As soon as akina had her breath back the shinobi grabed her and put her onto a chair, tying her to it.
"now we know that your not supposed to take off your mask you being new and all so we thought we would help you out....."
Kabuto walked up removing her mask and holding it up.
"we are gonna carve this design into that pretty little face of yours so that you will nver be without it"
Kabuto set the mask on the table and walked back. One of the shnbi coming forward with a kunai in hand. Two of the others grabbed her head so that she could not move it. The shinobi began to carve he design from the mask onto her face, using small cuts at first, and gradually making deeper harder ones. the blood running down her cheeks and chin to fall on her clothes.

Just looking him in the eye, she felt defeated... or at least it showed it. In her mind, she waited for him to mess up just once...
Still, she couldn't help but shake from the cold, and wince due to the pain.... while her hand squirmed to get out of the ropes.

Maru stood there watching, he kne he wouldn't be able to be one holding her down. He really didn't want to do this severe of a torture to her but he knew that it would show her worth and, besides he knew that these wounds would be healed once out of here.
The Shinobi continued until her face resembled that of the mask, she had blood all over her face and on her clothes. The shinobi let go of her head as the one that had done the carving grabbed the mask and shoved it back on her face. He was extremely plased with himself and since she sat there totally defeated he laid the kunai on the table next to her.

Mistake.
In one quick movement, Akina had the deadly weapon in her hand, slashing across his face, standing now with some unknown strength as she went to move away.

Mau quickly was behind her, pulling her arm behind her back and disarming her. He pushes akina to the other 2 shinobi.
"take her out of here"
Kabuto was annoyed at what had just happened and he just wanted akina out of his sight so he could handle the injured shinobi that now lay on the ground clutching his eye. Akina was dragged from the room and taken back to the room with hiruma.
Kabuto then knelt next to the shinobi ready to heal his eye.
"No Leave him like that, its his punishment for being so careless. bandage him up and leave it at that.
Maru couldn't stand incompitence and he knew the wound would not adversely effect the shinobi's skills. It would however be a constant reminder for him to be more aware.
hiruma wtched as Ai was brought back and thrown into a chair. The two shinobi standing there watching her. He wondered what had happened to cause them to be so angry.

Just sitting there, she leaned against whatever she could, feeling the blood run down her face, the only thing at this point that was warm to her. She was freezing, and she felt something in her throat but held it in.
No, she was in deeper trouble, and she knew that something would happen to her... but she had to take that chance...

As Hiruma looked over to Ai sitting there, he saw the blood soaked shirt and the blood trickling out from under her mask. (what did they do to her....)
Kabuto finished bandaging up the shinobi ((for who now shall be refered to as Eyepatch)) and also giving him a pain killer. Kabuto stood and helped Eyepatch to his feet. Kabuto turned to Maru.
"she will have to be punished for this"
maru just knodded. Kabuto and Maru left for the other room with eyepatch trailing them. As They entered the room Kabuto ordered akina to her feet,

Not listening, Akina just looked away, not wanting to be seen as weak... being what she signed up for. ANBU.

The 2 shinobi grab her forcing her to her feet and holding her there. Eyepatch is behind kabuto and maru brooding,
"do what you will"
Eyepatch instantly goes up to akina and kicks her knee in breaking it. Akina can do nothing to stop her from falling to the ground as Eyepatch continues to kick her in the ribs. The other Shinobi back up to gicve him room while kabuto goes over behind Hiruma.

Just wincing, holding in the pain, holding in the cries that she wanted to yell, she just tried to push herself up. She didn't know why, but she couldn't give up...

Hiruma could do nothing as eyepatch continued to kick Ai, if he cried out for them to stop they would know it bothered him which would make the beating worse. He had to sit there and watch.
Maru knew this had to happen but he didn't have to like it.
Eyepatch didn't stop with kicking her in the ribs, as she was raising herself he stomped on her writst breaking it in 3 places. He also kicked her across the face causing her to fall on her side as he returned to kicking her in the stomach.

Not moving to defend herself, she just took everything he sent at her, feeling pain shoot through her body. She tasted the blood in her mouth with every kick, felt the pain in her ribs whenever she tried to catch her breath, finding it hard to breath.

Kabuto knew how much this bothered hiruma, he had always been a leader who would take the brunt of the punishment for his team. Kabuto walked around behind hiruma's chair squatting down and whispering into hiruma's ear.
"you can't do a single thing....You have no control here and you hate it....you can't protect her from us...you can't protext anyone...in fact just being around you makes her more likely to die "
Kabuto smiled as he finished.
Hiruma was surprised by the severity of the beating, knowing how many injuries she would sustainfrom them. Hearing Kabuto's words didn't help. He was useless at this moment and could do nothing. When Kabuto finished he was angered by his words, throwing his head back into kabuto's face, breaking his nose and knocking him to his butt.
Kabuto quickly got up healing his nose.
"that will cost you"
With a quick movement kabuto knocked hiruma in the back of the head causing him to loose his sense of himself, hiruma was woozy and out of it as the beating contnud. Eventually Kabuto called a halt but Eye patch didn't stop. The other 2 shinobi grabbing him and restraining him. Kobuto motioned for them to leave, Akina laying on the ground . The shinobi left the room.

Lying there, Akina didn't move, feeling the pain shooting through her body as she just felt like she had messed up. This was all her fault.
She didn't even try to try to face away from Hiruma; she just lied there, facing him, shivering in her own puddle of blood.

Hiuruma was severely dazed, not being able to focus or even notice that the shinobi had left. He stared off trying to regain his vision. Although he stared straight at Ai he did not see her there. She was 3 people to him and he didn't know which to look at.
"A.....Akina"
Hiruma's thoughts began to move towards the beautiful Akina who was home waiting for him. He was worried about how she would continue to visit the bar never seeing him. She would be worrying if i was late.
