~Reo
"I...." Reo was left with no further arguments, no reasons to question the validity of Flavio's statements. There was nothing but purity and truth in his voice. "Only if you think that I am ready..." He let his voice trail off. As far as he knew at the moment he'd make a horrible parent but the point did get across that they had outside help if necessary... This wasn't something they'd jump into right this very moment. Outside of the fact that they had guests in the house, Reo was in desperate need of alone time to think things over.

Flavio - CallieCallie linked her claws behind her back, clearing her throat a little. Things were starting to get quite personal and private. "I'll show myself out~" She said softly, speeding out of the room.
Flavio looked down a little, pressing his forehead against Reo's chest. "I think..." He began softly. "That neither of us are ready to raise a baby alone." He then looked up at the Blaziken, tears bubbling in the corners of his useless eyes. "But we're not alone. I... I really want this, Reo..."

Gently taking a claw and wiping a single tear from Flavio's cheek, Reo spoke with a suddenly more sure tone than all that he had previously said during this conversation. "I'm sorry for even having a moment of doubt. I'd be nothing without you and I'm more than willing to share in your wants."

"That sounds like a good idea..." Reo noted before returning the kiss presented to him hoping it would be enough to quench his love's tears, unsure by this point if they were out of joy or he himself did something wrong. "Until then I think I'm gonna' take a nap. Helluv' a job to partake in the slaughter of the public enemy of the century." He continued, taking a little too much pride in participating in the death of Nico. Taking one last glance over the entirety of the room before him he proceeded to head for the door still embracing his love.

((MINERVA'S ON A LUNCH BREAK *locks the door*)) Epitaph -- VerVer sat within Solaris' office, watching the far larger Flareon before him pace about uneasily. He didn't say why he had to talk to her, but Epitaph was very keen to these minor changes in behavior. She knew something was wrong, and that it involved her. Epitaph had her guesses, but she didn't rush the other Flareon either. Ver motioned his attention downwards, not bothering to look at Solaris. It was awkward and he probably felt the same. Thankfully, Epitaph was very passive. The office wouldn't go up in flames; so he hoped. Images of the Glaceon flashed in the black and white canine's mind, wondering if he should really tell Epitaph what happened. Sai was always very small and frail. He shouldn't have let her gone, but if he knew they were fighting something like that-- and a Fire type of all things, he would have made Alice stay as well just to make sure Sai couldn't chase after him. She always wanted her way, but she was normally smart about things to. "Epitaph..." Ver's address flowed off of a sigh, making the large Flareon pause in her pace and look at him in silence. He knew she turned to him despite her silence and it kept him staring at the ground. Solaris' existence was overall ignored in order to keep Ver's mind on track and not on whatever he was possibly thinking as well. "We had a last minute call to help out the tribe. Something attacked them, a God of sorts..." His voice faded out as he finally looked at Solaris with a rather unsure expression. He honestly had no idea what that thing was, having not heard Silvertail's explanation prior. He looked away from the Espeon again, catching Epitaph staring at him out of the corner of his eye. It made him cringe slightly. "We took care of it but at a cost." Epitaph seemed to calm slightly, thinking this sudden approach was more so requesting the guilds help. She wasn't sure why either of them, namely Ver would approach her about it, but it was probably just denial from a larger problem lurking in her mind. Ver finally looked at the other Flareon, making Epitaph's ears twitch. "Yes?" "Sai wanted to come along for it and... well... She didn't make it back..." Ver's ears dropped against his head. Epitaph, on the other hand, remained entirely still, still staring at Ver with a blank expression as if the statement didn't exactly connect yet. "I wouldn't have let her gone if I knew what we were fighting, really. It was so chaotic though. My attention left her, she was hiding the entire time, I expected her to be fine. Alice was keeping an eye on her too but..." "I assume everyone else is alright?" "Y-yeah." "That's good..." Ver blinked. Epitaph still stood there, staring at him with that blank expression. He wondered for a moment if she was really even looking at him anymore. "I'm sorry Epitaph-- I don't know what to say." Epitaph shook her head slightly. She didn't expect him to really say much of anything besides that. "No, no, it's fine... You can go, Ver." Ver's attention motioned to Solaris, not looking back at the other Flareon. He eyed the door briefly before standing and making his way out in silence. He wasn't sure what else to do.
With Ver gone, Epitaph gave an exhausted sigh and sat down. Her ears motioned downwards though just barely and her once seemingly perfect posture left her in favor of slouching forward and staring at the ground. She didn't look upset, for say. Just exhausted and almost out of place as if she hadn't figured out how to respond to the report yet. She said nothing to Solaris, though his presence was noted. "32 years old and I feel as if I'm too old for this..." The words barely lingered off of a breath, her attention never leaving the ground.

Solaris
He wanted to say something, anything, but no words came to his mind and even if they had his throat had tightened to the point of near suffocation. He couldn't breath properly, overwhelmed with this thick ball of sadness that had formed in his chest. It hurt, Arceus it hurt, to watch her. There was nothing he could do or say to make such a pain go away. No amount of consoling would replace the missing daughter she was mourning for. Solaris didn't move, he couldn't. His paws felt so heavy but he had to do something, as insignificant as it would be, he had to try. The Espeon stepped forward, slowly so as not to alarm her, and sat directly in front of the Flareon. There was hesitation for a few seconds, Solaris trying to overcome his already shattered nerves, before the guildmaster gingerly leaned forward and pushed his muzzle against hers in a light nuzzle. It was a small gesture, but it was all he could think of at the moment that wouldn't seem overly smothering. "We're born too old for this." Solaris stated quietly, the words almost a whisper. He couldn't force out the 'I'm sorry' that lingered in the back of his mind. I'm sorry were two of the most useless words in existence. They never fixed anything, they only reminded you that the world was cruel.

EpitaphEpitaph remained where she sat in silence, her ears not responding to the Espeon's slight movements as keeping composure took priority though with Ver gone, nothing was exactly holding her back. The Flareon cringed silently as Solaris finally nudged her, leading to Epitaph quietly babbling in an incoherent manner before promptly bursting into tears and burring her face Solaris' shoulder. It wasn't fair, but as time went on you found it more and more expecting; it was supposed to be that way. Not that it kept Epitaph from mentally arguing against it. Sai was her last child and the Glaceon seemed to hate her so much. Epitaph never exactly even knew why, but she never had a chance to fix it either. Now she regret it.
Her crying grew quieter though only slightly. It was the first sign of her recollecting herself regardless. There was no use crying over it but she cried every time anyway. Solaris was comforting, she felt it okay to cry. Epitaph was thankful for someone like that, she just couldn't bring herself to say anything until she quieted down, which, slowly but surely progressed.((Saying anything didn't click, feel free to pull her out of it.))

Solaris The Espeon closed his eyes as the door clicked closed, relieved that Ver was gone but also wishing the male Flareon had stayed if ononly because he seemed to be the most controlled of the three present, given the circumstances. Solaris visible flinched at the first sign of real grief. Epitaph was usually so composed, but at this point it was to be expected. She'd lost her only child, the last remnant of her old life. Sai had never been the most pleasant of Pokemon, she'd never been unbearable but Solaris felt some resentment to the fallen Glaceon over the Flareon now sobbing into his pelt. 'You couldn't have lied to her, Sai? At least pretended you cared about your mother?' Sure, Sai probably did care, but her actions stated otherwise. He'd heard of their previous fight and now...now there was no hope for ammends to be made. He felt useless, the warm tears dampening his fur only added to the suddenly wave of guilt that flooded every sense. If only he'd been faster. If only he'd realized Sai was there. He could have stopped it. Could have saved her. The sobs turned into barely constrained hysterics to a muffled whimper and Solaris, finally, opened his eyes. He dipped his muzzle down next to Epitaph's face, nudging her until she was forced to lift her head and acknowledge him. Both their lavender-colored eyes locked on eachother, Solaris wanted to say something comforting now that he'd gotten her attention. No words came to mind. They usually never did with Solaris. He wasn't the...best...with choosing words. Then again, his eyes blinked in surprise at the thought, were words necessary? No. He decided. They were not. Steeling himself the Psychic leaned forward, the tip of his nose pressed lightly against the Flareon before hims before finally their lips made contact for the briefest second. One of two things would probably occur next. She'd be pissed and Solaris woud find himself charbroiled or...well...any other option was favored over that.

EpitaphThe Flareon's mind clouded in her thoughts, aware of the Espeon before her but not exactly paying any mind toward what he was thinking or doing. Her sobs soon settled into whisperous whines as if troubled and her eyes remained closed until Solaris nudged her head upwards. She didn't respond at first, expecting an 'everything will be fine' sort of line that's been thrown about oh so frequently. Needless to say, what actually happened left the Flareon wide eyed and unsure of how to react. Was that an accident? No, it couldn't have been. She remained entirely still, no rejecting her friend in favor of trying to register the situation. It didn't seem wrong for say but it seemed off, and Epitaph grew uncomfortable. Her eyes quickly derailed elsewhere as she leaned back slightly, distancing herself from Solaris. Why did he do that? Or more specifically, why now. An unsteady breath escaped the Flareon as she quickly stood and gave a frantic look around the office. She already started one reaction, she'd might as well go through with it and not allow second thoughts. Epitaph's eyes grew teary in her confusion before finally shaking her head and motioning away from the Espeon. "Excuse me." Her words were quick and simple, nothing more than that but she still had trouble keeping her voice steady as she quickly paced for, and out the doorway. To where, she didn't know. Not yet. She just had to be somewhere else.

Erinn A rather tired looking Paras headed toward the door of the office, seeming more exhausted than any Guild member should be, current circumstances considered. Erinn's planned short walk to relax had turned into playing tour guide for a very eager Furret who was still nearby now. They hadn't gone by that many places, but the Bug Type had tried his best to answer any questions he was asked as well as explaining some things that non-Guild members wouldn't know about places they chanced to pass by on their way here. Now though, this trip was finally coming to a close and Erinn was more than a little relieved at that. It wasn't so much that he was afraid of Don anymore, although some tentativeness still lingered, but that the Furret's excitement was a bit too much for the timid Paras. There was only so much excitement Erinn could handle, even from his Teammates who he'd been living with for quite some time now. Thus, it was trying for the Bug Type to deal with the amount of exciteability that his companion had, but he had been putting up with it rather well to this point.
Now that they were finally at the initial object of Don's interest, Erinn found himself at a loss for what to do. True he knew that this was the Guild Master's Office, but he'd never actually been in there before. It was intimidating to actually approach the Guild Master, especially just him, an unimportant member of a Rescue Team. Just the thought of approaching it made him nervous, but it was that or disappoint his companion. He looked over to Don with a hesitant smile. "W-Well... This is it," he said warily, "This is where our Guild Master works. The, ah, Royal Family lives nearby h-here too." He looked left and right, at once hoping and dreading that some higher-ranked member would come along and spot him here. "W-We should probably check to see if a-anyone's there right now before just w-wandering in," the Paras said, scuttling up to the door and closing his eyes as he raised a claw and knocked a few times before all but cringing away from it.

 Don
Don walked alongside Erinn and the two, together, painted the perfect picture of contrast. While Erinn may have been rather tired and exhausted, Don was quite the opposite. He was still perfectly peppy and happy in all regards and by all accounts was just as full of energy then as he was when the whole trip around the palace had started. The questions had come in an almost unending stream on everything from simple questions like "what's over there" to more complex ones about the architecture and history. Some were quite easy to answer, others weren't. When they had reached the Crystal Chamber, the Furret was absolutely entranced by the room. It was beautiful to him, that much was clear. It made sense, though... Furrets were often known for being attracted to shiny things. When the pair arrived at the door, Don waited about a second after the knock and (no doubt much to Erinn's horror) walked up to the door and pushed it open while calling inside. "Heyyy. Anyone home~?" Don stuck his head inside and glanced around before pushing the door the rest of the way open. "No one's home." Don walked right into the office and began to look around as he took the details of the room in. "So this is where he lives and works, huh? Spiffy."

Erinn Erinn's jaw dropped as his Furret companion had the audacity to open the door without even giving anyone who might have been there more than a moment's notice. "Y-You can't do that!" the Paras squeaked in dismay, watching absolutely mortified as Don walked right in as though he owned the place. Glancing to either side of the hall, Erinn winced and said a silent apology for the offense that he was committing before hurrying in after the Furret in hopes that he could dissuade the Normal Type from his sudden intrusion.
It was rather exciting to see the place that the Guildmaster stayed, on that Erinn would agree. In any other situation the Paras would have been delighted to see this place, but right now it felt like breaking and entering. They weren't allowed in here, and he got the sinking feeling that they'd be found here and someone would get the wrong impression. "Y-Yep, this is the place," Erinn said with a shaky laugh, "B-but we probably shouldn't be here without permission... W-Wouldn't want anyone to g-get the wrong impression. I-I don't th-think we should be in h-here... The Paras tapped his claws together nervously, looking about from place as if expecting some higher-up to jump out of nowhere and start scolding them at any moment.

 Don
"Nawww, it'll be fine." Don waved a hand absentmindedly to dismiss the idea. "There's no one here and even if someone shows up we just gotta tell 'em the truth, right?" After a few quick turns as he glanced around the room, Don eventually settled his gaze on a large bookshelf off to the side of the room. "Nice bookshelf. Wonder what's on it?" Without so much as a second thought, he walked over to the bookshelf and started climbing up it carefully using his limber body and effective claws to pull himself up shelf after shelf. Luckily enough, the bookshelf was fairly deep and well weighted so that Don couldn't accidentally pull it over as he climbed. "I wonder how he gets books down from here?" The Furret blew a small bit of air at one of the books, causing a cloud of dust to puff outwards and a sneeze to come from his sensitive nose. "Doesn't look like he's used any of them in a while though." Don's back feet came up until all four legs were on the same shelf. In one quick, sudden motion he jumped off the shelf and landed carefully a few feet away. The shelf behind him rocked and shifted back and forth for a moment before settling down and just barely missing what seemed to be an imminent fall. Don moved about the room, giving various comments and benign observations as he went. From the chair in front of the desk to the desk itself, onto the bed and then into the nearby washroom. "Man, this is one nice chair. His desk is sweet, too. This wood is awesome. His bed's so comfy. Maaan, his bathroom's awesome. I'd love a bathroom like this." It wasn't even a minute before he had gone through the entire office and looked at everything here or there. It didn't take him long to come back to Erinn. "Alright. Let's get going before we get into trouble, okay?" He did say with a broad grin.

Erinn The longer he remained in the office with Don, the more nervous the Paras became. The change was amusingly visual if one paid Erinn any attention; his breathing became more rapid and his brow furrowed into a worried crease, even as he began to wring his claws almost as if they were hands while he watched the Furret wander around. They were not supposed to be here. No matter what his smooth-talking companion might say otherwise, Erinn felt a twisting sensation in his stomach that told him he was doing something very very wrong. Sure no one was here, but that made it trespassing, right? Trespassing on a Guildmaster's home, oh Arceus if anyone ever found out! The Bug Type's panic began to set in even more as his eyes followed Don's path here and there about the room, commenting aloud about the strangest of things; Erinn rocked back and forth on his legs, mouth tightly shut and eyes wide and staring as the Furret nearly knocked over the bookshelf, feeling rather faint. Solaris or Minerva was going to come in and find them, he just knew it. If that happened he'd have so much explaining to do, this didn't look good by any stretch of the imagination. Why did I ever agree to this!? the Paras thought desperately, his prior good feelings all but gone thanks to this sudden and unexpected side trip.
All of this panic attack took place in the minute that Don had traversed the place, though the seconds making up that minute had felt more like minutes themselves to Erinn. When his companion grinned at him and stated that they should go, the Paras could have keeled over with relief. "G-Good idea..." he said, a bit too fast for his nervousness not to be shown (as if it wasn't obvious enough). He all but ran ahead of the Furret to get out of there, and released a breath that he'd been holding for an almost painful amount of time. "T-Too bad no one was there," Erinn said with a nervous laugh, "I-I-I could have i-introduced you..." Clearly he was just relieved to have gotten out of there. "D-Did you want to see a-anything else?" he said tentatively, silently hoping that, if there was, it wouldn't involve any more unwarranted ventures into private places.((I saw the announcement but I figured that this didn't count, all things considered.))
