Miyo smiled widely. Outside of her sister and one other thing, she always loved telling people about her past. It made her feel like she could become closer to them. She picked out a photo album and sat on the couch next to Kioku and opened it to the first page. It showed four pictures, all of them of three little girls all roughly the same age. "Okay, that one on the right is me, the one on the left is Riya. You met her at that restaurant...she left right after you came up to us! And the one in the middle is...was... Rebecca. She was our friend... Wow, I realize I've lost a lot of people important to me..." Miyo looked down. She wasn't exactly sad, but more meloncholy.

Kioku looked down at the pictures that Miyo showed her, smiling at them a little bit. She then put an arm around Miyo and hugged her a little when she told her about Rebecca. "I'm so sorry, Miyo. It does seem that way, but I know that it will get better. Telling other people about them and keeping their memories cherished in your head is what keeps them alive in our hearts, Miyo." She told her gently.

"Yeah... You're right. We were all really close and telling other people do keep them alive." Miyo smiled slightly and turned the page. There was a photo of Little Miyo, a woman and a man. She laughed. "That's me and my parents before Chise was born. You can see the bulge that's my sister-to-be!"

Kioku smiled down at the picture of Miyo and her parents, remembering when she was pregnant. "That's a really nice picture, Miyo. I remember when I was that pregnant, and it wasn't all that bad." She said to Miyo, then looked to Rose and smiled softly down at her. "I love her with all my heart, no matter the circumstances of how she came to be."

"heh. Yeah. I kinda understand that. I can't wait to be a mother myself." Miyo smiled. She turned the page and there were photos of Miyo with a little girl who looked like a smaller, brown-haired version of Miyo. "And that's...Chise," Miyo said with a sad smile.

Kioku looked back at Miyo and nodded at hearing this. "You will be some day, Miyo. I know that you will. You'll make a wonderful mom too." She smiled at Miyo, then looked down at the picture of Chise. "She looks just like you." Kioku said as she smiled softly at the picture, putting an arm over Miyos shoulders gently to comfort her.

"Thanks... I hope I will be... And yeah. She did... We were always told that." Miyo smiled to Kioku, not looking as sad as she was before. She turned another page and it showed Miyo, Riya, Rebecca, and Chise.

Kioku smiled back at Miyo. "You're welcome. I know that you will, Miyo." She then looked down at the next picture. "It's all four of you together, huh?"

Miyo nodded. "Yeah. We were pretty much insperable, the four of us. Chise would always follow us around. We didn't mind, we thought it was adorable..." Miyo smiled as she gently stroked the picture.

Kioku looked down at the picture and smiled. "She sounds like she was a wonderful sister to you, Miyo. That is adorable that she followed you around like that. I'm so sorry that you lost her, Miyo. I never had any siblings to do that with me. I'm an only child."

Miyo smiled at her friend. "Yeah... it was adorable...And she might be gone...but there's always her memory, right?" Miyo looked up at the ceiling. "Only child? But I'm guessing you weren't one of those who didn't know how to share and was used to it their way, were you? You don't seem like the type. It might just be that you're a mother, but even so..." She nodded and looked down at the baby with a small smile.

(I am soooo sorry for my long absence. My old computer died on me, and it took forever for my new roommate to get the video card for my new one from stupid UPS. xp He custom-built me one now though, and I'll be around once more.
