Giving a little nod, Rin took his hand, beginning to dance with Patches; she avoided eye contact, looking off.
He can read people too well, I don't want him to think something is wrong.

"i had almost forgotten how wonderful you dance...its great to see you enjoying yourself again"
Adwin spun with taylor in his arms, the little girl squeeling with excitment as they danced.

Alric continued to watch Rin as she danced with patches. He saton the side with a drink in hand blending into the crowd as much as he could.
Patches completely enjoyed the dance with Rin...he always had in the past as well. Her coordination alowed for her to flow so nicely across the floor.
"I have really missed these moments, dancing with you....i do hope you are here to stay for good"

Their dance continued until the song ended, Patches bowing to Rin before letting her go her own way.
"Thank you for the Dance"
Patches left and walked over to Iaens, leaning against the wall.
"She is going to stay this time"
Adwin walked to Tristin with Taylor still in his arms, stealing tristin away from one of the sailers so that he can dance with both of his ladies.

Smiling, Tristin danced with him, a smile on her face as she looked into his eyes. He was so romantic sometimes, and she would have never expected it when she had first met him.
Going back over to Alric, Rin gave him a little smile, enjoying the music.
"Can we dance?"

Alric was extremely surprised to hear her ask him to dance. She knew he wanted to stay out of the spotlight but he wasn't going to dey her the joy he knew she got from dancing.
"I would be honored"
Dancing in his cloak was harder than he thought as Rin and He began to dance. The twisting and spinning made his hod want to fall backwards but somehow he managed to kep it on.
"you really love to dance don't you"

He meant every word....he did find himself more relaxed as their dance continued. He knew almost everyone had their eyes on them but he didn't care at thi moent, right no it was just the two of them.

Rin was now beginning to enjoy herself completely; hell, she didn't need to dread tonight, when everyone wanted to be happy.

Patches watched Rin and the stranger dance, him tanding near the door to his cabin. He had looking into Rin when he asked her about staying and he knew she really meant it. He was extremely releived to know that since he had really taken a verbal beating the first time he lost her.
But that wasn't the only reason he was releived. His ship didn't seem like it was whole without her. Having he on board picked up everyones spirits and really made the journeys seem shorter.
"so what do you think of this guy she is with"
As Talor began to cry Adwin knew it would be time to put her down for a nap. She had been up longer than normal due to the party and she was exhausted. he walked carryiing taylor to their room where he gently tucked her into bed.

"Hm, he seems like he really is protective over her."
He didn't want to ruin the surprise; not yet.
Following behind Adwin, Tristin helped, watching their daughter as she continued to fuss.
"Oh, I'll sing her a song..."
With that, she began to sing a soft lullaby, watching as their daughter's eyes began to warily close.
Looking up at Alric again, she smiled a little smile, to show him that she really was enjoying herself.

Their dance was lovely but like all things it had to end. s soon as the music stopped another sailer cut in and took Rin for the next dance. Alric, smiled at her and then walked back to his position on the side. Her being the only girl out here meant everyone wanted to dance with her. It would lighten the mood for everyone in the end....This party as a really good idea.
"Yes i see that too, which also worries me...who could have gotten that protective of her so quickly....it bothers me"
Patches watched the man as he walked back to his seat and drink......who are you really.

Dancing with everyone, Rin enjoyed herself.
"Hm, well, perhaps he is the guy who had been following us previously."
He smiled, continuing to watch the scene.
