Smiling at his love-Vernon knew not of the thoughts within his beloved's head, just that he'd do anything she'd ask of him... He had said earlier that he'd dote upon her, which he would. Laying a chaste kiss upon her cheek, Vernon chuckled and said "If you're sure you don't need my help, I am a bit tired... I would think that you may be as well, though I'm guessing I didn't tire you out as much as I thought I had..." Chuckling to himself at how weak it was when it came to her, he slowly walked towards his room saying softly so only she could hear "If you need anything, I'll be here." Yawning a bit, he then snuggled into his bed with the little doll that Qiao had graciously given him.

Qiao sighed and looked at him. "I am sorry Vernon...I am just a bit confused..." she watched him leave. "I am tired as well...but I don't want to leave a mess in your home Vernon." She stood up slowly and moved to follow him. Her tail flicked and she moved into his room to lay on the bed next to him. Her body only then let her feel how tired and painful it was. She moaned and fell asleep quickly.

Smiling, Vernon soothingly smoothed her hair behind her ears and fell into a deep slumber. He'd give her an eternity to think over what she was confused about, and he'd help her as best as he could if she needed. He had done a lot to her, and she had taught him a lot as well... She completed him like no other, and she even made him feel like a man.  

[Dooma]

When Qiao woke up she carefully slipped from Vernon's arms. She moved back towards 'her' room. She looked up at the blank walls. And sighed. "I have a lot to do...and I really should make some of the anti draft." She pulled out a small wore book and moved out into the hall to try and find the way to the kitchen. She might as well try to get use to her new home as well. And so far she had met no one else here. She was not happy walking around this fancy place. She did not belong here at all.

Snuggling closer to the dolly, Vernon slept in a ball as he didn't quite get up yet. Qiao had did a number on him, and it amazed him at how tired it had made him. Snuggling under the covers though as it was a bit chilly still, he slept soundly still...

Qiao had conditioned herself over her life to no matter how tired she was she would get up and move with little sleep. She sighed and walked threw the silent halls. She felt a bit of anger boil up inside of her. Had Vernon lied to her about the others in his house going wild with their mates, which had made it more easy for her to give in? She sighed feeling pain and soreness with each step. But making this potion was very important right now. She had to do it soon just in case and keep it up. She would not let herself become with child. She shook her head and flicking her tail she finally found the kitchen.

Feeling around for Qiao, Vernon decided to wake up due to the emptiness that he found next to him upon his bed. Wondering where she had gone, he fidgeted around thinking of just what to do. He wanted to help her with moving in, but he didn't want to touch any of her things without permission. Walking around, he wondered if she was in the room. Taking slow steps, he managed to get there but there was no signs of her at all. The mansion was quiet at the moment, quite wierd, perhaps there were guests over so they felt the need not to do so... Shaking his head to clear the thoughts however, he started to glide around the mansion looking for Qiao.

Within the kitchen the bovine female managed easily to find the cookware she needed. She had the herbs already dried in the book and went about grinding them and mixing them. She knew this concoction would last for a month and before that month was up she would get enough herbs drying to last her a year before she needed to restock.

As she mixed the herbs she wondered if she should let Vernon know what she was doing. It was after all his right as a mate to know what was going on. But he wanted kids and she knew he would want to stop her. He had told her that he always got what he wanted ad she was not really in the mood to give him this, any time soon or in the foreseeable future. She sighed as she started to heat the mixture with some milk and honey. "Might as well make it taste good." she stood mixing the strong smelling brew her tail flicking slowly. "Man I need a bath...." She had not bathed in two days and she smelt of sex, sweat, and blood.

Smiling towards Daelya, Alexus held the others' hand just enough to make sure that she was able to walk around in the glass slippers after what they had just done. "You needn't thank me for anything... I believe that I should be thanking you, for even coming to my home with me, and even staying for dinner... Everything else as well..." The last part mentioned was a bit softer as her cheeks seemed to redden a tad bit more.
Leading the way out, Alexus thought to herself how fast they had become friends... Perhaps this was meant to be?... She woudn't push it, though she hoped that they'd be able to become even closer in later meetings... if the other would even allow other meetings...
Getting closer to the door however, Alexus then said "Cerise, we're in here, we were getting ourselves dressed for dinner..."

Cerise was a bit startled by hearing the voice, but gently smiled as she walked over to the closet. She'd never be rude enough to ask, but the closet was quite a strange place to be staying for a while... she wondered what they would have been doing...
Smiling it away however, Cerise responded "Alright Alexus, I'll be waiting at the door to escort you both to the indoor garden."

Scanning the halls, he found no trace of his beloved. Scratching his head, he then went to sit within the large living room of the mansion. Sometimes it'd be filled with children and adults alike, all enjoying themselves. Today it was empty however... It was as if everyone had gone out to enjoy a movie or something of the sort.

Before opening the door, Alexus let out a gentle "Thank you..." as her door reached for the knob and opened the door to the closet. It was a bit brighter out here but it didn't make much difference as she met up with her sister who had probably just come out of cooking. Hoping the other would not ask what the two were doing in the closet a bit earlier, Alexus started a slight conversation with her sister. "So, Ceri, how's dinner? It must taste yummy right? Since mommies and you cooked it~"

Shaking her head calmly, Cerise said "Alexus, you needn't worry about dinner, you'll have a lot of fun there with Miss Daelya. Say, Miss Daelya, you look so pretty in that dress, I'm happy that Alexus picked it out for you, you suit it very beautifully." Turning towards Alexus, she then said "Alexus, you look like a little prince out of the fairytales we used to read as children, it fits you well, you should wear it more often." Smiling at the two, Cerise then said "Come this way, the indoor garden isn't too far from here, and since we can all fly, I know a short cut... We just have to make sure that Chiemi nor our parents see... they'd have a fit if they found out that we were using that top emergency exit as our means of entrance." Flying a bit ahead, she could have sworn that Alexus' lips seemed a tad bit swollen, but perhaps it was makeup, the younger didn't do it as suttle as she did it, so perhaps it was that...

Qiao finished the drink, drank it, and cleaned up before she headed off back towards her room. This place was too quiet. Hadn't her mate said it was always loud and people were all around? She sighed walking threw the silent house wondering about her knew life.

Getting up, Vernon floated around looking for Qiao. Where had she gone? It was a mystery to him as he started to drift towards a door. It lead to the mansion's community bath. It was a nice place to stay if one wasn't busy. Qiao didn't seem to be there however, so he started to glide through hallways looking for her. A bit worried, his voice started out as a quiet call "Qiao? Are you there?"
