 " i'm glade she'll heal but i still fear that either her or the count will die tonight if not both" has much as she hated the fact to think that she couldn't help who would win the fight between the two kingdoms and why where they even fighting over something that's been long passed.

~Asami Naoko~ "You've cast me into darkness for years... now, it's my turn to take you with me!" ~Asami Naoko gaia_nitemareleft Asami followed her senses to the battle, wearing her Anbu mask. She could sense a very dark energy here, and she knew that it could only be that of Yami. 'This time... this time, I will end you!' Asami thought to herself before coming out of hiding and standing beside Lucius. She recognized the vampire king, but restrained the urge to take off her mask and show him who she really was. Underneath her mask, she was blushing quite a bit and she calmed herself enough to talk normally. "Do you need any help, Lucius? I have a vow against her, and I am willing to help you take her down. She deserves it after what she did to me." Asami said to Lucius, her eyes meeting his for the first time. She didn't want to take her mask off just yet, but she would gladly take it off at his request should he ask that of her. gaia_nitemareright

Neko watched as more people began to show up and vampires to be in fact. she then got an ideal " Yami and Varieb i think it will be best to get as many of your kingdom's people out of here as possible. at lest try to save as many of your dark kingdom's people." she then looked over at Rena and Nikki "you two shouldn't fight someone has to lead your parents kingdom. come princess follow me i can get you and your people to safety"

Are you afraid?" - Count Lucius gaia_nitemareleft Lucius stopped to consider his surroundings. After a few brief moments he said to Varieb. "Hunters? I believe I eradicated nearly all of them before I fell asleep. " 'I may have missed a couple' He thought. He turned to Rena who had tugged on his sleeve and smiled his warm smile. "I appreciate the kind thought, thank you young lady." He patted her head again and turned finally to the stranger in the mask, still smiling. "You've been spying on me for quite some time ,my dear. I was wondering when you'd show yourself. In response to your offer, I refuse. I don't need any help to accomplish my goals. Besides, you're wearing a mask, how can I ever trust someone whose face I have not yet seen?" He looked at the stranger. Her body language told him enough. She was nervous for one reason or another. But being the gentleman that he is, he wouldn't mention it.

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena saw Lucius smile at her again and felt his hand gently pat her head, then she decided that she would stop holding herself back. She gently hugged Lucius and smiled, looking at his eyes. "I've always wanted to have an older brother who cared about me... will you be my brother too?" Rena asked, somewhat nervous that he would refuse and try to push her away. She was still very young and never had much of a childhood, but she still liked the idea of having an older brother. gaia_nitemareright ~Asami Naoko~"You've cast me into darkness for years... now, it's my turn to take you with me!" ~Asami Naoko gaia_nitemareleft Asami blushed even more when she heard his voice. It was so kind and gentle that she thought she was under some sort of spell. When he refused to let her help and mentioned her mask, she sighed. "I am an S-rank Anbu Black Ops member, Lucius. This mask helps keep my identity a secret from those who don't need to know. But if you really need to know to trust me, I will take it off." Asami said, trying to get herself to stop blushing before she slowly gripped the bottom of the mask and lifted it while facing Lucius. She smiled, hiding her nervousness of course, and looked at his dark red eyes. "My name is Asami Naoko, also known as Lilith when I'm in full uniform. I was sent to help your kingdom a few times, when your position was threatened. I stayed in the shadows, because that's all I ever was. A mere shadow to someone else. I didn't want to be, but that's how it turned out. My parents were too busy caring for the village until they died. They forgot all about the little girl they left behind, until the note they left. The innocent little girl they once knew... is gone forever. She might never return... but the soldier that is standing here, without shedding a single tear, is here to stay." Asami said before she knelt before Lucius with her head bowed and her right arm resting on her right knee, with her Anbu mask in her right hand. This was an Anbu's greatest sign of respect and loyalty to another person, and she simply smiled while in this position. "I have always been loyal to you, Lucius. I have been doing what I can to protect you, while remaining in the shadows. I watched you like an angel would, but stayed away from you only to make sure you never knew. But you knew, which means I've failed you and my fellow Anbu." she said, pausing for a moment while staying in her position on the ground. Asami wouldn't get up until Lucius allowed her to do so, as this showed her discipline that she learned while working as an Anbu. "My reason for coming here may be the same as yours, if I know you well enough. It is vengeance, if I'm not mistaken, and this dark being has done something to wrong us both." she said, not even moving so much as an inch without his permission. Asami was trying not to be so nervous around Lucius, but he just had that effect on her. She wasn't scared of him or what he could do, but she was afraid that he may not approve of her presence after all these years. gaia_nitemareright

She knew that she couldn't avoid it forever, but she wasn't healed yet and she needed to gain some sort of strength to face Lucius and Asami by herself. gaia_nitemareright

Neko sighed then began to help people out the kingdom so no one would get hurt she could only watch and wait to see what happen she was scared that both Yami and Lucius would die in battle if not Yami. but she was scared to tell anyone how she felt.

Are you Afraid?" - Count Lucius gaia_nitemareleft Lucius was surprised by Rena's sudden hug. But he didn't take offense to it. "You want me to be your brother? That's a strange request, one of the strangest one's I've been issued. Are you sure about that?" He then politely listened to Asami's story and whistled. "Sounds like a lot has happened to you my dear. I must admit that I find it amusing that you think I need protection. Further more, I feel that your help won't be necessary in this matter that I'm attending to. For this is my vengeance." He turned to the castle where Yami was and yelled. "Dark Queen, enough stalling! Hurry up and face me! I will have my vengeance against you! No one will interfere with me either or there will be serious consequences! Now come and Face Me!" gaia_nitemareright

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena smiled and hugged Lucius a little tighter, leaning her head against him. "Yes, I'm sure. After all, I'm really only four days old. My body just aged really quickly for some odd reason." she said while still hugging Lucius. Rena knew that Lucius might be taken back by that and she was prepared for it, but nothing seemed to surprise him at all. It didn't really matter, but she was still ready. gaia_nitemareright ~Asami Naoko~"You've cast me into darkness for years... now, it's my turn to take you with me!" ~Asami Naoko gaia_nitemareleft Asami stayed perfectly silent while Lucius spoke, sighing a little when he finished. She could tell that he had a lot of pride, but she wasn't about to let him take her only salvation, her revenge, away from her. "It isn't just your vengeance... it is mine as well. What she did to me... was probably far worse than what happened to you. Allow me to elaborate on that: Many years ago, she visited my village's Daimyo and asked for his alliance. He refused, and she cast the entire village into darkness. Mountains rose from the soil, darkened and isolated the village. We only received half the amount of sunlight that we normally received, and our crops were dying. The human population dropped due to starvation, but my parents created the system that breathed life into the village once more, a magnifying system that increased the sunlight's intensity to revive the crops. They also created a tunnel system through the mountains to free us from isolation. They were the heroes of the village... but I was forgotten. All the while... they forgot the little girl they left behind. I only discovered their true intentions when the Dark Queen killed them, after reading their note. They were protecting the village to protect me... and that's when I swore vengeance on her. They left a special sword and bracelet for me, in a chest in the basement of my old home. There was a key on the back of they note they left, which unlocked the chest that contained them. I saw you in your kingdom when I went on my missions... you were kind and gentle, but alone. When this war between light and darkness broke out, my village was destroyed while I was on a mission and I ran to your kingdom to seek your help. I saw an ocean of blood... but you weren't there. I knew something was wrong and I traced your aura. I found you locked away like someone unwanted, but I knew that wasn't the truth. I've talked to your sister sometimes, but she was alone and looking for you. She told me how she missed you... so I went back and gave my blood to awaken you. I vanished before you could see me, and I stayed in the shadows until today. Every day... I wished to see you again. I thought today that I would seek my vengeance, but I didn't realize that she's your target as well. It seems that fate twists the lives of many for many reasons. Maybe the reason for fate twisting our lives is to bring us together for a common cause, for vengeance. I am willing to accept that... but are you?" Asami said, still in her position on the ground. "I won't rise until you bid me do so, or until an immediate danger is present." she informed Lucius, not moving a single muscle in her body. Asami was perfectly still like a statue, being that her body and mind were highly trained to be well-disciplined and to make the right decisions. She held honor and loyalty to her allies above all else, even her own life. Asami secretly loved Lucius and cared about him greatly, showing it in how she remained on the ground. She knew that as an Anbu, the highest form of respect was to kneel before the person, bow your head, and have your mask off and in the hand that is resting on your raised knee. The next highest form of respect was almost the same, except the the Anbu would have their mask on. The next step down from that was almost the same as the step before, except they would keep their gaze on the other person. Those were the tiers of respect in the Anbu organization. If an Anbu doesn't kneel for someone upon formally meeting them, they don't respect the person at all. Asami was showing her greatest form of respect to Lucius and she hoped that he would recognize it. gaia_nitemareright "Illusive Shadow" Kekkei Genkai: Inactive ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami finished healing herself using the shadows and used the shadows around her to form a very formal-looking black dress with long detached sleeves, then she revealed her black wings and had them flared out a little. 'Well, my destiny awaits. I shouldn't keep him waiting any longer.' she thought to herself, holding her staff in hand and gracefully walking toward Lucius and Asami. "I wasn't stalling. Varieb's fire pillar hurt me earlier and I had to recover. You wouldn't want to fight me while I was weakened, would you?" Yami said before laughing a little. She knew she was going to die tonight, but she was going to have a little fun doing it. "Of course not. You have too much pride to allow for such a thing. Now, let's get this fight done and over with, shall we?" Yami said with a smirk before her eyes moved to Asami. "Ah, the little girl from the Village Hidden by Shadows! I remember you... your parents were the heroes of the village. They were no match for me and neither was your village, apparently. I still have yet to face you in battle." she said before noticing that Asami would not move, despite sensing her rage. "Oh my... this is quite stunning! Absolutely adorable, really! You would kneel for Lucius and give him the highest respect an Anbu like yourself can offer when he destroyed his own kingdom? You love him, don't you dear? Do you really cherish him more than your own life?" Yami teased, laughing at this. She saw Asami blush and sigh, remaining in her position. "Yes... yes, I do. But you know something, Dark Queen? I'm not afraid to admit how I feel. I'm not afraid of the shadows, or you, or death itself. I'm not afraid to fall, because I know I will rise again. I've been kept in the shadows so long that I've become one of them... and soon enough, I will rise above them and master them too." Asami retorted towards Yami, keeping perfectly still in her position on the ground. Yami laughed at this, and proceeded to tease them again. "That's precious! Really, it is! But have you ever thought about whether or not Lucius would love you back, even if he could? You're too naive too see that. You're too blinded by your loyalty and honor to see him for who he really is. He's a monster, just like I am, just like you are! We are all monsters in our own ways! Whether we embrace it or not, that's the truth. There's no changing that, ever!" she said. Yami was having a bit too much fun with this, but she knew that this was the only way to get them to show their true powers. She knew that they would only show power in rage, in vengeance, and she wanted them to hit her with all they had. gaia_nitemareright

Neko waited with the kingdoms people to see how the battle would turn out. would the dark queen Yami and her king Varibe win or would the vampire Lord Lucius win with this new random vampire girl. she mumbled to herself "be careful everyone please"

 "I guess i have no choice but to not interfere with this fight of Yami, Yami would wish for me to not get involved because she knows i would be in danger as well and that this has to do this for the sake of the kingdom if i interfered, it would cause the kingdom to be in danger, Rena use your Sharingan to watch over the fight and don't interfere even though its hard to do since she is my wife and that Yami is your mother but let your mother do this, they came for her and we cannot interfere with that or everybody else including us would be hunted and killed." Varieb said this with tears from his eyes knowing he shouldn't disturb his wife's honor and pride and that if she is slowly dying he will run to her side and be right there for her. Nikki heard how Varieb spoke of his wife's honor and pride yet he didn't like the idea of not doing anything about it but he knows Varieb is right. This is Yami's fight and nobody else should get the way of it if everybody else did, Yami wouldn't exactly be able to fight full strength.

Are you Afraid?" - Count Lucius gaia_nitemareleft Lucius Stood silent, listening to Asami talk. His head leaned forward a little to where his eyes couldn't be seen. He then made Rena let him go and he walked to Asami, standing right in front of her. He bowed to her and stood again smiling warmly at her. He reached out and patted her head. "You are a very strong and brave girl to face such dangers and hardships alone. I truly admire you. You awoke me in time to save someone precious to me and for that I am grateful to you as well as in your debt. However, my vengeance is yours as well. Between the two of us, you will not succeed and I will not allow anymore pointless bloodshed. So please stand my dear. I am not someone whom is worthy of such respect because right now, I am the largest hypocrite to walk. You will see why in a moment." He turned to Yami and his warmed smile turned into a demonic grin as he began to pace towards her. " Be silent! Dark Queen, you are right. I am a monster and I may or may not be capable of loving another. But you're not as accurate about me destroying my kingdom. My kingdom isn't necessarily gone." His grin grew large exposing his sharpened teeth and his aura grew darker. The winds around him shifted. "That's enough idle chat. Come at me Dark Queen! I promise that you will shake with fear before this is all over!" gaia_nitemareright

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena felt Lucius make her let go of him and sighed, feeling a little upset that he didn't even respond to her. She figured that talking to Asami was more important to him, though, and decided to bring it up at a later time. Rena kind of figured that Lucius would respond to Asami with kindness once she mentioned talking to his sister a few times, so apparently fate had intertwined their destinies. She smiled, stood back, and watched as their stories unfolded in front of her eyes. gaia_nitemareright ~Asami Naoko~"You've cast me into darkness for years... now, it's my turn to take you with me!" ~Asami Naoko gaia_nitemareleft Asami saw his shadow move along the ground and lean forward as though he bowed to her, although she didn't see it herself. She felt his hand pat her head and remained perfectly still, even when he spoke. When he was finished talking, hearing him ask her to rise, Asami did so and watched him carefully. "I am one with the shadows themselves, Count Lucius. There is nothing she can do that will harm me." she said with a smile as she stood off to the side of him a little and placed her Anbu mask over her face again, preparing to counter Yami's first move to demonstrate her own power. "Now, Dark Queen... face your destiny." Asami said while grinning demonically behind her mask. She was about as bad as Lucius when it came to things like this. After all, she possessed almost the same amount of strength as he did and she wasn't going to let all that training and hardship go to waste. gaia_nitemareright "Illusive Shadow" Kekkei Genkai: Inactive ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami smiled and grinned, looking at Lucius and Asami getting ready to battle her. "If you insist..." she said with her evil grin, twirling her staff in her hand a little until it transformed into a double-sided windmill blade. Yami then proceeded to take control of Lucius's shadow and transform it into a gigantic beast with its claws and teeth ready to tear something apart. Asami saw this and easily took control of the beast, sending it at her instead. Yami sliced through it easily and created a slicing wind with how fast and hard she swung her blade, then she sighed and looked at Asami. "I guess you weren't kidding when you said you were one with the shadows...." she said with a smirk before trying to slash at her with her windmill blade, but Asami stood still then swiftly blocked her with her own blade in less than a second. "You can't hit a shadow... but a shadow can hit you." Asami said before doing a swift palm thrust directly at her abdomen, sending her back quite a distance. She smirked and glanced at Lucius through her mask. "This is why I’m an S-rank Anbu, Lucius… I’m about as strong as you are when it comes to things like this. I can also be quite merciless if I so choose to be." Asami said before returning her attention to Yami, who was already up from the palm thrust that knocked her back. ”Not bad… let’s see if you can break this.” Yami said before using Asami’s own shadow to ensnare her like vines. Asami let it happen and laughed softly at this weak attempt to trap her, then she let her laugh grow and echo throughout the area. She then unravelled the shadowy vines from around her and let them wave menacingly.”Ah hahahahaha! Like I said, you cannot even harm a shadow, but a shadow can kill you!” Asami said before she ensnared Yami just like she did to her not too long ago. Asami was having a bit too much fun with this, but she didn’t care. She was loving the fact that she could counter every move Yami could use and use it against her somehow, which would eventually make Yami tired while Asami still stood strong. gaia_nitemareright

Are you Afraid?" gaia_nitemareleft Lucius was impressed by Asami's ability, but he knew her power fell just short of the Dark Queen's and his. 'She is talented. That much is certain, however, she will not win this fight. I suppose I'll just step in before it gets worse.' He swiftly appeared next to Asami in an instant. "You're quite talented my dear, Asami. I applaud your effort and determination. Here is your reward.." He turned her to face him, removing her mask as he did so. He leaned down to her face and caressed his lips against hers for a momentary kiss. He finshed and said. "Now, rest. Okay?" He hit the back of her neck, causing her to fall out of consciousness and carried her to a nearby tree. "Now, you just take it easy. I'll deal with this." He turned to Yami "My apologies, shall we start?." gaia_nitemareright

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena watched the conflict from a distance, seeing that Yami and Asami were nearly of equal power. She then saw Lucius kiss Asami before knocking her out, letting a little gasp escape from her lips before she hid in the nearby trees and kept her gaze away from the battle. She didn't want to see any bloodshed from the battle and she didn't want to witness her mother's death, for it was bad enough that she failed to defend her. gaia_nitemareright ~Asami Naoko~"You've cast me into darkness for years... now, it's my turn to take you with me!" ~Asami Naoko gaia_nitemareleft Asami felt Lucius's presence next to her in an instant and heard him speak to her. She was stunned, absolutely speechless, and she blushed deeply as he turned her to face him and she felt him remove her mask. Asami then saw him lean toward her and she felt his lips caress against hers in a kiss, then she returned his kiss and slowly closed her eyes. When he finished kissing her, she looked into his eyes with a gentle smile. Before she could say anything, Asami heard him tell her to rest before she felt his hand hit the back of her neck to make her fall unconscious, her spell on Yami being released in that instant. She fell into his arms and kept a very loose grip on her sword, able to hold it until he set her under a nearby tree. Asami dropped it completely then, and could no longer feel what was happening in the outside world. gaia_nitemareright "Illusive Shadow" Kekkei Genkai: Inactive ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami watched Lucius while trapped in the shadowy vines, not even trying to break free. She watched what happened between Lucius and Asami and laughed a little, letting the shadowy vines unwrap from around her slowly. "I figured that you would do something like that... you're so predictable when it comes to matters of the heart." Yami said with a devilish grin, looking directly at Lucius's eyes. "Of course. I wouldn't want to delay this any longer either way. It's so boring just waiting around, you know?" she said, laughing a little louder than before. Yami stood and readied herself for an attack. "Go ahead. I'll let you have the first move." she said, shifting into a very relaxed-looking position. Yami wasn't relaxed at all, though, but she was on her guard. She watched Lucius carefully, waiting to see what he would do. gaia_nitemareright
