Gwin rolled her eyes.
"Wouldn't fit his big ol' head anyways." she laughed. Gwin hung the circlet on her belt, giving it a wary glance, and jogged to catch up to Severus.
"Fast-walking drama-" She gaped at the sword in the stone. "Queen." she finished in a muted whisper.
After a moment, glancing from Sev to the stone, Gwin gave a stiffled chortle.
Catching a recovery from her covered myrth, Gwin cleared her throat and nodded curtly at the sword.
"Go ahead, give it a heave. Or that's how the story goes." she waved a hand to the challange.

Kailyn jogged and caught up with him. "Yeaah. Like we have anything better to do in this cursed maze?" (Like find his item....)
Severus rolled his eyes. "Right...." He said, barely concealing his distain for such an unoriginal place for a sword. He stepped up to it though, sighing. Sev set his hands around the hilt, and pulled upwards with all his might. (xD) The sword came s l o w l y.....And Severus was panting by the time it finally came out. (Emo muscles!) He held it up carefully, examining the designs on the hilt. "Oh, I should have known." He held it to Gwin, hid face marked with distain. "It's a Gryffie sword, so probably for you.'

Gwin had, through his ordeal, continued to clear her throat, and sniff continiously, consitering that she was a chaser for the Gryffindor Qwittich team. Or was- Gwin banished her un-comfortable, other voicely thoughts with a rousing glare at Severus' meager 'attept' at the sword.
She shrugged, and reached for the sword. She was repelled by a sheild, and thrown clear across to the other wall/hedge, and landed with a sick thud on the dirt.
"Not- f-for me." Gwin wheezed, wiping a trickle of blood from her lip. She sat up a bit more, painfully.
"Helluva sword you got on your hands, Sev."

Sev winced when she landed, and looked at the sword with a mixture of admiration and horror. "Helluva sword." He repeated dumbly, before dropping it (xD) and hurrying over to Gwin. "Are you alright?" He couldn't help but feel somewhat responsible, and Mum had always said.....But no, he wouldn't think about that. Not about Mum.

Gwin rolled her eyes.
"No worse than when you play against the Splint twins for practice." she tried to chuckle.
"Ow." she hissed, though not meaning to make a sound.
"Just fine- Leammme alone!" she shoved him gently, slightly enjoying the attention.
Gwin attempted to get up. She felt strain on her ankle.
"Crap it." she muttered and pulled out Rhea. She muttered a healing spell, that should've taken the pressure off, but nothing happened.
Gwin rapped the wand on her thiegh.
"Stupid piece of wood!" she murmered, and, glancing Sev's way, pretended it had worked.
"See- Nothing worse for wear." she slowly managed to pull herself up along the wall.

Remus smiled and led the way, exploring and making sure that Kailyn was close behind. They explored four passages, following a sort of murmering, until they came upon a horrifying sight. It was Sirius and Nadia. "Your...socks," he said dumbly, to Sirius. "I thought you got rid of them years ago."
Sirius looked up sheepishly. "Well, I..." he trailed off, noticing Kailyn for the first time and straightening up. He cleared his throat. "...didn't. What are you two doing here?"

Nadia gave Kailyn a smile. Then she noticed the sword. Nadia walked over to Kailyn and pointed at the sword. "It's a pretty fancy sword you got there. Where'd you get that Kailyn?"

Kailyn smiled at Nadia. "Oh, this?" She said rather offhandedly, drawing the sword smoothly so her friend could see. "I just...stumbled across it, really." She sheathed it and turned to Sirius, a smirk on her face. "By the way, Black, I simply adore your socks."
Severus gave Gwin a look. "I'm not that dumb, you know." He said, rather annoyed. It was perfectly obvious to him that it hadn't worked, and he could see no sensible reason why she would hide her pain. He sighed, and muttered "Vertere Curatio", the strongest healing spell he knew. Girls. So confusing.....

Gwin gave Severus the darrok-death* stare.
"I said I'm fine, and I meant it!" growled Gwin in frustration as the spell wrapped around her. But, the spell didn't work. Well, it was there, Gwin could feel it brushing against her skin, but it wouldn't go in. (OOC: Did that make sense? >.o;;; ) Gwin watched her ankle carefully for a moment, then smiled, continuing to pretend that Sev had really saved her.
I don't need help from the likes of the Slyther's princess. she thought viciously. And I won't take that back! she added hastily, in case he had read her mind.
Gwin got up and gave a nod to the sword.
"You, pick up your sword- Let's get moving."
Gwin glanced at her hip, where the circlet hung on her belt(loop?).
"I ain't puttin' you back on- Nuh-uh!"

Sirius smiled. So she had a sense of humor as well. "Good. I just love them to pieces," he said, in a joking tone. "We have similar tastes, then."
Remus scuffed the dirt. He was always uncomfortable when Sirius was flirting. He scuffed it harder when he noticed a sharp ridge jutting out from earth. He picked at the dirt with his fingers, and was able to pull out the object--a sort of archaic mug no larger than his fist.

[Hey, Rallie + Roo here! We're together, so we plotted & collaborated, and now.... The plot moves.] Peter wheezed a laugh, trying to keep safe on both the Marauders' side, and the Rogues'. He wrung his hands and looked between them nervously.
"I- er- supose we ought to get m-moving?" he said, more question than statement.
He seemed absolutely frightened to anything, but at least it would do somthing....
James looked at Leah's item, then nodded to Peter.
"Absolutely, Let's go." He said desisively, motioning Peter to his side.
Leah snorted. "How just like a guy, has to keep moving ALL the time, eh?" She shrugged scornfully, and started walking (Unknowingly) Towards Gwin and Severus. James rolled his eyes, and followed.
Peter bounced on his heels once or twice, and followed the leader-heads. He sniffed the air, and shuddered. Something was on the air- Something only a rat would notice. [Die rat, die!]
"Erm, guys?" he skittered between the two. "I've -er- caught something on the wind. Not -um- a good thing."
Leah turned to Peter with distain. To her, Peter was just....Ugh. "Wind? We're underground, in case you haven't noticed." Her voice was full of scorn for the (As she thought) shrimpy boy. Sure, he was taller than she was, but he usually was slouching, and what Leah lacked in height, she more than made up for with personality. "See?" She said, walking backwards around the corner and facing him. "Nothing to worry about." As she turned the corner, she literally ran into a Sphinx that was waiting for them.
James was caught between snickering at the expression on Leah's face as she saw what she had run into and the ear-splitting shriek she emitted, and gaping and screaming himself. A Sphinx is very alarming, after all.
Peter's reaction to the Sphinx was more or less like Leah's, including the girly shriek. He stumbled backwards, tripping over James' foot, and fell rather inconveniently on some wickedly sharp rocks. He moaned, and then blacked out.
As soon as Peter blacked out, he was beamed up in the same light that had seperated them all at the beginning of the maze. At that very same moment, a silver pocket watch with snakes intertwined on the front and sides unceremoniously fell on Nadia's head.
Gwin started at the two sudden shrieks. She limped faster, not paying any heed to anything Severus might have said. Ignoring the pain in her ankle, she broke into a limping run. "I'm coming, Leah!" She shouted as she skidded around the corner. The sight of the Sphinx, however, stopped her dead in her tracks.

Nadia watched Remus as he uncovered the ancient mug. She held her hands behind her back, and strolled over to him. Leaning over his shoulder, Nadia scrutinized the mug. "Quite the find there Remy. But how would a thing like that get down here?" Suddenly, something landed hard on Nadia's head. She stumbled back and rubbed her head. "Ok. Who threw a rock at me?" Then, something below her caught her eye; Nadia looked down to find a silver pocket watch placed at her feet. She picked it up. "Umm, guys? Look what I found."

"Quite the find," repeated Remus, examining the mug closely. He looked up at Nadia, and laughed when he saw her astonishment. "I could say the same for you," he retorted. "Open it. Does it still work?" he asked, studying the watch in Nadia's hands.
