Avenue Q...the musical that stole the "Best Musical" Tony from Wicked the year it made its Broadway debut. That show has more mature content than you'll ever need. Ever. Think "Sesame Street Gone Wrong." The line "if they were gay" references a song from that show (If You Were Gay).

I must now research it!

That's David Ayers, if I'm not mistaken. I've never seen him actually play Fiyero, though. I'm guessing he's pretty good since he was on Broadway.

I signed that about a month or so ago. Kinda disappointed there wasn't any Nessa costume, but c'est la vie. I guess I signed up for disappointment when I subconsciously decided to be a Nessa fan. sweatdrop

But really, she's about the only character in the entire book/show/whatnot that couldn't have possibly lived, not even in the hapless minds of fanfiction authors. It's hard to argue with hundreds of singing munchkins.

Why disappointment? She is tragically beautiful...although she ended up being the Wicked Witch of the West and she died...I'm not helping...

Lack of fan media (avatars, AIM icons, decent fanart, etc.). People have a tendency to like Elphaba and Glinda better--and it makes sense, considering they've got massive quantities of quotable lines in the show. That's two reasons right there. She's the only character who, due to the 1939 movie, couldn't POSSIBLY cheat death--a number of characters who died in the book found some way or another to live in the show. Her big number got cut from the soundtrack due to spoilers. The list goes on and on and on. whee
