Roka, your profile tickles me to death! Man, I love it, that she was looking for Cedric but just missed him on his return it seems. He's back home and she's in Feretris. IRONY.
Dema, your character is being sent to the character that Roka just posted in case that wasn't clear. heart You two can start your own thread to RP him meeting Vania. Vania would know that, if Fabel lied to a slave about her wanting the slave to come to her room, then something was up and she'd better play along. Or she could be dense and miss that. mrgreen

Tesunie, I remember agreeing that some of the details of your character's past might change as we RPed. Is there any thing you would currently like to change in your profile based on what we have RPed about his past so far? Also, I'd like you to consider your profile again because I'm confused about where your character would have learned how to use his magic. I'm not saying that he shouldn't have any ability to heal, but I wanted to ask about his relative level of experience. It's great how you've mentioned he's afraid to use it because the women have always told him not to. I think it's likely that his relatives forbid him to use it at all, since he'll be growing up both with women who know about his abilities but also in close quarters with those who do not. Just trying to make sure we're on the same page here, because I'm not sure if Tesunie would be able to heal the man or if he would fail in his attempt. What do you think? What sort of personal price would Tesunie pay whether he succeeded or failed in his attempt? It might be more interesting for your character development if he fails. I'm shooting this wall of text at you partly because you told me that you weren't sure where you wanted to go next in the thread about his past, and partly so I can work around/plan for where we're going next in the present. mrgreen Ain't I a stinker? He is short but agile. Though of Feretris decent, he has the ability to use magic for healing. Personality: Tesunie is considered overly kind and nice by most that know him. He is willing to help anyone that he thinks is in need, even if it ends up hurting himself. History: Born of Feretris decent, he was suppose to be taken and sold, but his mother couldn't bare to see him go. She ended up escaping from the birthing building, carrying her new born child. In her attempt to leave the city, she found the father of the child. The two, though he was a slave, was in true love with each other, and tried to leave together. They got caught while trying to escape the city. His father was taken back into slavery, and his mother was covicted for theivery. Tesunie, lost in the system was bought back into his own family, where they took care of him and sheltered him untill the age of 14. (He didn't get the training most slaves got. He had more of a normal chold hood, though very sucluded. If you hadn't noticed, his family are the ones more for free love.)

Sorry, I thought you know. I updated his profile already, with some Roka_Shotar shoving... I mean, polite goading... ah... help! Yes, help! That's it... mrgreen http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8141679(link to profile... in the thread made for that stuff... mrgreen ) Tesunie has some natural abilities with healing, and has learned the very basics. He could probably heal the person enough that he would live, though not to perfect health. He had some formal training with Minlee, in a few private sessions. Unfortunately, because of the differences in magic types (Minlee not knowing about these differences) Tesunie really didn't learn anything more than his natural abilities. As for the price, well, he would feel bad for disobeying Minlee, as well as he is still thinking he will return home soon, not realizing how far away from home he is, will be, and will become.... As for his past, I am having problems getting the two outside the house, and back on the run. Haven't found the right wording yet... sweatdrop Did I leave anything out? If so, pleas4e let me know and I will answer those questions. Every detail that gets hammered out is more stuff to go into my character profile, making it better and better! blaugh

You should add some of that stuff to your profile, then. 3nodding It's ok that your character has had some experience as long as we both agree that it's fairly laughable. Also, maybe I didn't communicate how very dead this NPC is trying to be. He's bleeding to death. He needs more than just healing; he needs a blood transfusion! mrgreen Sorry to be a stinker, but I think it might do your character some good if he realizes that his delaying the healing may have contributed to the man's death. Sound good? Once the cat's out of the bag, maybe Tesunie will feel like trying his hand on one of the more minorly injured, and in that way he could also have success.
By price, I meant physical or magical, although that was a good answer, too. Something directly related to using his magic while not being familiar with it (or just from using it at all). If he's really going to give his all for this guy, I'd like you to consider him at least being tired after wards or something, eh? lol
As for getting them on the road again, maybe once they get to her relatives, where Tesunie will eventually grow up as a child, a fight with one of them causes her to attempt escaping the country?

Well, as for the loss of blood, Tesunie can't help there, so he would be emotionally hurting at waiting for so long, but also not liking the fact that he disobeyed Minlee. He will feel in a lose lose situation. Once he fails there, he may be depressed, and feeling even more useless! Also, it will take energy to heal, so after healing a few people, he would start to feel tired. If people push him to heal after they know he can, he most likely will, thus slowly pushing himself to exhaustion.

Shall I say the general rule for D&D? As a player, my objective is to stay alive. You, as a form of DM, your wonderful job is to provide us a good story-line, as well as to try and kill us as well. Of course you need to be reasonable when you try to kill us, and give us at least some kind of chance for survival... ninja
I don't mind having a character fail, as long as it is reasonable.
I say the same thing when I fight PvP, in arenas. I don't mind having my character loose, if not die. It is how I loose or get killed that counts for me. As in, if you one hit, fry my butt off... ya, That doesn't count and I will mercilessly live through it (unless it is a storyline thing, but I'm talking my character vs another character, one on one kind of thing).
I also have a tendency to make characters that are too weak, for I like to see them grow into the story, and not just start off strong.
