I'm sort of a new active member but I do know a bit about Lolita Fashion. Though I still have things to learn as well, don't get me wrong! It would be awesome to have a little sister (If I'm qualified to be an older sister even o.o) I know I would have loved to have someone be there to help find sites I needed when I started researching the fashion ^_^

Artemis Cangee I'm sort of a new active member but I do know a bit about Lolita Fashion. Though I still have things to learn as well, don't get me wrong! It would be awesome to have a little sister (If I'm qualified to be an older sister even o.o) I know I would have loved to have someone be there to help find sites I needed when I started researching the fashion ^_^ ' If you become a big sister you should me mine! -Lolita_Kana- -Lolita Sister Program Update and Resolutions- So the original poster of this thread Fiaria decided that she would run this event herself since she proposed it with the help of her Older Sister, Me. I was taking into consideration what some people had proposed about different threads for the Main Parts, Older Sister Parts, and Little Sister Parts. I rather like this idea but I don't like the thought of having to create a sub-forum on this guild which is 2500 gold when I have a guild laying around which is no longer in use. I thought that we could have this event there and I would re-name the guild to "Lolita Society's Sister Program". I thought this would be easier since: 1. A subforum doesn't have to made her 2. This guild wouldn't get spammed with multiple stickies for the different threads 3. The Mods here won't go crazy trying to go over the different threads 4. It's easier for Fiaria and me to go and change posts and such while her we would have to bother a mod to do it for us. 5. We could set everything up there instead of doing it in the Test Forums and then transferring it, which would save us time and we could have it up by Dec. So I wanted to know what you guys thought about this and such so that this can be up and running soon and everyone can participate!
I agree I like this idea much better then a actual forum and for all the reasons stated. But how would you contact those who wish to join?

I will second this motion... like you need my opinion anyway! razz If your old guild needs any donations to get this all set up I can spare a pretty good bit of gold for our (quite literally) sister guild.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Instead of a subforum here a guild would keep it a little more organized. Be sure to invite me! c:
Edit: In the guild we could have a subforum that would contain one-on-one threads between Older and Younger sisters, and then two more subforums, one for Older sisters to hang out in and one for Younger sisters.
I'll also be willing to donate, I just so happen to have a lot of gold lying around uselessly. xD

Thank you everyone for your wonderful input and showing how much you want to help! I love all these ideas and I will be implementing some of them into the guild! I will be doing these following Subforums:
1. Main for events and individual threads for each pairing
2. Little Sisters Subforum which Fiaria will manage
3. A Big Sisters Subforum which I will manage
Also we will have an Update Thread on this guild which will have the link to the main guild within it so that everyone knows where the guild is and so they can join.
I have already started doing some tweaks to the guild so with addition as Fiaria to the guild and some people she'll have as helpers we should have the guild up and running before Christmas for sure and maybe even sooner!

ElizabethRose311 how do you know if you are allowed in the sisters' guild? We're are going to set up a main thread here where people can start applying for Little/Older Sisters Status. As we receive your application we'll immeditely send you a guild invite with info in the notes section of it ^_^. All updates and info will be found on the thread we'll create here.

-Update- I thought some of you might want to see how progress is going so I toke a screencap of the guild home part since it's hidden right now I can't post a link to the guild. Also setting up subforums in guilds costs 2,500 gold a sub-forum which is pretty step pocket change. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to donate a little gold to set up the two subforums people wanted, the one for Older and the one for Younger Sisters. Also with anything that is left over I was thinking that it can used as prize money for the monthly Lolita Sister events that way there's an incentive for the event. If you are willing and able to please send a trade titled "Guild Setup" to me, -Lolita_Kana-. Usually you would just donate directly to a guild but the problem with that is that the leftover just sits there and can not be used for other things while with direct donations we can have the leftover used for events and such. I appreciate everyone's efforts and suggestions thus far. Well here is the screencap of the front, any suggestions on what should be added? I'll make a temp banner for it also later or I may have a little "make the guild a banner' type of thing as the months first activity between sisters.

As of right now no one has an Older/Sister since we're still setting up but when we are ready will be posting a main thread here with information to where you can send your application in order to be an Older/Little Sister.

thank you so much for your answer to my question! i am really looking forward to getting an older sister! (two reasons: 1. i do need the help in lolita, and 2. i'm the oldest in my house, child wise, so i never had a big sister! always wanted one though!)
just so i know what to look for, do you have any idea what the name of that thread will be?
