The tip of the cutlass stabbed the barrel. It went in so deep, that Joe saw it emerge from the other side. "Woah, did I do that?" Joe asked himself, hoping no one else would hear. "Man.....I am so freaking cool!" Joe yelled as he pulled the sword out of the barrel. He then started jumping up and down, nearly letting his blade fly out of his hands. I'm really on my way to becoming a great swordsman. Wait until I show Kaien later! Joe thought to himself. Joe had no intent on stopping his training though!

Joe started to wonder if there was a technique where he would just swing his blade randomly at the enemy. Well, either way, that was what he was going to try. Joe looked around. I might need some more barrels.... He thought quietly. He grabbed a few barrels and lined them up in a straight line. "This should be enough." He thought out loud. He was eager to use a new technique. He quickly ran in front of the line of barrels, and then imagined them as an enemy.

Joe then took a deep breath. He imagined the barrels as an enemy that he would knock back with each swing of his cutlass. Joe exhaled and ran towards the barrels. He used pirate cut and swung his sword from left to right at a barrel. It broke into pieces, but Joe imagined the enemy just being knocked back. He then took another step forward. He slashed again, but this time, from right to left. That barrel shattered into a bunch of pieces as well.

Joe then repeated the pattern he just used, slicing from right to left, then left to right. Joe imagined this knocking back the opponent. with each swing of the cutlass, he stepped forward so he could hit the next helpless barrel. He then switched up his pattern. He slashed up, destroying a barrel, and then down, destroying one more. In his mind, Joe was winning against the enemy. He then stepped forward and repeated the pattern again.

Joe was starting to get the hang of this, even though the enemy wouldn't just sit there and let him attack like this, but it was a start. Joe then repeated the pattern he just did over again. Swinging up to down, then down to up. He destroyed all the barrels that stood in his way. They never even stood a chance. There was pieces of wood scattered all around Joe. It looked as if a storm hit Misty Peak.

Joe shifted to the pattern he used before. Left to right, then right to left. He soon ran out of barrels. "Well, that was fun." Joe said to himself. "Maybe I should get out of here before some one tells me to clean this up!" Joe said to himself, putting his cutlass away. I wonder where else I could train. Joe thought to himself. Joe started off to his next destination.

Yasopp was sleeping on a bench in town, a hand poked his stomach. Yasopp quickly got up alarmed and was ready to punch whoever dared to touch him but before he could react a huge grin came over his face as he saw it was his old pupil Shō. Shō began to pat Yasopp's shoulder trying to calm him down. "I bet you didn't expect to see me so huh? What you thought I was going to die like some sad dog in South Blue, not a chance, Mmm." Yasopp laughed really loud patting Shō on his shoulder right back at him, he couldn't believe this kid had the guts to actually go to South Blue himself in search for training, than once he was done come back as if nothing had happened this was perfect. Yasopp was actually glad Shō made it back alive, now he could teach him even more. Before they went into training mode they started to talk about the time Shō had in South Blue.

Shō explained to Yasopp as soon as he made it to South Blue there was another Pirate crew, he explained what the first guy looked like and how he attacked him because he confused Shō with some other guy that must of injured the woman he was speaking to. Yasopp rubbed his chin than realized exactly who he was talking about, when Shō described what the captain looked like to Yasopp this only meant one thing. The pirate crew that Shō had met was the Forte Pirates! Yasopp was now convinced that this boy really did have Guts, he only left them with his name after all and he didn't even show any sign that he wanted to join up with their crew. "Yes I think your right Yasopp sensei, that sounds like them, so that shadow he was able to control, your telling me that was a Devil Fruit's doing, Mmm!?!"

Yasopp nodded, it only meant one thing the Devil Fruit! Shō started to ponder, he began to ask Yasopp all sorts of different questions that had to do with the Devil Fruit. He was starting to get interested. "That fruit sounds amazing, yeah. But on that point on not being able to swim would be troublesome, Mmm. Would you give up your ability to swim to have the power of the Devil fruit sensei, Mmm?" Yasopp smirked he crossed his arms not really wanting to answer the question, if he had said yes the boy would most definately run back to his boat and search for the fruit. But if he said no he wouldn't decide on his own if he wanted to get the fruit. Yasopp spoke out saying that it was his choice, it shouldn't matter what Yasopp thought of the fruit.

Shō smirked, but didn't really want to speak about the Devil Fruit anymore. Talking about that cursed fruit would only give him mix emotions and during training that would mess with his shooting. He than told him who he met, Van Auge. Yasopp's eyes widened, he couldn't believe this kid actually met Van Auge and was able to get him to train him, he knew Van Auge he was sort of the selfish type. Yasopp knew that Van probably saw this kids potential and couldn't resist to teach him something, this was the same feelings that were spiraling within Yasopp's head when he first met Shō. Shō continued to have a blank look across his face, the fang that was at the corner of his mouth twitched slightly as he saw Yasopp's reaction to Van Auge. "Are you guys enemies? Or you just know of him, Mmm?" If they were enemies that wouldn't of been good, he knew Yasopp might not want to train him anymore if they were enemies which was presently not good for Shō since he needed to become stronger.

Yasopp explained to him although they weren't enemies they weren't really mates. They were both pirates and not to mention the worlds best Marksmen, Shō was beginning to realize they were probably more rivals than anything else. It was sort of exciting to hear this, Shō had never really had a rival of his own or even thought of anyone as his rival. He always had his head in the sky's thinking about the top! Shō continued to speak to Yasopp, he took this time to reach in his black coat taking out his Pistol, he began to reload bullets into the pistol so they could get right to training. But than he realized that this 10 Bullet Combo would need 10 consecutive shots fired so a pistol wouldn't be good. Placing his pistol back inside his black jacket he reached behind him grabbing his rifle it hasn't been a while since he'd been using this old weapon. In South Blue Shō was using his rifle more than his pistol.

It was time for Shō to let Yasopp know what he was dealing with at this point. "So Yasopp sensei you want me to shoot ten consecutive shots towards whatever basically, yeah?" Shō than winked at Yasopp with his left uncovered eye without looking at the opposite bench in the far corner of the street. He shot his rifle towards the left side of him. Ten amazingly fast shots were fired throughout the bench, if their was a person sitting on that bench they would of been in some serious trouble, maybe even critical condition. Yasopp wasn't really impressed since it wasn't really a hard technique to learn, especially for someone of Shō's calibur at this point. Yasopp stood up nodding, he placed his hands in his pocket, they began to walk towards another part of the town which was more concealed with less people around. "Okay sensei, so whats hte next technique you'll be teaching me, Mmm?"

Yasopp began to explain to Shō the next technique he would be learning. At first Shō was a bit surprised but this proved that Yasopp was ready to teach him serious techniques, techniques that could be fetal or even worst. This was the road of the Marksmen that Shō wanted to follow, they were at the end of the town where the forest was beginning to connect. There were training wooden dummy's that were standing up, this was Yasopp's private training grounds but now that Shō would be training with him he could trust the kid with this secluded area, it was the best place to train the boy. "So this next technique is called Sniper Shot, yeah? Sounds a bit intimidating, heh when do we start, Mmm." Shō was starting to get even more excited he couldn't wait.

Yasopp pointed to the training dummy, he explained this technique was mostly the attempt at trying to immobilize the opponent, not really trying to injure them or even trying to kill them. When shooting the Sniper Shot the user wants to immobilize or even slow down the opponent so he or she becomes less of a threat. Even though Marksmen were sharp shooters they were very strategic, he had to be in the right mind he couldn't just enter a battle shooting like crazy and expect to actually come out alive. This wasn't a game, many pirates have already died and Yasopp didn't want the same for this boy. "I understand sensei, yeah." Yasopp smirked than nodded, he pointed towards the training dummy further moving on with his instructions. Shō than reached inside his coat grabbing the handle of his pistol, he slowly began taking it out as a serious look came across his face.

The first shot was fired, the bullet was sent straight through the standing targets foot which placed a smirk across the boy's face. Yasopp shook his head telling Shō that he didn't hit his mark, he was looking for a target to actually be able to immobilize the enemy completely. A foot wound was bad, but it was still able to manage from, it wasn't that bad of a shot though he was a little impressed that Shō was able to target the foot, it was a small target. Yasopp was actually depending on Shō to figure out the best places to immobilize the enemy. If the boy was going to become a pirate he would have to think like a sharp shooter on his own. "A shot that is even better than that, hmm well hitting him in the heart would not only immobilize him but kill you see, Mmm." Yasopp's eyes narrowed, he didn't find that joke amusing to say the least.

Shō's left eye narrowed as he saw that Yasopp wasn't pleased with his behavior, it seemed Shō for once in his life wasn't taking his training seriously to the max. Shō closed his eyes bowing to Yasopp, before Yasopp could forgive him Shō quickly raised his head shooting the training dummy in the area where his knee was. The bullet would of pierced straight through the knee, after a while Yasopp examined the shot and saw the entire leg of the wooden dummy crumble, the training dummy than tilted to the side falling on its shoulder than face. Yasopp smirked as he saw when the boy became serious he actually made progress this was very good. Yasopp than explained their were various spots of the body where the opponent could become immobilized, a marksmen wants to find the pressure points, vital points, fetal area's. There was so much to learn from the Marksmens ways, it was a god thing Yasopp intended to teach Shō everything he needed to know, it least everything Yasopp knew it least.

"I see, so sensei when you were fighting an opponent did you ever let them live but place them in near death condition, Mmm? I mean you are the great marksmen as you say, yeah?" Yasopp began to laugh at the boy's questions, it was as if this kid was now fulfilling Usopps place, but not necessarily. The boy was growing and that was good but they weren't done with training, Yasopp cleared his mind than stood back up pointing towards the training dummy once again. Shō knew immediately what that meant, he aimed his pistol at another Wooden training dummy since the last one keeled over. "Bang" Shō shot the dummy right in the right leg this time which made it keel over to the right side, hitting the other dummy's down. Shō smirked as he was beginning to get the hang of things, his yellow eyes burned with a great determination that was mostly seen in his eyes when he was at his most serious.

Shō continued to fire this time it was two bullets each for both arms, the arms had holes in them but didn't crumble like the legs did. This boy was growing so fast, he probably didn't even realize this. Yasopp was very proud of the boy, every technique he taught the boy he never really had that much of a hard time with any of them. The boy continued to grow, each technique using his insane potential. The terrifying thing was that Yasopp knew he didn't even see the peak of this boy's potential yet, this kid was exactly what it meant to become legendary. Yasopp crossed his arms shaking his head, at that boy's age he definitely wasn't near to this kids level, hell the kid was slowly rising to even his level now. "Hey sensei! Was that good, yeah?!"

Shō sat down realizing he still haven't had anything to place in his stomach since South Blue, he ate with Van Auge but that was still yesterday, this was way to much training for one boy to take and above all of that he was training on an empty stomach. At first he thought by ignoring the hunger would allow him to train better, and more efficient. Without anything in his stomach after learning the technique he was feeling a bit deprived, and sort of on the weak side. "Oi Yasopp sensei, do you have anything to feast upon, Mmm? I'm a bit on the hungry side, yeah." Yasopp reached behind him throwing an apple straight at Shō. It was his natural instinct to wip his hand up shooting the apple, the bullet made the apple explode which also zipped right past Yasopp. Yasopp knew at that point this kid was definitely learning well. He walked up to the boy and gave him the apple for him to eat while laughing at him, the kid actually shot the apple!

Ben Beckman came walking from behind Yasopp, he pushed Yasopp jokingly to the side than smirked. Yasopp explained how he called Ben back so he could teach him a few melee shooting attacks. Shō needed all the training he was going to get so he wasn't going to complain, but he remembered their last meet. Ben looked a lot more sober than before, after all he did pick a random fight with the guy in the bar. Shō shook Ben's hand firmly, he looked directly at his face with that left uncovered yellow eye of his. His fang at the corner of his mouth began to shiver slightly, he couldn't help but feel slightly intimidated around this man, after all this was the pirate that sent him through a window. "Sorry about before, I needed you to teach me something and at the current time I didn't know how to ask you since you were completely drunk, yeah."

Ben Beckman couldn't help but laugh at the boy it seemed as if Shō was scared to be in this large mans presence but Ben couldn't blame him for what he did to him before, he was surprised the kid remembered though. Ben started to examine the boy head to feet, he looked different, a lot stronger which was not bad at all. "So what are you going to teach me, Mmm? I heard you were going to teach me some Melee attacks that had to do with shooting is that true, yeah?" Ben nodded but first things were first, he wanted to continue with rifle attack. Shō might of learned the rifle smack but he didn't know its successor. Ben Beckman began to explain to him what a pressure point was, and where most of them were located. The one that Shō would have to target was the one on the head.

Shō continued to listen to Ben Beckman speak, the man than walked over to one of the training dummy's lifted his rifle up and smashed it upon the head of one of the training dummy's. The hit was terrifying, the handle of the riffle went straight through the wooden head, down the chest and cut the entire wooden human training dummy in half. Shō's left yellow eye widened greatly as his mouth dropped. "Whaaaattt the!! Thats incredible, yeahhh!!!~" This man had so much strength, where Yasopp was lacking in strength this man made it up. It was wonderful how all pirate crew's had people that balanced the entire pirate crew out so that ones weakness could be covered by another crew mates strength. Even though Ben Beckham was stronger Yasopp was quite the better marksmen. "So you want me to give the opponent a knock out blow to the head, that's definitely going to hurt in the morning but I suppose it'll come in handy."

Shō switched from his pistol placing it back in his black coat. He couldn't beat someone over the head and knock them out with a simple pistol it was to small and wasn't strong enough for such damage to be used as a blunt weapon. Shō than reached behind him pulling his rifle out, the boy's yellow eye was locked onto the wooden dummy. He ran at the dummy than smacked it over the head with decent force, it left a slight crack on the wooden head but it wasn't enough to be considered strong. Ben couldn't help but laugh at the boy, he than started to pat Shō on the shoulder trying to act as if him being weak was okay. "Oi, okay I know I'm not that strong, I'll still shoot whoever that doubts me, yeah!" Ben Beckman liked that, this kid had a good spirit, it was one that most didn't see these days, dreams were beginning to grow and reawaken in the hearts of new pirates.

Shō closed his eyes to focus, he stood in front of the wooden training dummy so once he found himself fully focused he could use that to attack. Ben Beckman crossed his arms watching as the boy tried to free his mind of all meaningless thoughts, it was interesting. This was Yasopp's style of fighting so it was most likely the boy would pick up from him, but to do it so similar was quite amusing. Shō than gripped his rifle tight smashing the training dummy across the head which lifted the dummy off its feet sliding to the left side backwards, a knock out indeed. Ben clapped acknowledging Shō's success, he learned the attack. Shō smiled a little, he stood up breathing slightly harder, it seemed that he made Ben a little happy. This was surprising, Shō was so use to his drunk side that he didn't actually think the guy had a "good" side.

Ben Beckman began to walk away waving, was this all he had to give him? Tapping Shō on his shoulder was Yasopp it seemed his old teacher still had some training to give him. Yasopp looked very serious when Shō turned around to look at him. He realized at this point that Yasopp was about to teach him something serious that would need all of Shō's attention. Shō smirked than nodded his head. "Sensei, I'm telling you this now I'm ready to take any challenge you have for him head on, yeah!" Yasopp nodded, he was proud to know that Shō wouldn't give up, he already knew the boy had some spirit but was it enough to tackle this technique down? Shō began to stretch, Yasopp rubbed his chin than realized it was actually time to teach him a technique that would be probably one of his greatest techniques, a marksmens technique.

Shō looked towards Yasopp so he could listen to what he had to say, Yasopp had a stern look across his face as he began to open his mouth. He began to explain to Shō this next technique that he would be teaching the boy couldn't be used always. It was one of those techniques you used against someone that absolutely had to be killed, this techniques name was Head Shot. Shō's left eye widened as he heard the name of it, so it was a single bullet to the head, that was definitely a shot that would end someone's life permanently. "I see, so you weren't playing. Well sensei I'll tell you this you could definitely count on me. I don't believe all pirates have to be bad, but if anyone dares challenge me at the title of the greatest Marksmen, with that technique I'm sure I could feel pretty confident, yeah."

Shō than reached inside his black coat grabbing the handle of his pistol. Slowly raising his hand out of his jacket to aim it in front of him he stuck his tongue out to the opposite corner of his mouth that was opposite to the fang that was on the other corner of his mouth. He was feeling confident, every technique he learned he grew stronger this would be one of the greatest techniques he ever learned he had to get this right. Yasopp than continued to explain the technique to the boy, he explained how even thought shooting someone in the head was a great shot it was also one difficult shot to make, their wasn't a lot of pirates that could just shoot someone in the head from quite the distance without having a couple of try's first. Especially if the opponent is a moving target, accurate aiming would be needed to master such a technique.

Shō nodded his head, picturing everything Yasopp said inside his head so he could understand it fully. Shō closed his eyes taking deep breaths, he knew if he didn't have the resolve to actually kill someone he would never be able to make such a shot. After all even though Shō was quite the pirate he still had never killed someone. A cold breeze began to past, it swayed the boy's wild hair around still covering the entire right side of the boys face, his cloths were also flapping in the wind. It was as if the entire surrounding was pushing the boy forward to move on. This wasn't just to get stronger and learn new techniques, he was guiding his life so he could head to the top where his dreams were. "Okay Yasopp sensei, I've gathered my resolve and I know what I must do at this point."
