"Childish? Not at all!" Dante then said, with a quick response. "I didn't know being childish was a bad thing, and I haven't been out much myself you know. I may know the land but I don't know many others, since I tend to be too shy to approach at times. But wanting to meet that guy again when it was raining sounds like a brilliant idea if you ask me, I wouldn't have though about it. He might actually be NICE, and that is crazy in my mind." The stallion could only finish with a chuckle as well, since he found it impossible to imagine that other stallion as nice.

Dante then nodded with Vieno's words, but he was keen to listen when she spoke about what she enjoyed doing when the days became late. "Ooh, the sunset!" he then said, as if he had remembered something remarkably. "If we move up a bit on this small hill, the sunset will be setting soon over the water, and the view is just amazing you know. The water itself looks as though it is painted with the sunset's colors, and I think that is amazing. Its like a wonderful screen cap in the sky, and I think we will be able to see it soon." He looked towards the lazy sun, which was now lingering at a lower point in the sky.

"We might as well find comfy spots to enjoy the sun at." he then proposed, while walking forward a bit on the sloped ground. "Anywhere that meets your fancy we can rest!"

"Oh, you should really get out and meet lots of others! You're such a sweet individual, Dante... I'm sure you'll make many friends!" the sweet mare complimented softly, "..but I'm sure I've said that a million times already!" she giggled and turned to look at the sky. Truly, she was glad to have met this stallion, it was sometimes hard to make friends and he made everything seem so easy and simple. If making friends was always that easy, Vieno would be loaded with them! She just hoped she'd eventually be able to make more... and maybe let her new friends meet her very first!

"Ohh, really? You can see the sunset? I can never get over how magical it seems when it's fading out of the sky..." she giggled and trotted over to Dante, wanting to watch the sun go down with him. She'd spent days upon days, watching the sun go down and admiring the colors as it did so. Every single time there were different hues in the sky, the clouds were different shapes and it was always a new experience. She'd never forget the first time she began watching the sun go down as a filly... even if it brought sad memories with it.

Vieno quickly trotted up the hill, eager to see how different it was when the sun faded over the ocean. She'd heard Dante say something but she couldn't quite recall what it was for her attention was now on the scenic picture in front of her. Rays of color danced across the surface of the ocean, purples, blues, pinks, orange, close to every color of the rainbow. There seemed to be a line down the middle of the ocean, touching the sun, while the areas around it were dark. She'd never seen anything so breath taking before, so she softly gasped, "It's... beautiful..."

He was thankful that the mare was just as happy to see the beautiful change in the sky, and he lowered his guard while also glancing forward. "It really is. I usually sleep in on the mornings so that I can stay up later to see the sunset and night sky. I like the daytime.. but I like the nightime better for some reason." Since in the nighttime he could hide and blend incredibly easily, and that kept him comforted and stable. He really hated being spotted, but today he was spotted from someone very nice! So, it was always a trade off.

"Every time I stare at the sun setting, I try and imagine if I have any dreams or hopes I need to accomplish. Do you have any yourself, Vieno?" It was partially a complex question, but Dante hoped that Vieno wouldn't be phased. The moment was so comfortable and soothing, that the mare was hopefully just as relaxed! "Sometimes I try to think of goals as I sit here."

Or, sometimes he would just stare in complete amusement! It depended on his mind, and whether he was feeling lazy or pumped up. He was feeling sort of lazy now, but it was a good lazy. He hadn't been this relaxed in awhile, and he was thankful for such a feeling of comfort. "The days are going to start to get longer now, and I can't wait for that!"

"I find the night time a bit scary myself," Vieno chuckled to herself, "There could be so many different things hiding in the shadows that you don't know about." The mare was much like a filly, easily scared by anything in the dark, even the smallest of critters. It was hard for her to admit for most of it ran back to her past, the long nights she'd wandered around in the dark. Shaking her head she sighed softly, turning to face Dante, "I love first waking up in the morning, it's so quiet as if the world's waiting for you to take the first steps of the day." Vieno smiled again, tilting her head slowly to look back at the sunset, "The beginning and the end are... the most beautiful..."

Dreams and hopes? Did she really have any? Nowadays she spent her time prancing about, enjoying herself, did she really have any goals in life? Vieno wasn't sure what to say to that, she wasn't too sure what she wanted out of her life at that very moment. Maybe her goals were to someday have a family and many friends to be able to count on and love. Wasn't that every mare's dream? Somewhat flustered now, she turned away, speaking softly, "I'm not sure honestly... I'm sure I have them... just... can't think of any right now. What about your goals? What would you like to accomplish?"

Longer days, she'd definitely look forward to that as well. Vieno certainly enjoyed the daytime more than the nighttime, creepy crawlers were never appreciated. She smiled a bit, looking up above her at the sky, "Yes, I look forward to the longer days as well..." The mare looked forwarding to spending days with her new friend as well, and the ones she was soon bound to meet.

It was natural for a mare to have those feelings about the nighttime, and Dante knew his sister would probably agree with Vieno on that fact. "Well, as long as you have company avoid the nighttime then!" He grinned before bringing his eyes back ahead of him in comfort. He wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Vieno, so he was glad she was safe when traveling by herself. Many were rather foolish about traveling, but he supposed there was a time and a place to learn, and it all came with experience.

He quickly listened to her question while keeping his eyes forward, as if reflecting as deeply as he could. "Goals.. I haven't made any yet myself. But I do have dreams that involve patching my family together, even though it seems impossible. But with the new season, I think there is hope in the air, and I think the family may come together in the future. So I will probably have the courage to set goals after that happens." He nodded slowly while looking back to Vieno, and he realized he probably sounded strange or weak. It was no matter really, since Vieno didn't ever judge.

"Goals and dreams just come with time, and you have plenty of time you know!" He then said, with a cheerful voice. "No need to rush what may happen or could happen, since that is how I find my best dreams and such." Dante spent a lot of his time thinking, so it was no surprise that his mind was full of ideas all the time. "I apologize if I threw a strange question at you out of the blue, I tend to do that without even realizing it!"

"Yes, company is always appreciated," she smiled, her eyes once again very distant, showing that perhaps her heart wasn't with her words like it normally was. Of course Dante didn't know of how what he was saying really related to her and how many nights she'd wandered... alone. Trying to keep a smile on her face, the mare looked back to the sunset, watching the sun fade slowly into the horizon. Watching the sun go down and the beautiful colors melt and merge together was always a wonderful experience but with that came darkness and this mare feared darkness. Bravery was one of her strong points, she'd gallop through a pack of wolves to save someone she loved but when it came to the dark... she was paralysed by fear.

Her ears flickered as she watched the world around her become shadowy, sunlight leaving the sky, causing darkness to take over. Taking a deep breath, she listened to her friend, she was safe... nothing bad was going to happen... "That's wonderful, family's one of the most important things, isn't it?" Vieno smiled, "I think you're a very brave individual, Dante, I'm sure you'll find the courage soon enough!" She had a lot of belief in her new friend and felt he could acomplish anything if he tried hard enough. Then again, Vieno was the optimistic, 'you can do anything', type.

"You're right, not everyone has to have dreams right away," the mare nodded, tail flicking to and fro behind her. It was getting darker which was making her nervous but she didn't want her new friend to know how much of a wimp she was. She wanted to be known as brave and strong, not weak and afraid of darkness. Taking a deep breath she looked at Dante, forcing a smile on her features. There was no way the dark was getting the best of her this time.

Dante was a bit surprised to hear that Vieno was getting a tad quieter, but he listened to the words she did say with smile of delight. There was something that ws distracting her, but what he could not tell. He hadn't noticed the sky's change from dark to light, so to him it was a natural occurrence of sorts. He never could of imagined anyone actually feeling discomforted from such a thing, so he only watched Vieno silently in wonderment of her thoughts.

"Everything alright?" he then asked very casually, as if not pinning her out of the blue. "If you are tired, I can happily start leading you back towards home. Not everyone enjoys staying up late like I do." He shrugged while slowly moving his eyes towards to stars. He wasn't someone who enjoyed 'wishing' on them or whatever, but he did enjoy the way they looked. "I guess for some stars actually grant wishes, but I don't think that's possible. Maybe I am just negative?" Or he hoped he was just realistic..

"Ah, no matter. But it is nice having them around, since they keep the land brighter even at the latest of hours." And that way.. he didn't run into trees or anything!

Tired? Sleep? Was she ready for bed already? This was around the time she normally went to sleep simply because she feared being awake during the night. Often she woke too early, from having a bad dream or being uncomfortable in her sleep. During these times she often forgot how to move and was paralysed from fear of the darkness. Vieno often told herself that everyone had their weaknesses, but at times she felt like she had more than everyone else... That was the way she often was, insecure and unsure of herself, at least she'd never have to worry about being to vain.

"Sleep, maybe it is time to head for bed.." Vieno chuckled softly and somewhat nervously. "I'm sure it'd be lovely to stay awake all night but... I suppose I should get more shut eye in the day if I plan to do that," the mare nodded. In all honesty, she wasn't so sure she'd make a full night staying awake, due to many reasons... one of them being her fear of the dark. She admired her new friend Dante, he seemed to be fearless and didn't mind the darkness or shadowy forests around him at all. The mare hoped that some day she too could be brave and fearless. If anything, her new friend was definitely great inspiration, the stallion gave her a sort of bravery that came with happiness she hadn't felt before. Was this what it was like having friends?

"Hmm... the stars surely are beautiful.." the mare sighed to herself softly without looking up at the sky. She'd often wished on the stars, nothing ever came of it but she still continued to try. Vieno was no realist, she liked to dream, her dreams were often the reason her head ran off without her. "I think... stars may just be stars but... it's never really been confirmed... It can't hurt to wish, can it? I mean, a wish is a wish and most don't come true but... everyone likes to at least give it a shot... right?" the mare was talking more to herself than anything so she straightened up and smiled at her friend. Maybe some day her wishes would come true...

"I think stars are made for wishing." he then said, while glancing up at the sky. "Everyone gets chances to wish on them, and I guess sometimes we get lucky. That's what dreams are all about I guess." Sometimes they happened, and sometimes they didn't! "One thing my mother always taught me was to have dreams stored away, but to also try and make them happen yourself. Its hard to get the courage to do that, but it is totally possible." Yes.. and he was always striving, and that kept him happy and secure!

He and Vieno had discussed quite a lot for the day, and he especially liked that. Some of the issues and ideas they had brought up were quite complicated, and to him that was amazing! Usually others were afraid to dwell into such conversation, but he and Vieno just enjoyed themselves along the way! "Its not a bad thing to want to go to sleep, there is no shame to that!" he didn't want to embarrass her, of course.

"Now.. which direction did you come from? I will happily lead you back." He was used to walking his sister home all of the time anyways, since she was an early sleeper as well! "Staying awake all night is really not that great." he then admitted, while smiling at her lightly. "I don't like the night time when its cold or nasty out, but when its really hot its easy to stay awake. Maybe you will try it sometime! I've noticed that many soquili stay awake, since its too hot to sleep." With a light shrug, he moved himself beside her so she could lead the way. "Sumer time is definitely interesting like that."

"Hehe, wishing upon stars seems almost... child-like, but I'll bet you anything adults do it just as much if not more!" the mare sighed happily, liking the sound of Dante's mother. "Your mother sounds so sweet and caring," Vieno smiled, not having a mother to really fall back upon herself. She loved to hear of others tales of their family but often went quiet when questioned about her own. "You must love her... a lot..." the mare said softly, more to herself than to Dante. Soon afterwards she quickly shook her head, "Sorry, not meaning to intrude or anything!"

Hearing Dante mention sleep, Vieno smiled uneasily and looked up at the sky, knowing that sleep was only an excuse. Slowly nodding, she softly responded, "Yes, I suppose sleep isn't just for the weak..." even if she really was being a weakling.

"Just the clearing over that way," Vieno nodded, pointing with the tip of her nose as she inched closer to the stallion. While looking toward a shadowy tree, a bush moved with the wind causing the mare to accidentally move and bump into the stallion. With a quick round of apologies, Vieno moved away from Dante and looked down at the soil beneath her feet. "Yes, perhaps... well, maybe... we can stay awake in the summer together.." the mare said softer than usual.

She didn't figure she'd be staying up all night anytime soon, especially when she normally went to bed soon after the sun started to set...

"Don't worry, there is no intrusion!" He then said, with a comforting tone. "She is very sweet, you'd like her! And I do as well, she saved me and my brother and sister from our father, so we will always protect her in return." Ah yes, their mother was brave alright. Dante loved that about her, her kindness was almost sinful!

"Ah, no worries!" he then added, with a happy chuckle. "No need to be so apologetic, how could I possibly be upset with you anyways?" It was true, Vieno was just too sweet to handle. He wished there were more Soquili out there that were as kind as her. "Ah, so it is not far at all. Sad that we will have to part, eh?" he then added, while looking away himself. But he would see her again, especially when it got warmer! "You don't have to stay up all night you know, that's just me being goofy!" His ideas were always strange, but he never thought too much about it.

As he made his way to the clearing with the mare, he stopped when they had arrived at where Vieno had pointed to, and wondered where it was that she lived. "So.. do you need me to guide you further? I really don't mind!" He just wasn't sure where it was she belonged.. maybe she didn't want to lead him too far? That was always a possibility as well.

Vieno certainly wanted to meet Dante's mother some day, she must have been a great hero to have Dante think so highly of her. The mare sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a loving, motherly figure around, but she figured her life was pleasant enough as is. She had to be grateful for what she had for her life was pretty darn good as far as she was concerned. "It's nice to have a close family, hm?" the mare smiled, heaving a sigh of relief when she saw the clearing.

"Sometimes it's the little things that make others upset... best to let them know it wasn't intentional," the mare spoke softly, she too was now feeling sad that they had to part. Gently nudging him with her nose, she smiled and shook her head, doing her best to cheer her new friend up, "Nah, no reason to be sad! We'll meet again, we're friends now!" Tilting her head to the side slowly, she peered at Dante and shook her head, mane going in every which direction, "Nah, I think I'd like to stay up with you someday... but tonight, I'll sleep!"

That said, she walked forward slightly and once again smiled, "No, I thank you for your kindness but I'm alright now!" Her heart felt a bit heavy, she just made a friend and had to leave them, but she knew they'd meet again. "I hope we meet again soon, Dante!" Vieno whispered softly and turned walk off and bunk down for the night.

He was glad to hear that Vieno would see him again, and he only nodded as she spoke, while also smiling along the way. Next time they would have another adventure, and it would surely be just as fun! "Well I hope you enjoy your rest, and have a nice sleep! Sweet dreams!" He bowed his head one more time before watching the mare walk off, and he stayed put and waited until he noticed her figure had vanished into the open area. What an eventful afternoon for the stallion.. he couldn't believe he had made a friend, and so easily! Dante only shook his head before smiling and turning in the opposite direction, knowing he would be up and busy for the rest of the evening.
