Rellick pounced at her and smiled. "Come on! You have to have an idea how often you want to see me! I wouldn't want to visit you too often." He stopped and stretched, yawning. "Honestly though.. When would you like me to come see you?"

'I don't know, Rellick, really I... You should come whenever you fee-' She couldn't get the words out properly. She couldn't lie. She shook her head, her voice dropping. 'Every day.' She admitted. 'But I could never ask you to come over here every single day, Rellick. You'd have your own pride, and...'

"Why don't you go with him Brooke?"
Rackna had found his voice again, but he was still unhappy about losing his son, his little red shadow. He smiled sadly, ruffling Rell's hair before speaking again.
"I wish you the best of luck with your pride, my son."
He spoke, clearing his throat a few times afterward. Why had it been so hard to say that?
"No.. I'm fine."
Brazen attempted a weak smile, glad to see that Kerai was concerned about him.

'Go with him?' Brooke stared at the scarlet king with a look of genuine shock and surprise. She had never considered the possibility of such a thing. To go with Rellick? She did so want to go. The thought of it made her feel happy and bubbly inside. But it wasn't her decision. Perhaps Rellick wanted to go alone.

Rellick stared at his father in surprise. He glanced at his mother, then back to Rackna, hardly understanding what he was saying. 'It was alright? Good luck? Take Brooke?' He glanced at Brooke as she repeated the words Rackna had spoken. "Do.. You want to?"
Elli smiled at her mate, glad he had the strength to say the words she could not. She smiled at her son, and wished him the best, but also wished he wasn't leaving her so soon...

'Of course I do, Rellick!' Brooke caught her breath, feeling as though she might burst any moment from the bubblyness she felt inside. Of course she wanted to go. It had been an unnecessary question, but at least his asking let her know that it wasn't just to get away and be all alone with nobody else. She felt so... so... it was just too hard to describe.

Rellick grinned and laughed feeling like a large weight had been lifted from him. He danced about. "Great!" He grinned, and laughed, rubbing his face with a paw before glancing back at his parents.
Elli smiled and stepped forward, rubbing her cheek against his, and resting her head on her son's neck. "I will miss you, my scarlet son.. And I will think of you every day... I hope you will continue to come see us, even though Brooke will go with you...."
Rellick nodded, swallowing tears. "Yes mother... Always..."

Brooke felt light and airy as she grinned back at him, her previous next to forgotten. She couldn't find anything to say, and she doubted that she could have gotten them out even if she could. Leaving was going to be harder to do than it was to be said. She thought of leaving, and images of Elli, Brazen, Kerai, Jadera, and even the little white cub she had not officially met yet flashed into her head.

Briseis looked at Rackna, she didn't understand what they were talking about, "Where are they going?" she din't want to leave she was just curious on why they were leaving and to where they were going.
(:throws Adrastos in smile
Adrastos was hiding in the brush watching Briseis, they had met before when they were both roaming together for a home. They had gotten seperated in the desert though from a sand storm. His tail flickered as he soon pounced from the bushes right on top of her. He zoned out the adults that owned this territory.

The muscular scarlet king swallowed hard, his throat feeling as though it was being restricted by a Boa Constrictor. He nuzzled his mate, who also was on the edge of tears, but chuckled at Brooke's reaction.
"Go now. Watch for hyenas on the way."
The king warned to them before they set off.
Brazen nudged Briseis gently, a sad smile set firmly upon his face.
"That lion."
He pointed to Rellick, then to Brooke as he explained.
"Is leaving, and taking that lion with him. He is going to start a new pride. Understand?"
He asked calmly. Suddenly, as Adrastos jumped out fo the bushes, Brazen took as step back, his eyes wide from surprise.
"Who are you?"
Deka toddled over to his parents, where he sat on his rear, blinking up at Rellick.

Brooke felt rooted to the ground, even as she nodded. It was strange, considering the fact that only a few weeks ago, she would barely have cared. And now, she felt shaky and sad, despite the happiness that she was going with Rellick.

Rellick pulled away from Elli, turning to say farewell to his siblings, and caught sight of Deka. He grinned and crouched, nosing the little cub. "You're man of the Pride now.. Don't mind Brazen... He's just bossy." He gave a little wink.
Elli smiled and nosed her youngest son, rubbing her cheek against Rellick's. "Go now.. As your father said..."
He smiled and turned away, glancing back at Rackna. "Allies, Father?" He hoped that one day he could give Rackna a tour of his kingdom, and see his father was proud of it.
Elli turned to Brooke and nosed her. "Farewell Brooke.. And take care of him, won't you?"
Aritania appeared at her mother's side, blinking in confusion. "Rell.. Bye?" Her eyes filled with tears.
Jadera trailed after, her pale face marked with tear lines. "Farewell..."

Kerai looked up at Rellick, then Brooke. She looked at the ground, her ears going down.
Areli looked at lion to lion, but her eyes landed apon Rellick. "Good luck..." she murmured.

Rellick nosed Kerai. "Promise to come back and see you... Ok?"
He then turned to Areli, nosing the teen with a laugh. "Don't look so down Areli.. You know where my lands are, just beyond the hunting grounds where we last dined.. Come see me any time.
