Right, I forgot that in 3rd edition, Druids have been seriously de-wussified. I remember giving my DM quite a few grey hairs since I had to make up with creative spell use and shapeshifting what I lacked in battle-oomph. Favourite maneuver was to shift into a ferret or other small mammal, run up an enemy caster's leg (they all wear robes, you know...), transform into an alligator or python underneath said robes and then [self-censored].

*Snort* Now you can just go the bear route and cast animal growth or whatever it is on yourself. A little less interesting but definitely not wussy. They have a few decent spells now. Though I kind of hate using the fire spells. Gonna have the druid that burns down the forest or some s**t.

Laying counter-fires is a very good method to stop a raging wildfire or at least direct the flames somewhere else where they will do less harm. The method is practiced by a lot of tribes native to such regions. Therefore, I think it is justified for a druid to know fire-based spells.
So, if we are going to do this, which rules shall we use? Is everybody familiar with AD&D? And if yes, which edition? Myself, I solely played AD&D and DSA so far.

I'm definitely most familiar with D&D v3.5, but I'm sort of excited for v4.0. It's apparently set up so that it'll be easier to play across the internet.

Neutral Evil Gnome Sorcerer (2nd Level)
Ability Scores: Strength- 13 Dexterity- 13 Constitution- 14 Intelligence- 18 Wisdom- 15 Charisma- 13
Alignment: Neutral Evil- A neutral evil villain does whatever he can get away with. He is out for himself, pure and simple. He sheds no tears for those he kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. He has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make him any better or more noble. On the other hand, he doesnt have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. Some neutral evil villains hold up evil as an ideal, committing evil for its own sake. Most often, such villains are devoted to evil deities or secret societies. Neutral evil is the best alignment you can be because you can advance yourself without regard for others. However, neutral evil can be a dangerous alignment because it represents pure evil without honor and without variation.
Race: Gnomes are in wide demand as alchemists, inventors, and technicians, though most prefer to remain among their own kind in simple comfort. Gnomes adore animals, gems, and jokes, especially pranks. They love to learn by personal experience, and are always trying new ways to build things. Gnomes stand 3 to 3.5 feet tall and live about 350 to 500 years.
Class: Sorcerers- Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

Ffaux Pas ... Riiiight.
Evil my a**. xD You don't know me very well if you haven't seen me being evil. I'm only evil when it makes a difference. I'm not chaotic evil, I don't just randomly d**k people over. And I'm a great deal less evil on teh intarwebz then irl. Probably because I have no tangible things to gain here.

I answered honestly: I look after myself first, I feel no duty to honor my deals, I would betray my country for the right price (which would be pretty low), and I obey only the laws that I agree with. True evil, ftw.
