Watching him, she teared a little. It hurt, hearing him say her name like that, as if he was in so much pain without her... Yet she was right there.
I'm right here, Hiruma, and I can't do a damn thing about it.

The door opened and Maru walked in, pretending to be just a regular shinobi. He looked around and out the door before he walked over to Akina.
"Don't move...you will only make your injuries worse"
He slowly began setting her out laying on her back as to minimize the pressure on any one part of her body.

Watching this man, Akina kept herself calm, watching his emotions.
This man... he's going to help me? Why?
"Wh... Why..?"
She asked in a shaky voice, as her body still shook, before she started to cough a little.

He continued to look at her wounds as he pulled out a small canteen.
"here have some water"
He lifter her mask just enough to pour a little in her mouth. Replacing her mask , he looked back at the door.

Just allowing him to help, she swallowed the cold, refreshing liquid, knowing that he was really helping her... She didn't bother to question him...
She coughed a little more.

As he finished his words, footsteps were heard outside the door. He stood quickly and took a few steps away.
Kabuto returned to the room, looking at the two captives. Pondering what torture he would subject them too next.
(tomorrow....tomorrow we will do more....i have some great things in store for them)

Just lying there, Akina didn't move, didn't say anything. She just wanted to get out of here, wanted to get Hiruma out of this mess...

Kabuto motioned everyone out of the room as he himself finally left. He locked the door behind him.
Hiruma was slowly regaining his wits. Not sure what had exactly gone on he stared around the room and then at Ai. Now remembering he looked at the injuries he could see wondering how bad she was really doing.

Hiruma watched as she fell asleep. His beating had been nothing compared to hers. He would not blame her for wanting to quit ANBU after this experience. Knowing he needed rest as well, he closed his eyes and thought of Akina as he drifted to sleep.

She slept heavily, because of the lack of sleep previously, and the beating and sickness beginning to overwhelm her.

The door unlocked and all of the shinobi came into the room, pulling with them a wire spiderweb. They placed it along the wall and turned to the captives.
"Grab him....strap him up"
The shinobi walked over to Hiruma taking hold of him and tying him to the web.
What the hell is this....what is next in this line of tortures.

Kabuto motioned for one of the shinobi who stepped forward. He smiled as he placed his hands on the metal frame. He transfered electricity from his hands into the wire, ssending shocks through hiruma's body.
Hiruma convulsed as he was shocked. not being able to control his muscles as he tensed
