Nadine chuckled and plopped her head back down. "So, 'Well uhm' is what we've got? I guess it's a start." Rolling up against him she laughed. " I don't suppose 'well uhm' has any more of an elaborate definition does it?"
Feeling his warm side against hers, she stared back up at the two other Lions. They certainly were off in their own little world. Not that she and Ashoka weren't, but out on the plains, it seemed the thing to do. A piece of square land five feet by five feet could be your home, your own little world, and with tall grass, and creatures off doing their own thing, it certainly could be quiet and desolate. Shaking her head a bit, to get rid of the thoughts, she turned back to Ashoka awaiting a response.

Ashoka laid his head down on his paws and smiled contently. Before he knew what he was doing and could stop himself, his tail wrapped around her's. He blinked and smiled sheepishly at her. "I think what we have is pretty good." Ashoka grinned. He kept his gaze on her eyes. Had he finally found where he belonged? With Nadine? He shook his head as if to clear the cobwebs from his brain. He gently nuzzled Nadine's face and began to pur.

It seemed to be the answer Nadine was looking for. Nuzzling up against him, she sighed and began to purr deeply. Ashoka was like her, a wanderer. Why wouldn't they work together through it. Forgetting completely about the other two lions, she let the sun beat down on her, and her purring slowly gave way to the soft breathing of sleep.
(( done here for the night i think. Can't think of what else to do without anyone else here. haha. ))

Padding gracefully into the clearing again Taeliff flicked his ears to hear a bit of the conversation. Some talk of hunting from the lionesses and a talk of love from the couple. Rolling his eyes a bit Taeliff dragged the remains of a boar over to the group and setting it before them like a treasure or a long lost son of some sort. He sat down quickly and began his speach.
"Ah, a pair of young lovers. So nice to see that kind of thing around here." He nodded to Nadine and smiled "You must be Nadine, this young lad speaks of you often." He turned away to see the other ladies preparing for a hunt. "If you plan on hunting I'd be glad to come with you, there is a group of boar by my home. However this may be enough to satisfy you for the time being?" He grinned widely and sat between the two, watching them eat.
His dark fur quickly became warm from the sunlight and flies swarmed close to the meat annoyingly. With a sigh of utter exhaustion he flopped down onto the sandy ground happily.

Ashoka rose and eyebrow and shook his head at the lion. This was a strange lion...but Ashoka liked him non-the-less. He looked down at Nadine and realized that she was almost asleep. The sight of her by him made him smile. He gently laid his chin on the top of her head and closed his eyes, purring intently.
Suddenly, as if Taeliff had just come around, the smell of the bored intermingled with the sweet smell of Nadine. His stomach began to turn and started to growl. Slowly, so as not to wake up Nadine,he rose up and padded over to where Taeliff was. "May I? I haven't ate in a few days." He groaned and felt embarrassed as his stomach protested to it's emptyness.

Taeliff cocked his head to one side to look around Ash to Nadine. "Amazing girl you've got my friend." He stood up a bit taller so he could look into Ashoka's eyes. "She's perfect with you." He grinned widely and took a step to the side to Ash could move past him to the food.
Then he danced around on his paws happily singing lightly, " I hear wedding bells! Zahina will grant you young cubs! You're in loooove! I said L-O-V-E loveeee!"

As Ashoka bent and took a huge chunk of meat off of the boar Taeliff started to dance around and sing. Ashoka chewed the meat hastily and swallowed it. Glaring at Taeliff he said "Shut up. You'll wake her up." He mumbled something incoherently as he made his way over to the water. Boy was that lion annoying. Leaning close to the surface and looked at his reflection. Am I really in love...? Ashoka asked himself. He plopped down on the edge of the lake and let his nose rest closely to the water's surface. He let out a deep breath and sent small ripples going through water around his nose. He was so not use to this feeling inside of him.

Taeliff laughed at Ash's actions, he was so funny, as if nbody else was there. "You like her okay, get over it already." He nodded to her. "She's beautiful and you'll get used to the feeling of being in love don't worry." He rolled his eyes and stopped dancing. "Don't you think that your cubs will stand a much better chance in a Pride?" He nodded to Ash and settled down on the sandy floor again, sweeping his tail back and forth in soothing motions.

Ashoka heaved a sigh and rolled over onto his back and stared up at the sky. "She is beautiful, isn't she?" He asked more to himself than anyone. A smile came across his face but it disappeared as soon as it had appeared. Tae's question kept repeating itself in his head. He sat up and looked at the other lion. "Cubs?" He blinked at the thought. "Do you really think she'd want to have cubs with me?" He smiled at the thought. He'd give anything to have a few kids running around...and he love for, more than anything, their mother to be Nadine. Ashoka pawed at the dirt in front of him and thought about things. "We were talking about prides the other day. She's wanted to start one for a while...and it's always been on my mind to find one or start one." He shrugged as he looked back up at the lion.

Tae laughed his booming laughter but tried to keep it a bit softer than usual. "Yes, yes, very beautiful." He nodded as if talking to himself and turned back to Ash, "She want's to start one?" He scoffed and turned back. "Well then she'll need you even more. Besides, I think we should all start one together. I mean look at all the lions around here. And I know more, oh much more." He nodded and began to pace back and forth. "The thing is we need a name...no not just a name...I need a right hand man!" By now he was in his own litte world, focused on his own plans.

Awoken by the feeling of earth shaking, Nadine slowly awoke from the short slumber she had been in. Absorbing the conversation for a bit, she slowly got up and sat back on her haunches. Yawning lazily, she glared at the new Lion.
" A right hand man? Don't you think yourself a little too excitable to lead a Pride?" She hadn't really meant for it to be an insult, but she had been awoken by what sounded like the ramblings of a lion with heat stroke. Shaking her head a bit, she walked up to Ash, grazing his shoulder with hers, and stooped to get a drink. Resting in the sun had it's warming qualities, but it left her feeling extremely thirsty afterwards.

Ash rolled his eyes at the lion in front of him. He let out an exasperated breath of air. The lion was starting to get on his nerves...and now he was basically insulting Nadine. "Look. You have no place to think she can't lead a pride." Ash looked Tae up and down, as if to assess him. "You need to calm yourself down just a bit if you want to even think about leading a pride. Nadine could do just fine without me with her."
He shook his head and sighed. A smile came across his face as he heard a voice that was all too familiar to his ears..and boy were they glad to hear it. He looked up and saw Nadine walking towards them. He watched her every move. The way her tail swayed as she walked, the way her eyes looked, everything. His breath caught in his throat as he realized that he was, indeed, in love.

Pretending to not act as interested, nadine grinned despite herself. It was hilarious to watch Ash come to terms with things. She imagined it much harder for men, as women always seemed to have a better grasp on their own emotions. Finished with her drink, she sat up and nuzzled at his side for a moment before turning toward the overly enthusiastic Lion again.
" Forming a pride is something that is to be done with care. I for one don't even know three of the lions present. For all i know, there could be fighting and unpleasant feelings between one person or another for whatever reason. Why are you so eager to make one with complete strangers?" It just didn't make sense to her. To her, forming a Pride should be between friends, or atleast people that knew each other. She couldn't see the benefits of forming out of obvious non necessity. Each one of these lions could hunt on their own, and had obviously been doing so for a while. This young Lion before her was either going to be that constantly excitable, or he saw something in perhaps one of the other two lionesses that he wanted.
Cleaning at her paw, she looked up at Ash. " And as for you, sure i could do fine without you, but why on Zahina's earth would i want to?" she said with a grin.

Raising his eyebrow Taeliff let the two lovers finish their speaches. He nodded just for manner's sake and then shook his huge mane at the end a tad angrilly. "I'm not making a pride to be powerfull or to be the center of attention. I want to make a pride to be a family. If you're not interested in that kind of thing or you want your own litte family by yourselves fine. Not me. I've been without a family for much too long." He stood up and with a huff of anger he raced out of the clearing again, happy to never see that female again.

Ash couldn't help but laugh. "You sure you can put up with me?" He asked as he pushed her side, playfully, with his head. The smile on his face was big. He had never been more happy in his life. He finally felt like he belonged somewhere.
He looked up and over at Taeliff. "She has a point. You barely know those two over there." Ash said as his head nodded in the direction of the two lionesses. "Even though I've met one of them, it was briefly. I wouldn't feel comfortable forming a pride with lions I didn't know." He knew it'd sound like he was just agreeing with his mate...but it was truly how he felt. Maybe that's why Nadine and him had hit it off? They were alike in so many ways.
