Poser is someone that poses... duh... I mean, they try to look like metalheads and act all 'I hate the world', they think Metal is about destroying and spitting, graffitying and crap like that.. losers.
Also all of them that call me poser for not listening to other kinds of rock (just metal) and they don't know why I don't. (Cause metal mixes musical and emotional skills)
Want to see a poser? That would be the next person you see wearing a t-shirt with a penthagram and doesn't know who Astaroth is... that is a poser.

Hmmm. This girl in my class is the perfect example of a poser. Here's the story:
One day, I wore a Pink Floyd shirt, and she says to me, "That shirt is discusting, who'd ever like that band?"
So I roll my eyes, and just blow it off.
Next week, she's wearing the exact same shirt that I was.

poser 2 noun he's such a poser exhibitionist, poseur, posturer, fake; informal show-off.

This guy has always listened to metal, and as soon as I got into metal, he starts calling me a poser. He had always had this thing all to himself and when I threaten his individualality, he says I'm a poser. that shows that he is afraid that someone else likes something he has always had to himself. I would consider someone like this a poser. I believe that, even though he enjoys metal, he only has the image because it is his only way of being unique. I think the first sign of being a poser is calling everyone else a poser.

I think that a poser is a person that likes music not for the right reasons, but as a form of rebellion or to fit in with a group of people. Or go hard core into the lifestyle for all the wrong reasons.

i think a poser is someone who beats on the little kids who have no form of deffense and do it for respect from another group of people and they think they no everything......... this guy was talking about top rockers he knows and he said marilyn mason stare is bigger and better than bands like acdc and led zepplin and bands like that thinking he all about rock but rock is a passion and people who just use it to get people to like them those guys are posers
