((He's pretty easy-going, as long as you're polite. xD))
Rackna, chuckling at his sister's remark, sat down, his long tail winding around the bulky red form. Suddenly, another voice drifted across the hot desert to him. A female voice. He raised his head to look beyond the two females, to spot yet another lioness, a black one. He stood, grains of sand falling from his coat as he jogged toward the newcoming lioness.
"Hello!"
He called happily. He was in an excellent mood, for first Taifa, now another lioness came over. Needless to say, Rackna is a very social lion.
"How may I help you?"
He asked her, deep voice ringing out across the hot desert, sending a few scattered jackrabbits into hiding.

Kichea swallowed hard, though she knew what she was looking for. "I am called Kichea, and I am alone, save my mother, whom I no longer travel with since I am grown." She acknowledged the other lions with a nod, but kept her focus on the large male, incase her request be denied with fury. "I ask to join your pride, I can hunt, and I'm quite fast..." She added a few of her abilities in hopes of persuading him.

He smiled as she listed her skills.
"You were accepted from the start, but those abilities are certainly a bonus."
He winked at her playfully. Turning back toward the others, he looked back at her, smiling.
"Welcome to the pride. We aren't very big... yet."

Kichea sighed a breath of releif, and then grinned sheepishly. "Yet? Seems like someone's planning something..."

Rackna wagged his eyebrows goofily, a crooked smile on his face.
"You bet I am! I want to have the largest pride in the savanna."

Kichea couldn't help but laugh at Rackna. "I'm sure it will be, in time... in time..." She streached out, claws digging into the earth.
((Sorry about the long wait, I was helping my mother put boxes into the attic))

He chuckled, sighing as if it were such a burden to be charming.

Kichea flopped on the ground as she rolled her eyes. "No one I'm sure."

He prodded her with a paw.
"Come on, let's go hunting."
He said, and before Kichea could respond, he bounded out through the sharp Elephant grass.

Kichea rose in the blink of an eye and followed him, wincing as the Elephant grass tried to hold her back.
She caught up with him and surveyed the savannah. "What do you plan to hunt?"

Pastel padded unknowingly into Rackna's territory, her tail swishing curiously as the cub had grown weary of waiting and decided to explore herself. Having been abandoned by her mother, she had looked around for others of her kind and batted at a bug that flew past her nose. Silly bug. She pounced at it, trying to catch it with her paws.
"I just want to play, silly bug!" the young cub said as she missed her target and tumbled head first down a small hill. Getting up at the bottom, she spied another lion which looked like a male to her conversing with a lioness. The heat of the day tired her out and she sat down, panting as she tried to cool herself off and waited to see whether or not she would be noticed. Her feather tipped tail curled around her and resembled a question mark.

"Hmm... I saw some gazelle nea-"
He stopped short as a young, pastel hued cub came into view.
"Hold on, one second, okay?"
He called over his shoulder as he trotted over toward the cub. He looked at her curiously, one eyebrow cocked.
"Hello. Can I help you?"
He asked the little panting cub.

Taifa stopped the friendly game, the sweltering heat was making itself known. Instead she stepped foward and nuzzled the other lioness.
"Yes, I will be staying with you, if you'll have me."
She smiled and added, "You're lucky you have such a charming brother."
With a bow, she padded to the shade of an Acacia. The glaring eye of the sun was giving her a headache.

Seeing at least the male noticing her, she got to her feet and bowed to him, a pleading look in her purple hued eyes. This was her only chance for survival, she wondered how her siblings were doing on there own and felt bad that Pastel hadn't dragged one of them with her. She could only hope they were okay.
And she was curious for her own fate as well. "My mother abandoned me, please, please, please, can I join your pack?" She hoped he saw through her eyes that she couldn't fend for herself, didn't know anything except for how to talk and walk, it was for her own survival.

Solio dropped down on all fours also, and smiled kindly to the lavender lioness.
"We'd love to have you stay with us! If I'm correct..."
Solio motioned over toward where Rackna and the new ebony lioness stood with a small, colorful cub.
"We've got company."
She smiled and turned her head to watch Taifa as she walked over toward the shady Acacia. She dropped her head to pick up the rabbit that had been sitting on the warm ground, shaking the sand off of it. She jogged swiftly over toward where the river weaved it's way through the elephant grass. Dropping the rabbit on the dry sand next to the river, she stepped in, the cool water soothing her hot paws.
"Ahh..."
She sighed, laying down in the shallow water. With her two front paws, she clawed at the rabbit and began to eat contently.
Rackna's different colored eyes widened in surprise as the young cub pleaded to join. He smiled sadly, and reached up to ruffle the fur between her ears.
"Sure you can join. We'd love to have you with us. My name's Rackna. What's yours?"
He asked her, standing. He started walking back toward where the elephant grass was that surrounded the pridelands, hoping she would follow.
"Be careful, this is sharp."
He warned her, motioning to the dark green grass. He was so used to the grass he almost forgot to warn her.
"Hey Kichea, let me just get her into the pridelands and then we can go."
He smiled apologetically, hoping she would understand.
