Yakov transformed and poked his head out the door. The hallway was empty. He took off down the stairs. He hadn't been a wolf in so long and he loved it. As soon as he got outside, he ran straight for the trees.

"Huh..." Luka tore her attention away from his hair. "Oh, yeah sure." She wandered over to the sink and brought Connor his pills. Then she went to the window. Once again she was torn between Connor and the night.

"You really want to go, don't you?" Connor asked after downing the pain killers. "I'm not going to guilt you into staying, especially since you missed your run last night because of me." His eyes were drawn to her face as the moonlight illuminated her dark skin. "It's not that I don't want you to stay but... I also don't want you going stir crazy."

"Yes, that's what it looks like," Curtis agreed with Katra's comment. He paced around and sniffed curiously. "Odd. I've never seen a cow out here before. Come on, you can rinse your paw off in the stream." He started walking towards the cool, flowing water with the hope that she would follow.

Luka turned away from the window. She looked at Connor and tilted her head. "Could you possibly turn around?"

Connor blinked in confusion, but nodded and slowing rolled onto his side, facing the wall. What in the world was she doing?

"Thank you." Luka removed her cloths and folded them. She place them onto a chair and then transfromed. She wandered over to Connor and nosed his back. "Please don't freak," she whispered.

When something cold and wet nudged his back, Connor craned his neck to look behind him. There was a werewolf, but unlike when he normally beheld such a beast he did not leap up to attack or reach for a weapon. Instead he closed his eyes, took a steadying breath, and rolled back over to face her.
"I've never been this close to a wolf without trying to kill them," he told her as he reached out with a shaky hand to touch her ears. "Or the other way around."

She tilted her head as he touched her ear. She absolutely loved her ears being touched. It was kind of embarassing to be petted like this though. "I'm just gonna go out for a little bit and then I'm coming back. You should try to sleep."

"Hey, don't rush on my account," Connor told her, shocked at the concern and genuine care in his own voice. "Enjoy yourself. Run, hunt, have fun." He rubbed her ears for a moment longer. "Sleep sounds great." He blushed. "If you come back, it may be quite difficult to wake me up."

Jeff was quick to follow Yakov. He was glad there was no one about at this time. When he reached the trees and caught up with Yakov and playfully nipped at his tail. He hoped there would be some bigger game to hunt than just the usual squirells and rabbits.

Kat did her best not to gag as she followed Curtis. The smell was definatly getting to her. It was worse that cow poo, she had been around one too many cows and this was either a mixture or just some really sick cow. She put her paw into the water and let the crap wash off. It took her a second to realize that not only the crap was coming off, but chunks of her fur. SHe quickly pulled her paw back and noted the now random bald spots on her leg. She wanted to cry.

Yakov turned and snapped at Jeff's ears. "You got your tail already."

Luka licked his hand. "Like I would interupt your sleeping. Like I keep saying, I need you better. You are goin' some serious soft on me." She slipped out of his room and down the stairs. The second she got outside, she burst into a flat out run and headed straight for the trees. So, unfortunately she couldn't exactly see where she was going, which is why she ran straight into Jeff. "Um...hi," she said a little dazed. Than she noticed her brother and she looked back and forth between the two. "Yakov?"

Jeff giggled and then saw, rather felt, Luka. "Hello there..." He wasn't sure how Yakov was going to deal with this. He didn't want to tell Luka about them unless Yakov wanted to.

Curtis' brow dipped in confusion.
"Cow feces shouldn't do that..." he commented. "It must be something else. Maybe we should get you back to the cabin and have you shower off completely, just to be safe."

Aurora was already well into the chase. She'd taken out several squirrel nests already and she was aiming for just one more... *swat*
She followed easily as the squirrel darted out of the hollow (which had just been invaded by her paw) and across the way into a tree.
She leapt onto the trunk, easily catching him between her jaws before he could scurry around to the back of the tree.
She crunched down on his head and then in surprise spit the broken contents out.
Her mouth tasted foul... bitter and metallic. She looked up into the tree. She contemplated it for a moment, and then leapt up into the branches.
She tested the air heavily with her nose. (Her sence of smell wasn't so good... but she hoped the human food would smell strong enough...) And sure enough, before too long she smelled cheetos and something sour. The squirrels had picked up a raccoon habit...

Kat sniffled slighty and nodded. She couldn't beleive her beautiful fur. She started back limping slightly.

"Luka, what the hell are you doing out here?" He glanced over at Jeff and really hoped that Luka wouldn't put anything together. He'd only liked Jeff for like a few hours now and he'd decided that that didn't exactlly make him...it meant he liked Jeff. That could happen right? She definately wouldn't see it that way. She would be on about this for the rest of his life.

"What the hell do you think I'm doing out here? Yeesh, you act like the whole world belongs to you, I swear." She looked over at Jeff and noticed something strange about the fur on his neck and realized that he had a rather fresh scar. "Hey, what happened to you?"
