Her teeth chattering she shook her head. "I-I c-can't. I have to hold onto Rolnan. I a-am almost home anyway." She says pointing to her house. Although it was still quite far away. "I don't wan't Rolnan to fall." She said holding him closer to her body, not only giving him the remaining warmth of her body but also gaining his warmth for herself. Tripping slightly she fell backwards and landed on her backside in a deep puddle washing her all the way to her waist. Quickly she looked to her son. "Rolnan! Oh, good your okay." SHe said relieved pushing herself up. Dripping she continued walking.

"Sorry, but if you out here any longer, bothe you and him are going to get sick." Wyatt said as he got off of Bella. As he helped Ahrina up, he set her on Bella. "Look, I will stay behind you and hold the reins, while you hold onto Rolnan. That way, we get you home fast. Besides I'm pretty sure your mother is worried sick about you." Wyatt told her as he got behind her. "Go Bella, but be graceful."

Ahrina shivered. "Thank y-you." She said as her teeth chattered. She held tightly onto Rolnan as he laughed gleefully as they bobbed up and down to the motion of the horses speed. Slowly she closed her eyes to only feel the rain hitting her face. She found it realxing and soon stopped shivering. She loved the feel of rain. She opened her eyes slightly and glanced up ahead. They were nearing her house.

As soon as they reached Ahrina's house, Wyatt picked her up off of Bella and carried her into the house, all the while Ahrina holding onto Rolnan. As he set Ahrina down, he noticed that she was soaked to the skin. "I'm going to go get some towels." Wyatt said to Ahrina. He left the room and got some towels, as he came back into the living room, Wyatt wrapped Rolnan in a towel and took him from Ahrina, then wrapped a towel around Ahrina. "You should go take a shower. I'll change Rolnan out of these clothes while you take one. Don't worry, I will take very good care of him." Wyatt said trying to reassure Ahrina.

"No give me my baby. Give me my baby!" She said slighty panicked reaching back towards Rolnan. Standing up she grabbed him away. "Thank you for bringing me home but I can take care of myself. I'll give you some bread to eat." She said grabbing her basket and cutting half the loaf. "Here." She smiled. "Again thank you." She said as she pushed him slightly. "I am guessing you found the stable?" She said holding Rolnan tighter to her protectively.

Putting the bread back in the basket, Wyatt felt like he just committed a crime. "I am sorry. I was just trying to help you. I understand that you don't trust me. If you need me I will be in the stables." Wyatt bowed to Ahrina. I am such an idiot, trying to help her out. So much for that. As Wyatt went back outside, he saw Bella still standing in the rain, grazing on the wet grass. "Come on Bella, lets go back to the stables." Wyatt said as he grabbed Bella's reins and walked back to the stables, a good five minutes walk. "You know, I understand why she got upset and protective. I'm not trustworthy. That's fine though, you shouldn't trust everybody. Especially if your a mother." As they got back in the stables, Wyatt took off Bella's saddle and set it down, walked over to the haystack, and threw himself into it. "I kind of deserved being yelled at."

Ahrina sighed. She didn't want to sound harsh or angry but she didn't know him well enough to leave her son with him, let alone leave him in her house. Quickly she went to the firplace. The flame slowly beginning to wither she put some wood on it and placed a blanket by the warmth of the growing fire. She changed herself and Rolnan as quickly as she could and grabbed some more blankets for the two of them. Rolnan immediately snuggled into her and fell asleep. She smiled and carressed him slowly. Listening to the rain against her house, she relaxed herself completely, her hair falling slowly out of her braids and into her face as the rain began to slow. She had decided that after the storm was over she would begin cooking supper and give some to Wyatt. Maybe if she had some oats or carrots that would be included for Bella as well.

"Maybe it would be wise for me to leave. After all, I just freaked out Ahrina. I could find some other place to stay. You stay here Bella, I'm going to go see Ahrina to let her know." As Wyatt walked out into the rain, he noticed that it had lightend up some. So he ran to the porch of Ahrina's house and knocked on the door. "She'll probably be happy that I am leaving." Wyatt says before she opened the door.

Istaraka draped the finished product around her father's shoulders as thunder boomed over-head once more. Her father made a suggestion of going back to the ship to change. Istaraka frowned. "Why?" 'We were invited to dinner at the palace.' was his reply. Istaraka and Delevenor began to pack away immediately, the merchandise went into baskets covered in oil cloth. The family hurried back to the docks. Istaraka asked when they had been invited. Her brother answered 'The lady that bought the ruby earrings was the princess.' The girl's eyes grew wide. From the princess herself! Their shoe made clunking noises as they walked across the deck, the men shuffling to cover everything in sailcloth. Istaraka's father gave one of the sailors orders to go and fetch a carriage for rent whilst the brother and sister ducked below deck, and heading for their separate rooms to change.

Hearing a knock on the door brought her back to reality. Slowly she lifted herself from the floor. She was still slightly chilled but there wasn't a thing to worry about. Slowly she walked to the door. She covered herself completely with the blanket as she left her son to sleep by the fire with the many blankets surrounding him. Her door quietly creaked open. She peeked for a moment then opened the door completely. Standing there was Wyatt. "Oh, hello." She said simply.

"Hey Ahrina, um.... I don't know how to say this politely, so I'm just going to say it. Me and Bella are leaving. Seeing as how I'm not needed or wanted around here, especially since you have Rolnan there to take care of, we will be leaving. So thank you for your kindness, but we will be off." Wyatt bows to her in gratitude for her hospitality, turns around, and heads back to the stables. Sad thing is, I liked her too. But she has a kid to take care of. I would just complicate things. So I might as well leave.

Ahrina pouted slightly. She was slightly happy that he was going. It wasn't that she didn't like him it was that she was busy with Rolnan and other things. She couldn't take of those 'other' things if she was also taking care of a stranger. She quickly ran to the kitchen and grabbed some more food along with her blanket. Before running out onto the porch she grabbed some coins. She quickly ran out onto the Porch. "Wyatt! Hold on a second!" She said running up towards him. Before he could say anything she thrust the objects into his hands and said, "The coins will keep you in the Inn in town for about a week. If you need to stay longer it will be easy to find a temporary job." Slowly she walked back to the house. She quickened the pace slightly as she realised that Rolnan was alone. She glanced back for a moment and smiled at Wyatt. "Again, thank you for bringing me home."

Istaraka stood ready beside her brother, both waiting for their father. The girl had dressed herself in a blood red dress her father had bought her a while ago; her black hair set in curls hanging from a braided crown. Her brother had switched from merchant's brown to an outfit of navy blue his brown hair neat and combed. Neither outfit could been seen through the shrouds of oil cloth wraped around both. Their father finally appeared, dressed in emerald and also carrying oil cloth that he whipped around his shoulders. They move out from the shelter of the ship. The rain had slowed to a drizzle now. Their hurried footsteps sounded loudly across the deck as they rushed to the waiting carriage and stepped in after paying the driver and listing their destination. They set off up the store-lined streets towards the palace.

Taking the items Ahrina shoved to him, Wyatt walked back to the stables. He got Bella ready to go in quiet. In the silence Wyatt was thinking to himself. See I knew she didn't like me. Nobody has ever really liked me. But I like her, and I will tell her so before I go. After he was ready to go, he wrote how he felt on a note. He took Bella out of the stables and headed to Ahrina's house. Wyatt put the food and coins onto the porch with the note on top. Wyatt knocked on the door, jumped on Bella's back and started riding off. This is what the note said: Ahrina, thank you again for your hospitality. I am in debt to you, but I can not accept these items for you have a child to care for. So your items are with this note. Yours sincerely, Wyatt P.S. I want to tell you that I like you. I'm sorry I can't be of future assisstance to you as much as it pains me to leave, but if you ever need any help. I will be near the strawberry patch. Thank you again, Wyatt.

Mari was browsing through her dresses, Adric watching her, rigging heavily as too-formal dresses landed on or beside him. She had been trying to pick the right dress since they had gotten back, and, finally, she settled on a delicate white dress with ruby accents, which matched her new earrings.
She was excited, to say the least.
