She blinked at the little quip and it soon registered as 'heyans'. Leanna nodded. "Yes, as well as other dangers. So, come and get me or another older blood to go with you, until you are old enough to go on your own." The lioness got up and nudged Meribelle. "Now, let's go to the den." She smiled and began the short walk toward home. Her tail trailed behind her slightly, her flakes waving as she walked.

"okay!" SHe nodded again, and then followed in her usual energetic walk. She wondered what other lions this pride helled, what other friends she would make. 'mama would be happy' she though, 'happy that I've found new friends'...

Akira sneezed as the dust tickled his nose "thanks nola" he said looking down at his paws embarrassed that he slipped in front of her

Nola laughed and then nudged his side before bouncing back infront of him. "Tag! Your it!" She giggled and then looked at Xiao. "Don't let him tag you or your it." She then ran behind her mother to make it harder to tag her.

Akira smiled and jumped up after her, he ran towards her and her mother running around to tag her. but the floor ,still being slippery, he slid of course and and almost collided with the wall , but he caught him self and ran and tagged nola back "gotcha!" he said running

Nola sueaked a little when she was tagged and then got up to chase after the other two cubs.
Adelle watched amused and content to see her child so happy. She ate a little of the food that Ling had offered her and thought of what to do next. She was not going to give up her daughter again....and she had no other place to go. She looked towards the enterance and made a desiction to speak to Ling once he returned.

Amethyst eyes watched the lone figure of a antelope as it grazed on the Oasis's lush greenery. She lay silent in the tall grass, not moving an inch but to softly breath. The now-teen was honing her hunting skills. As Shaitani's Queen she would have to hunt for the Pride until a Hunt Mistress could be found. At one time she had hoped to attain that rank in Ling's Pride, but the black-and-white puff was getting on her nerves. With his glares to her mate, he was lucky she hadn't taken a swipe at him.
He'd get his when Shaitani was old enough.
The antelope moved towards the lake, the white tail flicking. The Red Dragon followed, letting her muzzle part the grasses around her. It was almost a ticklish sensation as they slid over her body. She moved into position downwind, nostrils flaring as the scent of the beast floated to her. Kun Yi had missed hunting, no longer being required to do so after being forced to stay in the Pride.
The lioness waited until the prey looked away from the water, to the west. She exploded from the grass, a whirlwind of red, black and white fangs. The antelope got only a few feet before those long canines sank into it's neck. A braying call escaped as it's windpipes were crushed and legs gave it. The call turned into a bleet then a shuddering gasp before life passed from it's bodies.

Shaitani roamd the grasslands aimlesly, having nothing to do since Kun Yi seemed to have disappeared. Poking through the terrain, he realized he had never really explored the pride, save for the desert and the path to it.
A small rodent scurried over his forepaw, and he lookd down at it distastefully. He watched it skitter off, disappearing into the grass, contemplating if he should chase after it. Although it was long gone, he decided to leave it be.
Bored once more, he continued through the grasslands, flakes bobbing with every step he took through the long grasses. At one point a blade of grass tickled his nose, causing him to sneeze quietly. He wrinkled his nose at it, batting it away with annoyance, and continued through the grassland, eventually turning to create a loop back to the cave.

Her jaws throbbed and her body shook from the hunt. She was proud of herself. Alone, a teen and bringing down a antelope alone? That was good in her books. She rested for a while, keeping a watchful eye on the carcass.
Minutes later she had the antelope draped over her back as she made her way back to the Pride. As she walked the pathes of the Lands, she caught Shaitani's spicy scent. A purr emanated from her throat unconsciously as she thought about him. He was proud, strong and handsome. Made her knees all watery.
Entering the area of the cave, she let loose a small roar. She had brought food for all.

Shaitani purred at the sound of Kun Yi's roar, picking up his pace slightly. He now realized that he was famished, and excited that there would be food waiting at the cave.
He was also slightly surprised that he heard only one roar, and nothing of the hunt. Had Kun Yi realy gone out on her own? Curious, he began jogging to see exactly what had happened.

Akira ran past xiao and hid behind a large rock keeping completely silent. his gray coat matching with the rocks so it was hard to see him 'she'll never find me here!' he thought to himself

((Soooo sorry about this delayed post... I got grounded.... -.-; wink )
Xiao sat outside the cave, curious as to what had been going. It seemed that she had dazed off for quite some time and missed alot. "Huh?" She questioned, looking around, quite confused.

Leanna appeared in the cave, her tail waving slightly. Settling down near the entrance, she left enough room so the cub could come inside. The others were playing a game a tag. Leanna wondered if they would let Meribelle play with her. Leanna soon got a faraway look in her eyes becoming slightly distant from the world. She was caught up in deep thought which she didn't know why. The lioness didn't even know what dragged her into her meditative state.

Kun Yi grumbled under her breath as she stopped in front of the cave. "Food." She let the antelope drop from her back. The teen nuzzled her sister and went to the side of the cave, resting in the shadows.
