The Sneasel's claws would miss as they embed themselves into the mat that made up the floor of that place. His eyes narrowing as he pulls, pulls, and finally pull his claw free as he watches pieces of it fall from beneath his claws. He had failed this time as he turned back around to face the cat ....claw versus claw, and strike vs. strike.
He wasn't going to back down as he waited for his opponent's next attack.

wild wolf king wild wolf king "Quick Choco get out of the way!" Jason yelled out in desperation. The attack looked like it was a very powerful one if if it wasn't dodged it wouldn't end to well. Choco saw the attack coming and realized that it was going to be a strong attack. He knew that he would definitely need to dodge this attack or at the least keep to a small graze. He struggled to dislodge his fangs from the Sandshrew's arm since his fangs were dug in deeper than before. the roll was 14 on page 26 ((19 - 14 + 8 - 7 = 6dmg))
The attack would connect as her fist would pull the pokemon loose even as the Growlithe tries to release his grip. She had no plan of backing down as she shakes the blood area lightly and glares daggers at the puppy pokemon. She had gotten in a good hit, but not as good as she would have liked ....as she literally rotated the arm to try and make sure there wasn't any parts of her arm missing.
She snorts lightly once and then ready herself for the next strike.
((Bring it pupppy))
She declares dangerously ...her confidences had grown with that hit.

SoifonShihoin A girl walked in with a Pokeball attached to a bracelet on her left wrist. She has a matching bracelet on her right wrist that appears to hold Pokeballs as well. The bracelets appear to hold only three Pokeballs each. She sighed, watching the battles ensue and wondering when she would get her turn. The girl crossed her arms, an unchanging scowl on her face.
A voice would declare to her as she walks in .....a voice that came from nowhere, but seemed to be every where at once.
"Welcome to the Battle room, please choose your next step. Will you go through the tutorials, or do you want to go straight to battles."
That was the most she could expected to get from the computerized voice.

Arlie breathed a sigh of relief. Kallie had been able to dodge the Sneasel's attack. But now the ball was in their court. "Try scratching it back!" She ordered.
The Purrloin nodded and raised her paw up, unsheathing her claws. She leaped, aiming for her enemy's face.

Choco heard the command and charged at the Sandshrew again but slightly worried about what would happen to him if he manages to bite down on the Sandshrew this time.
He barked at the Sandshrew while charging at him

Arthur stood still. Nick sat and watched.
They both thought the same thing: 'That Pansear is going to miss, isn't he?'
The Onix made no move and Nick said no words. If they were right, this would be pretty funny.

The arrogance of both child and Pokemon would quickly prove to be their downfall as the Pansear's fist smashed into Arthur's jaw, plowing through a thinner section of rock and slamming that flaming limb into the Onix's tongue. Rather theatrically the flames would blaze, taking on a form similar to a crude dragons head; even the fires roar sounding similar to the legendary reptiles.
Pulling his arm free, the Pansear would fall earthward, flip once, then land perfectly upon his feet. Ducking slightly, the Pansear hopped backward to place more distance between him and Arthur. ">A rock might take out a match, but it can't beat a raging forest fire!<" The fiery monkey jeered, grinning from ear to ear as he put his fists up again. ">Burn n' Blaze. This chimps got the champions fire!<"
Though the attack had been quite dramatic, the Onix would initially find the strike to have very little damage...until the Pokemon's tongue throbbed. The punch hadn't done much, however the flames had done something infinity worse...

Through the sneasel wasn't anything slow. His claws came up to meet those of the cat's as he struck sideways to try and knock the blow away from his face. His mouth stretch into a smile then at that movement. He was really going to get a good fight out of this, and he was glad ...bloodthirstiness is sometimes quite rare in pokemon that have trainers.
Though he wasn't done yet, as he knocked away those claws he would move to try and strike as well ...with a upper cut that had his claws out and his fist down. In other words, he was trying to gauge his opponent underneath her chin with this attack.
If this hit, this was going to be one painful scratch attack.

That was a big mistake, as it gave the pokemon a warning as she jumps backwards from his clamping jaws. Her fist glowed lightly with power as she would attack again with Focus punch as her backwards movement seemed to perfectly align his jaw ...with where her fist would be in her mind. Her eyes shone with that thought ....as she made her attack.
If she hit ...she was literally going to knock that Growlithe out of his feet.

Choco ran at the Sandshrew at full speed to get in the bite. He was going to get revenge for the last focus punch that she threw at him.

[Does burn still do 2 damage or half due to resistance? Also, does that mean 2 damage every full turn or every attack AND defense turn?]
Nick's eyes widened as he saw what happened. How foolish! That little chimp had more fight than first thought! "Arthur, we'll end this as quickly as possible! No need to drag this out with you in that condition! Focus purely on taking that Pansear down!"
Arthur wobbled. It wasn't exactly sure what occurred just now, but it HURT. The chimp hit harder than ever and he felt severely weakened. He listened to Nick's words, but knew this would only get worse before getting better. Arthur was weary, not sure what the best course of action would be, so he just dashed towards the Pansear with an attempt to Bind it, hoping for the best.

Those teeth would clamp on her fist as the pokemon stopped her from plowing him anywhere. Her entire pose of being stopped made her smirk ...this looked like something from an action movement though she smiles lightly for just a moment as a trembler of pain ran up her arm.
"Sand"
(Ouch)
She started to mutters one before that steely resolve came back. She glares daggers at her opponent whom had counter-attack her as she prepares to counter-attack back. Pushing forward on her arm, she was going to ram it down the pokemon's throat ...quite literally as she pushes her balance more and more forwards. Her focus simply on the outcoming as her claw started to glow again.

The Pansear's eyes would glint, even as the Onix was plowing straight at him. A grin would spread across the Pokemon's mouth as he suddenly leaped into the air above the Onix. The Pansear would spin several times, descend, push off against the Onix's body with one paw, then end up at the rock-types back. Arthur's attack had failed miserably...even somewhat embarrassingly.
">Can you catch the Comet?<" He chuckled, still grinning from ear to ear. Not even waiting for the reply, the Pansear opened one of his hands ">Like the power of the sun in the palm of my hand...<" He balled that hand into a fist, causing it to instantly ignite ">...worlds will burn beneath a blazing inferno!<"
Pivoting the Pansear took off like a shot. This time he didn't try anything fancy, he just raced straight for his opponents side. He was going to hammer the Onix further with another Fire Punch!

Arthur 's happy attitude was fading as he began to focus intently on his opponent. This would not be the end of him. He was going to get through this chimp! He moved quickly to the side to avoid being hit.
