Marael's eyes lit up as Caranthir spoke to her in her language. She gave him a nod in return, but didn't reply other than to give him a wide smile. They weren't here for her, so she kept her thoughts to herself for the moment and let the humans take the forefront. She watched the proceedings carefully, just in case.

((Anyways by now I had expected the Elder to lead the whole group to the training arena. (all up to the elder of course) However I would like to start getting some magic worked in. I thought that may be interesting....
Of course Lae and Haylin need to wake up first.... I'll get to that.
Oh and btw we have a new girl entering soon....seems like she'll be of some energetic help to us all. She will be another student, you can look at her profile on the first page. Looks very promising.^^ *Excited*
Now to post!))

((Quickly done I will add some later...anyways I have to go...sorry.))
Peacefully streatching and sitting up Haylin blinked the sleep out of her eyes and took in the world around her. It was empty, the tree room was desolate and everyone had left seemingly except for Lae. Haylin had noticed the elf still sleeping on her tiny bed dreaming away. Yawning and cracking her back she slowly rised out of her little pallet and tip-toed quitely over to the small window that faced the back. Blinking a few times she realized with great wonder that both the suns really were already almost at their peak for the day. The first one reaching the high noon. Looking back at Lae Haylin build up silent courage and walked to the sleeping elfs side.
Gawd, I hate waking up people...certainly elves arn't an exception......
With that thought Haylin in a sweet voice called out to Lae "Lae, Lae I really think its time to get up....I mean everyones gone...."
Hearing her own voice Lae rolled over to see the human Haylin leaning over the side of her bed. Flinching at first, then realizing really who the girl was she calmed down. Lae knew for a fact her eyes turned a gastly yellow of fear for a second. Sighing, she sat up and asked the girl,
"Heerrmmm, what did you just...Saaa..a hOOmmm."
The ending disrupted by a horrible yawn. Looking aroud Lae suddanly noticed that everyone else was gone. Shoot. Thinking on that matter, she already knew what Haylin had said.
"I said that everyone is gone." Haylin replied happy to know that at least someone was on her side.
"You know I'm not sure where they all went..I mean I just woke up..."
Yawning yet again Lae shifted out of bed and streatched.
"I do recongize the fact that everyone is missing. However I bet they are either outside, or left a note saying where they went. It however, does bother me that they just left you and me here on our own."
You know I bet the couldn't wake me up.....crap there goes another harsh strike for being such a deep sleeper.
Going to the front window Lae noticed the note in the interesting boulder that now sat in her fron yard. It stated,
Dearest Lae,
When you and your other guest awake, please take them to the clearing near the waterfall. You know which one.
Sincerly yours,
Ichnel

"Have you heard...?"
"Yes I.."
"Amazing, isn't...?"
"And here...thought...were just..."
Rylee sighed, rubbing her bandaged clad temples as she tried to block out the ramblings of the elves around her. Elves were wonderful beings, really, most were very kind and thoughtful and she admired them. But in all honesty, their abilities to spread news, dare she say gossip, were only rivaled by her old school mates.
She gave a wan smile...Old school mates.
A breif prickle of unhappiness poked at the back of her mind. It had been a very long time since she had seen her old friends. At least two years since she had mistakenly opened that cursed door and fallen into this exotic world.
She wondered briefly if they even thought about her anymore, she certainly thought about them quite a bit. With a shake of her head, Rylee pushed the unnecessary contemplation away and focussed on what she was supposed to do for the day.
"Oh, right, groceries." She whispered to herself as she wondered through the streets towards the market, her boot clad feet making small, soft pats on the cobbled walkway. As she walked, Rylee unconsciously adjusted the bandages that wrapped around her temples, ears and left eye. There wasn't really anything wrong with her eye, but the bandages were the only things keeping her identity as a human from the elven masses and she needed at least one reasonable excuse to wear them. And being supposedly blind in one eye worked rather well.
Making sure that none of her blond hair became tangled in her gloves as she adjusted the black silk wrappings, Rylee focussed her attention on a stand selling fruit, letting the basket she had settled in the crook of her elbow fall to her hand. She smiled lightly and hurried over to the stand, taking a look at the fine display of produce. With a grin to the shopkeeper she pointed to some Starberries.
"Can I get one dozen Starberries, two heads of Ice Lettuce, two Moonsquash and four Marillaow please?" she asked softly with a smile, handing the elf a few coins and the basket which he kindly held out his hand for. The man smiled and quickly set upon gathering her requests before placing them in her basket and handing it back to her.
"Good day to you Miss," he said. She grinned at him and turned back to the street, rumaging through her newly bought produce and taking a Starberry between her fingers. She plopped one of the succulent morsels into her mouth and began walking down the street in time to hear...
"Humans here...believe it?" a voice was heard over the babble of the crowd, slightly broken from all the noise of the marketplace.
"Yes...heard...Ichnel..." Came another broken voice.
Rylee froze, her jaw dropping and the Starberry she had been eating almost falling out of her mouth.
'H-humans? Other humans? H-here?' She thought wildly, the basket in her hands nearly falling to the grounds as she swung around to look for the people who had spoken. Unfortunately, like with any crowd, the milling of the populace around her hid any trace of the people who had just spoken. She swallowed thickly and tightened the grip on her basket, making sure to close her jaw as she was at it.
Shaking, she turned in the direction of her home, trying to convince herself that what she had heard was nothing more than wishful thinking.
"It was nothing. It was nothing. It was nothing." She muttered to herself, her knuckles turning white from her grip on the whicker container in her hands. She couldn't let herself get her hopes up, she had been there way to many times before and it only led to disappointment. However, her body refused to move, despite her wishes to go home.
Rylee licked her lips and spun on her heel.
'Ichnel...? Ichnel...? Oh I know him. He's that famous dark elf gardener who fights for Bredia. A quick trip to see Ichnel couldn't hurt, could it? Besides it never hurts to learn something new about growing plants.' She rationalized to herself as she quickly jogged her way in the direction she vaguely knew the man's house to be. Her basket held tight to her chest.
(Hi everyone, I'm ecari, or Rylee I guess. I'd just like to say thanks to Destinyswish for accepting me and that if anything I've written is wrong ((I'm not entirely sure where everyone is...I've tried to keep up but I think I've missed a few things here and there)) then could someone please tell me so I can fix it? Thanks, I'm really looking forward to this xD)(Oh and I'm sorry that this is so long...>> hehe... I tend to take things and start running madly with them... I'll make sure not to make them so long in the future... anywho thanks a bunch biggrin )

((Yes!! More people!! I'm so excited!! Glad to meet you, Rylee! (I really like that name, so I think I'll call you Rylee, if that's okay.) Anywho, I'm sure we're all glad to have you! Hopefully this will get the rp moving a little faster again. The group is sort of in the forest. Near Ichnel's house, but closer to Lae's or Emmia's homes. Which would be a random clearing in the middle of those locations. Just go for the clearing and really its no big deal if you get there from Ichnel's house or the market. We're not all that strict about direct location. If you have any questions, just ask, any one of us would be more than willing to answer.))

Clearing next to the waterfall? Thats where the elder wanted to...meet the humans.....oh...right. Haylin, hasn't met him yet, and shes of air. Interesting.
Looking over her shoulder she looked at the girl and thought of her unsual Magick. Elves of Air were actually quite uncommon in Bredia. Also knowing the Elder, he'll want first pick to teach this girl all he knows. Lucky.
If she only knew. What really she is actually capable of with all that Air magic gleaming within her.
She had watched the Elder at work only a few times. Yet that however was enough to greatly impress her. It was not uncommon to see an elf with a ball of fire in their hands or even collecting rain from the clouds. Yet it was another sight altogether when you see someone jumping higher than the trees, or even floating from place to place. Smiling to herself, she watched Haylin as she was folding the blanket she had slept with. However, when Haylin had caught her looking she turned her head to the door and said,
"They want us to meet with them at the clearing, or at least I'm sure they will still be there. If your ready I'd like to set out, its really not far from here."
Nodding her head as to Haylin should follow, she opened the front door and held it open for Haylin to pass through before closeing it.
Haylin thought about seeing the group again and was suprised to realize that she was nervous. She hoped they weren't mad at Lae and her for sleeping in this morning.
Then again they really didn't know that it takes my little brother pulling me out of bed every morning for me just to get to school on time. Man, does he love doing that....
At the thought of her annoying little brother came the fact that her family wasn't here, she really may not even see them again. Ever. Shaking the sad thought out of her head she looked on up to the beautiful trees. This morning they were fantastic with green full leaves and many diffrent colored birds singing to the world. They fluttered from branch to branch, collecting food and exploring. Shifting her mind back to the present she looked at Lae ahead gracefully walking along, never making a sound. She however, crunched along ending up snapping twigs and crushing fallen leaves. Right when she started to work on lightly tip-toeing the ground, Lae had made a sharp turn into a little gap in the trees and disappeared with a flash of red hair.
Hurring to catch up she saw that a little clearing was surrounded by close nit trees, and had a beautiful quaint waterfall nearby. What really captured her attention was that the whole group was nearby along with an entergetic looking old Elf. Just looking at the elf she knew he held high wisdom and must be well.....quite old.
Catching up to Lae she, and her finally rejoined the group. A nice sense of acceptance washed over her, and she knew that this wierd mismatched group would now be her new family away from home.

It was almost too much for Rylee not to just leap into a dead run as she walked swiftly through the streets towards Ichnel's home. The hope she was trying to smother of maybe being able to find some one else of her own kind was nearly too much to handle as well but she couldn't risk the chance of not investigating this rumour and losing the closest chance of human contact she had had in years. In fact this was the nearest she had ever come to finding other humans.
She let out a soft self-depreciating laugh. A single rumour, the best information she had come across in years. She thought about that for a moment. Actually, it was probably the only infomation she had ever found besides the myths she had read about while studying at the Conversation Tree.
Which was rather sad to say the least.
Snaking her way through the streets, Rylee made sure to keep a firm hold on her basket as she manuevered around nearby eves. It wouldn't do for her groceries to fall and become soiled now would it? As she passed, the exuberant whispers of legends and disbelief made their way to her ears. A thought struck her.
'Myths, all that talk about myths was refering to the humans that are supposed to be here!' She thought excitedly before mentally smacking herself for not listening earlier. Gods above, she could have heard about this hours before if she had listened. She frowned, well this was going to be the last time she invoked the powers of Selective Hearing to block out the rambling masses...
Well maybe the last time.
She had to grin, her Mum had always complained about her Selective Hearing. The smile died on her face and she shied away from the thoughts of her Mum. It wouldn't be any use to think of her now. Rylee, instead, broke into a jog, swerving around the other occupants of the street who gave her odd looks as she passed.
After a while at keeping a steady pace, Rylee neared the edge of the Market and the beginnings of elven homes. She managed to spy the large greenhouse off in the distance, signifying the position of Ichnel's home, and leaped into a run, springing past clearings and other homes as she went. As she ran, Rylee spied a waterfall off to her side. It was a fair ways away and where a group of, she assumed to be, elves gathered. She shrugged, it wasn't like it was uncommon for elves to congregate in random clearings. Rylee sped on.
