"Sorry, I'm more of a Holyhead Harpies kinda girl," Franki said to him. Franki grabs her bag from under her seat and grabbed a Acid Pop. She drinks some of her Butterbeer, then unwrapped her Acid Pop and put it in her mouth. "So, how did you find out where we were?" Franki asked James curiously.

"My spider-senses started tingling," James said, quoting this odd comic book he had seen in a muggle shop. It was quite amusing to see a young man in red spandex that acted like a spider.
((Was spiderman around in the 70s?))

[Yep. I think he's been around since the 60's.]
Sirius smirked, and said cockily, "I only want one!" Sirius could feel the heat coming off of Melony from blushing so hard. "Appleby Arrows!" He tried to make an arrow with his hands.

"Oh, so you've read Spiderman. Excellent choice," Franki said, all-knowing. Her father had bought her Spiderman comics when she was young and she had read all of them several times.

"What's a spiderman?" James asked confusedly, his wizard-ness making itself particularly pronounced today.
"I never really liked comics much," Sunrise said with a shrug. "Although I think Dean used to read X-Men..." Her heart flooded with loss again. "But let's not think about that now," she added hastily. "I'm here to cheer up, not mope."

Sirius and Melony looked confused, very confused. Melony asked first. "Spider Man? X-Men? What?! Who would want to be a spider?"

"They're these Muggle devices called Comic Books," Sunrise explained. "Most of them are about Muggles with super-human powers, like a man who has characteristics of a spider or mutants. But there are other shorter and funnier comic strips in the Muggle Newspaper. Most people call them the funnies or funny papers. and there are these Japanese books called Manga ((in the 70s??)) that you read from back to front instead. Those are odd and I can never follow the storylines."
James stared at Sunrise blankly. "You lost me at Muggle devices."
Sunrise laughed. "It's mostly just forty-year-old men living out their fantasies of being adored by hot women in skimpy spandex tights."

"Oh I know what you're talking about...that horribly offensive one with the dumb muggle?" Sunrise asked thoughtfully, also lost for the title.
"Yeah! Wasn't it like, Merv the moronic Muggle or something like that?" James asked confusedly. "I haven't read it since I was five, so I can't remember."

Sirius jumped up and down in his seat in excitement. "Thats the one! I loved those!" He stopped jumping up and down when a pair of twin girls passed by, causing him to wink at them and recieve a blow from Melony.

"Merv the Moronic Muggle?" Franki asked. "I've never heard of that one. No, Spiderman and X-Men are muggle comics. They're superheros. They go around saving the world from disaster, that kind of thing," Franki said intelligently. She smiled at everyone, feeling proud of herself for knowing the muggle comics.

"Well, I prefer stimulating novels to comic books anyway," Sunrise said with a shrug, suddenly wishing Remus were around to hear her say something intellectual. She shook her head and whipped out one of her many purchased chocolate bars, offering a piece to the table in general before taking a large bite.
"Very ladylike," James commented dryly.
"I know, thanks," Sunrise said sarcastically with her mouth full. "It's not like I care. Well I would if it were someone I liked, like Rem--...I've said too much."

((Phew! You people have been typing!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo close to finishing Ella Enchanted!!))
Lily covered a snort when Sunrise almost let it slip that she liked Remus. Butter beer slopped down her chin. She blushed. "Whoops," she said, almost apolajecticly.
((I SAW SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE LAST NIGHT!! And I was totally on a sugar rush, and the effects haven't worn off. :XP smile )
