Pausing just beneath the branches to observe the reactions of the other spirits, Kishi turns to make sure she is facing the light. It will be easy to be led astray within the forest, and there is a certain.. ominous feeling coming from the trees. Her ears flick about in a small display of nerves as she realizes that there is no wind, and any movement of the trees is completely their own...
Shaking her head to get herself together, Kishi swallows her fears and steps boldly forward into the forest for the first time. Something about the plants beneath her hooves feels strange, but she has no time to dwell upon it now. The other Spirits are overcoming their fears, and she WILL find that light! The sooner she finds it, the sooner she can leave, so she bursts into motion, running headlong for that glow. Only the way she keeps as much distance between herself and the trees as possible shows her fear, as she stretches her neck out in a full-bore run.

Adfor stopped in his tracks when the group reached the forest, terrified of what might lie ahead. "It look scary in there!" He said loudly to no one in particular. "But that blue light...is so pretty! I want to catch it!" He exclaimed, and then began to walk again, closer to where the forest began. "I'm gonna go in!" He grinned broadly (if thats possible, with a beak), and then began to walk into it.

Ronnie came to a halt right infront of the first trees of the forest. She shivered as she looked up and saw the claw like branches swaying as if they were beckoning to her. Seeing some of the other spirits walk bravely in she thought if they all stuck together maybe it won't be so bad...
With her eyes tightly sealed together she walked in and let out a sigh as she got past the edge of the forest. It really wasn't as bad as she thought but she could still feel her heart beating fast against her chest.

Murrie gave Bicky a blink at her answer before his ears flopped back and he gave a tiny snort,"Well, yes, of course. To the light...But /where/ is that. It just seems to be everywhere really. " Shortening up his normally long hops to plod along side Bicky, better to have someone to talk with, that he knew, then race ahead and get eatten by one of them trees looming up ahead.
The trees did really look odd with their branches going every which way and then some. And so dark! He gave the fingery branches a rather long study, trying to figure out how they could be jumped and climbed to get a better view perhaps and.... Hey...where was...he was falling behind. Just barely catching a glimpse of Bicky vanishing into the under brush of the drak forest.
"Hey, wait up!" Hopping quickly after, his froggly legs allowing him to cover the ground rather quickly. And his size, allowing him to slink and duck under the branches a bit. And in combination with her slower pace, it allowed him to catch up quick enough. "The light seems to certainly be dimmer in here....You think we should be trying to keep together a bit more....Instead of racing on?" An ear flopping forward to some that had already raced on alone. "Just doesn't seem all ta friendly in here to be wandering about alone. Ya think?"

Bicky's ears twitched back at Murrie. She looked back embarassed she had forgotten about him. "Sorry about that," she mumured as she slowed her pace a litte. Her ears swayed as she listened to him closely. "That is a better idea," Bicky agreed with a nod, "I guess I was just caught up in the moment." She gave a small laugh trying to brighten the mood in the bleak and dismal forest. She glanced at the dim blue light hidden by the dense branches. "I guess we move that way."

Settling more into an easy lope as Murrie caught up with Bicky,"Is alright, my legs make it easy enough to catch up." Giving a long jump to show example of what he means before shortening back up his movements though, not wanting to get ahead to much. "It is hard not to just race on....But..." he gives alook about the dark forest they've gone into,"....I don't think I wanna end up wandering about by myself in here, especially not knowing just where this is all going to lead us." Peering in the direction she notes,"It does seem to be strongest over there. Though is so dim compared to before."

Bicky sped up a little as Murrie caught up. "The light does seem to kinda.... put you in a trance or something. I couldn't help but run." She moved alongside Murrie towards the light. Her claws dud into the roots making a sharp crack.

A slight adjustment to his speed had Murrie matching Bicky's pace again. "Yeah..it does seem to have that kind of effect. It's like...you have to go to it." Jumping a bit at the cracking sound and giving a look around,"I wonder where the others have wandered to....if they've all really taken to making this journey on their own." A thought which made him shudder, he certainly did not want to be wandering through the dark place himself.

Kaigen didn't even pause as she entered the trees ... her entire focus was on the blue light. So much so, in fact, that she nearly ran into Murrie and Bicky. At that, she did blink, and stopped. Then she looked up and gulped. "It's scary in here ..." she mumbled. The intertwined branches overhead dimmed the light from above and everything was dark shades of green and brown. It was completely unlike the bright, new green of the grass in the meadow. And though the ground was spongy and somewhat wet, it wasn't cool, soothing water like she was used to.

Bicky kept at the pace she was at and looked over to Murrie, "I'm glad you caught up with me. I was about to go alone too." She shuddered with him, "That would not be good. She heard something behind her and nearly jumped out of her skin. Bicky quickly turned around with fangs bared. Seeing it was only Kaigen she calmed down, "Hey there, sorry bout' that."

Jumping as well, though landing on a low hanging branch to peer back down...never know...could have been a secret forest stalker...killer..bunny-frog eater..thing. Murrie just stared back down a bit before hopping back off the branch,"Er...hi.... Yeah, it is pretty scarey in here." Trying to puff up just a little..pretending he didn't just jump into a tree. "Wanna...stick with us to get through this place?"

Bicky gave a small sigh seeing Murrie jump. Apparently she wasn't the only paranoyed or cautious one around.

Julien snorted haugtily at the other Spirits' frightfulness at the forest. It was nothing more than a bunch of trees! He trotted fearlessly, into the woods, hopping over fallen logs and galloping past the monstrous things that loomed above him.
Somewhere in the distance, an owl screeched. Julien, suddenly dropping his feigned wall of bravery, folded his ears against his head and gazed cautiously up at the treetops. Barely any dark brown shards of light managed to stream through the canopy, illuminating the forest's interior in a way that cast shadows of even the tiniest, wiry trees as if they towered high above its' inhabitants and stretched to the heavens.
He continued on, keeping his ears pinned back and his chocolate eyes focused on the journey ahead and the beautiful blue glow.

Kaigen looked around again, then nodded to Murrie's question. "Y-yea ... that might be better." She had been in the forest a few times before, but never this far in ... and usually she had followed the stream in and been able to swim back out quickly.

"Great." Bicky smiled at Kaigen happy to have one more travel companion. After all 'The more, the merrier'.
