraved in your head. And it's really hard to reverse that kinda thing.

And I have one screwed up belief system, I don't think anyone quite understands or has the idealogy I have, thus I've found that sticking up for my beliefs as a difficult process and not really worth the time.
