nick held the shrieking infant. he went into the kitchen and found a small syringe bringing it into alices room. he sat it on their dresser to show them when they were done how to feed. he looked to hollis.
" i love you..." he said shakily
Alice sank into the water. she looked up to leon.
"did it die?" she asked weakly. her eyes still sunken in. the water turned pink then red as the blood was washed from her body.

Hollis kissed nick's forehead lightly, "I love you, too" She sighed, looking at the tiny baby.

"No" Leon told her gently. "He is still alive but..." He hesitated "There is a chance he will die" his ears and tail drooped. He really wanted this child to live. His sword necklace gleemed slightly in the light of the bathroom.

"poor alice..." he whispered looking down at the silver eyes lycan in his hand. he rocked the tiny child in his hand. being gentle as he could.
jackllyn got up out of her crib rubbing her eyes.
"mommy screamed...i woke up.." she said looking up at hollis.

Leon heard Jacklyn. He knew she must be worried. He looked to Alice. He made sure she didn't sink into the bloody water.

Hollis bit her bottom lip, Mara skipped the toddler stage..
"It's okay. she's okay now. Why don't you go over the my room and play with Mara. " She suggested.
Mara was holding the crying Layla and rocking her, knowing her parents were busy.

Alice looked at him
"he? we have a boy?" she asked hope rising in her voice as her rose necklace was washed of its blood. which had gotten all over her. she managed to stand getting out shakily wrapping herself in a towel. she managed to walk back and looked at the baby in nicks hand. her eyes growing wide.

"holly ill let you get out of here if you want. all i need to do is show them how to feed him." he sid softly kissing her. he continued to hold the tiny infant in his hand

jacklyn nodded and walked over to mara looking at layla.
"she is beautiful" she said softly staring at the babies eyes.

Hollis nodded and walked out. She held her flat stomach, picturing herself in six months. She walked into her room and smiled at Mara, "I'm sorry, dear." She said, taking Layla from her. She rocked her gently in her arms and walked into the nursery. She breast fed her slowly, and then changed her. She put her in a yellow onesy and laid her in the glider.
Mara nodded at Jacklyn, "Yes." She said, looking down at her. Mara smiled and walked to the fridge, getting a juice for her and Jacklyn.

Leon followed Alice out of the bathroom. He looked at the small chid in Nick's hand. He put his arm around Alice. He wanted to do anything to keep this child alive. He took off his necklace and held it in his hand.

it took everything in alice not to grab his little body. she slowly walked over,
" how do we feed him?" she asked.
" first off alice, he needs to stay clean. infection will be what claims him this early. rinse him off with warm water every time he pees or soils himself. dress him in light cotton but wrap him up in a blanket....you have to feed him through a syringe, but he will only eat a quarter of an ounce, breast milk only. nothing else or he could die." nick said and gently handed the baby over to alice.
Alice held the tiny boy in her hands.she looked ot the bed.
"leon could you change the bed so i can lay down.I feel faint.." she said softly sitting in a rocker in the corner still in a towel. she held her tiny infant in her hand. tears in her eyes.

Leon changed all the sheets all while holding his necklace. He put his necklace back on. He put clean sheets on the bed. "I'll be back okay Alice." Leon told her. He kissed her forehead and walked out of the room heading for the lobby. He soon walked out of the inn and into the forest.

Hollis smiled at the girl and hugged her. "I'm okay..just a rough day" she said, sitting on the couch.
Mara handed jacklyn a doll.
