Jewlet looked at Grant and nodded her head. She moved out of the way quickly. "I'll see if I can find another way in." She told him before she took off. She was quick in the dress even thought it was quite heavy. She then stopped at an other door but had not luck. She curse in her head as she banged on the door. "Open..." She hissed not liking the sudden event.

By now anyone who was close to the doors were trying their best to pull it open. Niro, along with the other two guards, were pulling the handle with all their might. Finally, he stepped back a bit whipping the sweat from his brow. "No use, the blasted door won't open." Rubbing the back of his head, he wonder how they were going to get out of this one. He looked up at the windows. Though they were big enough to fit through, the height was too far to reach. That's when he heard the muffled bellow of Grant. Niro eyes lite up, "For once I'm glad to hear that yell." He ran up to the door and hollered, "Captain, is that you! It's me Niro! We're trying our best to open the door, but the darn thing won't move!" He turn around to see how the royal family were. "They're ok, but I don't see the princess nor the eldest and youngest prince!"

Grant slammed into the door as hard as he could. A sharp pain ran though his body from the impact yet he didn't show it. That is when he heard a voice. "Niro? Find the royal family and bring them to this door" Grant looked to the guards who he had called over. "Find a way in!" Grant saw Jewlet running off. That's my girl Grant though with a smirk. Grant then took out his two swords and connected them together before sticking one end in the gap between the door. Grabbing the opposite end, making sure not to cut himself, and started to try and pry the door open.

"Will do Captain!" He quickly spun around to the massive crowd behind him. Everyone was pushing and shoving their way through each other. Man, this is worst then a pig pen...that or trying to herd sheep. Looking over where the remaining royal family were, he tried to yell over to the other guards. But to his dismay, the crowd was making so much noise nobody could hear him. For the love of god, for high brow people they act no better then cattle. Learning from his father, he did what any farmer would do. Niro inheld a luge full of air and let out a high pitch whistle. Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing. "You guards," he pointed over where the royal family were, "Bring the Royal family over here." One of the guards, Brutus again, raised his voice. " Why should we listen to a runt like you!" Several people yelled in agreement. By now, Niro was fuming from his ears. Not even the most stubborn mule was this difficult to deal with. "Because Grant Asked For Them! And If You Cared At All About Your Duty, You Would Stop Fussing Like A b***h And Get Your Butt Over Here. Or Do You Want Me To Drop Kick You Ignorant a** Again!" After a few seconds of silents, Niro put a hand to his mouth. Wow....where did that come from. But it did work, the guards wasted no time in ushering the royal family to the door.

(guess that's my cue, I was thinking of keeping one of them out, but I'm fine with this ^^)
"Please calm down, I am certain that everything shall be alright," Prince Ric spoke up from his table as the nobles around him seemed to scramble, but in the chaos, his words seemed to be lost, "Cyrith, I need to get to father, you are the master of escape, do you know any way out of here."
The younger Prince simply shook his head, "My forte usually involves unlocked doors."
As the soon to be king attempted to scan the darkened crowd, two guards approached the royals, "Excuse me your majesties, Captain Grant requests your presences."
The brothers silently nodded to one another and followed in suit to a nearby door. The guards pushed away the crowd one by one until at long last they arrived at the door, "Kitty, are you there?"

Alexander continued closing the door when the flames -including the fireplace- went out in an instant. From where Alexander was, he could hear commotion from the Great Hall and only from there. From his life experiences, Alexander could only guess at what was going on, but he knew it was magic based at least. Alexander couldn't just sneak off now with what was going on: he needed to wake Henna. Alexander opened the door again to Henna's room and ran to Henna, immediately speaking in order to wake her up.
"Henna! Something is wrong! Wake Up!"
There were two things wrong at the moment, maybe even three: The first was that magic had blacked out the castle and caused maybe some other effects. Secondly, this was merely a diversion or some magic natural event caused by someone or something. Third, Alexander really had to go to the bathroom and he didn't know where the upstairs bathroom was; he needed Henna for that. If this was really a man-made magical occurrence, they could both be in danger.

One man stood outside of the door while the rest of the guests and servants were locked behind it. This was a servant jsut liek any other; he had a standard tuxedo that gave him a distignished apeaernece and a small moustache that jsut scream he was butler material. This mna always seemed to have his eyes clsoed or only partly opened and was considered the best servant at the castle in terms of effinciency and manners; he got the job done.
"Oh dear, it seems the doors are locked...What will I do with this wine?"
The man simply stood there in front of the door holding a tray full of wine glasses filled to the appropriate amount; the man measured it precisely. Along with the man were two children: one was a bit chunky, wore a dirty brown robe, and was quite tall for a child with brown hair and eyes. The boy was also picking his nose with his right index finger to the left nostril. With the boy was a little girl who wore a dirty white robe with red hair and hazel eyes, she was of average height. The two looked worried as the man in front of them tried to open the door and was unsuccessful.
"Mister?"
The little girl asked with great concern in her voice; she was concerned on what was happening.
"Why won't the door open? Is everything going to be okay?"
The servant could only stare at the little girl with a unmoving face; it was like he had no emotion at all, but he at least responded.
"It seems we were locked out of the facilities, we must wait and proper order will be granted soon...Hopefully..."
The chunky kid just kept picking his nose and was far too worried about what was in there then what was in the Great Hall or why it was even locked; there was something up there. The little girl only stared at her friend with disgust, but not as much as you expect since the little girl was use to seeing him do that.

Grant ignored the 'kitty' comment. "Good. your ok. Stay by this door as I'm working my way in as we speak." Grant said giving another yank on his sword to try and pry the door open. "How are things in there? Is everyone ok?" Grant asked. Pulling out his swords Grant set them aside and turned to a few guards. "Get over here! And bring two pole axes." Grant commanded.

"About as well as one would expect. The people are panicking," Prince Ric spoke to the doors after pushing away his snickering younger brother. As he leaned against the door, feeling none of the pressure he was certain was placed upon it, a thought entered the Prince's mind, "I believe that this may be the result of an enchantment of sorts, your efforts might be put to better use in the royal archives."

"And while your at it Captain, look up green glowing rooms." Niro said as he stared at the floor of the banquet hall. The floor slowly faded into a greenish glow that covered the whole floor. Some stared in wonder, other screech with terror as the glow seem to be creeping up the walls. He had to admit, this was a strange occurrence. Though by the look of it, nobody was hurt by the light. So they were safe...for now. Niro turn back to the door, "Just a suggestion, of course."
