 Leo watched Rowain happily and shook his head as he sat on a stool, "to be free-" he sighed and his smile widened, "it's a wonderous thing, no? will you start wearing men's clothing now?" he asked, wondering if Rowain would be able to handle it or if he would need time to adjust. Leo himself wondered what he would do and felt that though he longer to be able to wear the boyish clothes of his youth, he still would have a hear time wearing them after all this time. "I think i have come up with a name" he announced out of the blue. "I was thinking maybe Eva, Eva Skye. what do you think?" he looked at Rowain, "it's apretty name and my dark hair and eyes are like the evening sky so that could be the basis of the name"

Rowan smiled softly. "I'll have to ask Lewis if he would mind his girlfriend becoming his boyfriend. For now, I am content knowing that I am a free wo-....man!" Rowan twirled around the room. "I can say it now! I can say it openly! I'm a man! I'm a boy! I'm a male!" Rowan smiled and couldn't stop himself. He leapt about the room and twirled on his feet, looking like a trained dancer. Cade applauded the male's dance and Rowan bowed. "Thank you so much, all of you. You have no idea how much this means to me, honest." Cade kissed Rowan's forehead. "You'll always be my little Rosemary." Rowan smiled sheepishly. "I'd let you call me anything you wanted." Cade rustled her curls and went into the back room.
Rowan sank down onto a stool beside Leo and smiled. "I think Eva Skye would be beautiful. It fits you. Eye for-eva on the Skye." Rowan giggled at his play on the words. He took Leo's hand in his and smiled. "I owe you the greatest thanks. Thank you for being born, thank you for suffering, thank you for striving to survive, thank you for your beauty, thank you for your gifts, thank you for your gentle heart, and thank you for saving Lucian. Thank you for everything."

Leo blushed and looked down, "I-You are welcome, my friend." he said softly and kissed the other's cheek, "though not many of those were by choice i am glad that i was here and that i was able to help you so explicitly." he gently withdrew his hand and stood up, "forgive me, i think i used too much energy earlier. if it is alright with you i will retire for now" he bowed low and walked up the stairs to their room. he sat by the window and looked out over the city, smiling softly. "I'm so happy for you Rowan-" dispite his smile tears slid down his cheeks and for a moment he ached to free all of the benteins. all the boys who had suffered such pain and humliation forced to live as someone else's play thing. he wanted to see them smile and dance for joy, wanted the men who had so horridly abused them to be punished. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, steadying himself and reminding himself that doing such a thing would be all but impossible

Mama called Rowan into the kitchen to speak quickly to him. After the conversation, Rowan went upstairs to bathe. Cade spoke to Mama as well about a few things. Mama smiled and gave her best answers. "Child, if there is but one thing I've learned is that you miracles come in all shapes, sizes, and wrappers. You don't look at a gift such as this as a draw back, you see it as a whole new opportunity. Now that Rowan is "alive", she'll be more willing to go outside and run errands. Costs will go down because she'll go get deliveries instead of having to have them brought here. And with Lily here, Rowan will always have someone to lean on." Cade looked at the ceiling and smiled. "Is it just some random thing that she cured me of my sickness?" Mama clicked her tongue. "Naye, child. Those dances Rowan would do on stage weren't just jigs, they were old ritualistic dances that invokes the spirits to come back and join us for a night. Those dances kept ye alive because the spirits were happy and happy spirits promote life, not death." Cade smiled softly. "You and your mumbo jumbo Mama Cleo." Mama smiled and gave Cade a playful slap o the arm. "Go get ye self into bed!" Cade laughed and scurried from the kitchen, smile on his face.

Leo stared out into the darkening night for a long time before he heard Rowan coming up the stairs and going into the bathroom. he sighed and stood up, straching a little as he headed to get some night clothes. he put on a simple shift and shrugged, the nights were warm enough for him to only wear that. he looked toward the castle and smiled slightly, "three days, huh? well-maybe." he shrugged, "I've waited much longer than just three days for someone like you, my prince."

Rowan came into the room wrapped in a towel and playing with his curls. "Ready for bed? Tomorrow is gonna be a big day I can feel it." Rowan grabbed his nightgown and stared at it. He bit his lip, debating to whether or not he should put it on. It was a short debate as he pulled it on over his head.
He leapt onto the bed and smiled. "Come on Leo, lets get some shut eye!" He wiggled under the covers and clutched his pillow.

Leo smiled and joined Rowain in bed, "I wonder if i should start sleeping elsewhere, it might not be prudent for me to be sleeping with a man." he teased as he curled up and looked at Rowan. "but i'm sure my Lord will not mind," he winked and closed his eyes. "good night Rowan, sleep well."

Rowan smiled. "I think I can keep my hands to myself for just a few nights more." Rowan pulled the blankets tighter around their bodies and yawned. "G'night Leo." He closed his eyes and drifted off.
The next morning, Rowan rose with the sun. He tucked the blanket back in around Leo and opened the window a crack. The cool breeze swept in and made Rowan shiver. He quickly went to his armoire and pulled out his outfit for the day. He selected an pair of faded sea foam pants that stopped in the middle of his calves, a light blue tank top, and a white shirt that fell off both his shoulders. He glanced in the mirror and smiled. "My first day in pants during work." He played with his curls, loosening them and making them bounce freely again. "I just have to wait it out for one whole day to see if I can make it." Rowan slipped on some simple flat shoes and stepped downstairs.
Rowan met Mama Cleo in the kitchen with a smile. "Morn' Mama. What are we crafting this beautiful day?" Mama chuckled. "Cinnamon muffins." Rowan smiled. "My favorite!" Mama nodded. "In honor of your great achievements. Ye mail carrier should be through soon with the mail and the decree that you're transaction went through. Maybe he'll have word from ye Prince." Rowan smiled and went to the cabinets to get the ingredients. "I owe it all to Lily and her beauty."

Leo woke a little while later and was shocked he'd slept so long. he pushed himself up out of bed and stretched, yawning before he got up for the day. he remade the bed and dressed in another long flowing dress, but this one's sleeves had two straps that went over the round of the shoulder, leaving the arms and rest of the shoulders bare. it was dark green, to compliment his hair and eyes and he studied himself for a long moment. "guess i'll have to get used to it-" he said softly before heading down to the kitchen, apron in hand. "Good morning, i'm sorry i slept so late!" he said, bowing as he walked in, "what can i do to help?"

Rowan had his hair pulled back and held up with silver pins and his apron was covered in flour. He twirled past Leo with a tray of dough to go into the oven. Mama Cleo waved her hand. "Here, child. Come cut these strawberries for ye Mama. These old hands have such trouble grasping the blades. Cade went down to the market to haggle for some new spices. The mail boy will be here in a few hours with any letters, bills, and the transaction notice." Rowan skipped back into the room and smiled. "It's Saturday Mama! It's dance night! Should I get a stew brewing for the night men?" Mama nodded. "Get the broth going, Cade has to come back with the meat. I'll go check the ales." Mama waddled to the side of the room and slide a rug aside. She grunted and lifted a huge trap door and climbed down the ladder. Rowan shivered. "Always so cold down there." He smiled and went over to the counter to start braiding up dough to make twists. "If there's any left over, I'll make us some cinnamon rolls for breakfast." Rowan quickly braided some loaves down then brushed them with a shiny, yellow oil before dusting them with seasonings and carting them to another oven.

Leo braided his hair back and got to work cutting the strawberries as he'd been shown the day before. he made quick work of it, surprisingly efficient with a blade. when he finished with the strawberries he went on to the next task, smiling and humming softly as he worked. "when do you think Cade will be back?" he asked Rowan as they moved through the kitchen easily, almost as if they were dancing

(( stare sorry i was gone...school decided to try and assassinate me and then i wasn't sleeping and didn't feel good -waves away thoughts- you know how that works stressed ))
Rowan shrugged. "Cade hasn't gone to market in a while. He's bound to be shocked at how much its grown, whats changed, and how few good vendors there are." Rowan giggled and began to heat a pot of water with mixed vegetables in it. "But Cade's size and poise will get him through everything fairly easily. He should be home before the mail boy unless the mail boy has a lot of stuff for us. He only comes early if there's a lot of things for us or a package." Rowan leaned into the pot and inhaled the scent. He smiled and sprinkled some powder into it before placing a lid on. "I'll get the rest ready later. Now I have to go make some of those chocolate treats that Cade for a recipe for. He calls them milliefeuilles or a thousand sheet cakes. Their really good, but they won't be ready until midday! Go figure, a thousand layers!" Rowan chuckled and began work on the rectangular cake's batter. "And when you're done with the strawberries, rinse 'em and place them in a bowl. You can start the muffin mix. Recipe's on the counter." Rowan checked his own recipe and sighed with a smile.
Cade came home a little bit under a hour later. Rowan was ringing up a customer in the front as Cade slipped in the back to put things away. He looked at the counter were a single cinnamon roll rested. "Guess you guys had breakfast without me?" Cade smiled and picked up the cinnamon roll. He inhaled the scent then took a bite of it. He sighed and swallowed down the warm, goodness. He looked over at Leo and shook his head. "You're fiance has caused quite and uproar in the city you know. After he freed that girl from jail and pardoned her, he announced his plan to form a harem. His mother fainted in court and his father turned so red that he almost had a heart attack, but Lucian used his quick tongue to cover his arse. He said that it would guarantee him an heir, plenty of them, and his dad had no room to pout. The princess of course threw a fit, claiming she was the only one who had that right, but Lucian wrapped his arms around Rowan's sister's shoulders and told the princess that he'd rather sleep with a cactus than curl up with the princess." Cade chuckled and bit into the roll again. "That is one crafty man."

((indeed i do, glad you are ok though)) Leo was helping in the front but he paused to listen to Cade's tale. he smiled and looked down, holding the ray in his hands close to his chest. "I am glad that he was able to work things out. he is a smart man." he said softly and bowed to Cade. "thank you for telling me, i need to get back to work though." he went back to serving tables, and though he did his work flawlessly, his mind was far away in a castle along with a prince and young girl who's life he'd just saved. he wondered what Lucian was doing now, what Rowain's sister was thinking to suddenly be saved but only to be put into the prince's heram at the same time. was she scared? he was sure that Lucian had explained to her, and he was a kind man, surely she would see that and know she was in a better situation than she had been in before

Cade nodded and swallowed down the rest of the roll. "The mail boy will bring the paper and you'll read it there. He should be here in a few days to come get you then you'll be on to bigger and better things." Cade washed his hands and pulled his hair back. "But you can feel free to come visit at any time." Cade opened and oven and pulled out a sheet of sweet rolls to place on display. As he bummed open the door open with his hip, the people in the front gave a cheer.
Rowan watched Leo over the counter and kept giving him a little smile. Cade kept taping Rowan to get him to focus. The male sighed and would get back to work, but would quickly find himself distracted again. As the lunch rush ended, Rowan disappeared into the back. The mailboy had never come past and he was worried. Cade assured him all was well and sent him back to work. Mama Cleo had placed the sign in the window signifying it was dance night. Cade sighed as he knew he'd be up until at least one in the morning cleaning up and escorting drunken fools out the door. Rowan was excited to get to be on stage again especially since he was now free.

((is this a bakery, resturant, or a bar? because most bakeries that i know of don't serve alchihol and if they have tables there are only a couple)) Leo moved easily through the crowds serving and talking with the customers. he introduced himself as Eva Skye the temporary help that Miss Cleo hired for the next couple days and those who had seen hi the day before didn't recodnise him so he felt he would be safe in the castle with this disguise. when the luch rush was over he moved to Cade, having thought of something that worried him. "Cade, how will Lucian-sama know of my changing my name?" he asked, suddenly worried. he saw Miss Cleo put up the sign for dance night and then noticed how excited Rowan was, but he was worried tha the mail carrier hadn't come yet and also how he would inform Lucian of his altered name
