The Enchanted Moon Berry
Long Long ago when Animal Spirits and Humans were first introduced to one another a war had started out between the Animal Spirits. The war did not last too long, before the decision of spliting came to them, some wanting to help the humans stayed and those who did not headed off into the lands unknown beyond there safe meadow. The war had caused many to be hurt and many to die, those who had died there souls stayed restless roaming the the boarders around the meadow allowing none who stayed in the meadow to escape or those who had left to the outside back in.. It was in a way a punishment between the the sides. With the shortage of other animals of their likeness breeding between all spieces came to be and resulted many new and powerful beings. Though not all liked the idea of this.. and fought for the pure to stay pure. Many things took place over the years and many small wars broke out to those who had stayed in the meadow until a small few only remainds...
The Moon Berrys were many back then, gathered for initiations and various ceramonies. As the groups split and the fewer the animal spirits got the less the berrys seemed to grow.. until they were what seemed no longer. The berries were said to do many magickal things, rumors were said that they could grant various powers, heal the ill, change ones own colors, or added other traits of animals to them, there were many rumors on what they could do..
It was a moonless night when it first happened to show in the meadow... a blue glow, faint and far away thougth the woods and into the mountains of the west, the only thing that seemed to shine in the pitch blackness of the night, not even the stars seemed to shine... It seemed to call... call out to those animal spirits who saw it... The mountains to the west was guarded... guarded by souls that were lost in the wars.. but none of the animal spirits who saw it thought about them or the dangers.. they were haunted, haunted by the beauty of one faint little blue light.

A blue glow flowed though the forest, it was twilight, the stars had come out to play among the tainted sky of smoldering colors of what was left of the sun. The light pulsed as if calling to all those around it, winking to the special beings of the lost world.
A young tiny blueish cougar with blue and black wings and a single horn on his head made his way though the meadow! He could not believe what he had seen, he was young.. but he hoped the others would listen when he got to the meeting place.. the light was so hard to resist, he wanted to keep following and not turn back. He bit his bottem lip as he let out a roar as he entered the big barn with all the fresh hey. It was the place everyone came to meet, his own birthing home.
"Its blue!!! Its blue!" He sayed happily jumping into the crowd of spirit guilds that were gathering.
((XD even though my guy is not drawn up yet hehe I am still acting him! Please feel free to start rping!!!))

The small leopard like spirit looked up at him and smiled. "Whats blue?" Her voice was quiet and soft though she looked rather enthusiastic about it. Her yellowish eyes fixed on him as she stood up, her tiny wings folded on her back and her tail swishing behind her, the feather at the tip blow a little in the breeze that had entered the barn as he had. She wasn't quite sure what all this was about but either way, she wanted to know what was blue!

Coming slowly awake, ears twitching at the commotion, the young Foxeer yawns, displaying unusually pointy teeth for a herbivore. Creamy brown eyes blink open, and she focuses on the energetic cub bouncing about. "You are the only blue thing that I see right now..." she mumbles, still half asleep. As conciousness comes slowly to her, she looks about and realizes that there are more spirits present in the barn than she even knew existed! She has, after all, met perhaps two previously. Rising slowly, and stretching as she does so, Kishi waits for the younger spirit to tell her more.
((Well, I STILL don't have home-internet (yet), but as classes have started now I should be able to be on at least once each day during the week, as I need to be on campus for classes then anyway. So, depending on how fast the RP moves/when it moves, I should be able to get at least SOME interaction in.))

Bicky finished of the her part of the fish and smiled happly. Her ears quickly darted towards some loud comotion. She slowly walked into an old tattered looking barn. She looked around nervously seeing new faces. "Hello, mew. What's going on?" she cocked her head sideways in a questioning manner. Bicky took a seat in a small pile of hay.

Nadia moved upon land as easily as she did within water. Every single movement was like liquid gliding upon the smoothest surface. Her muscles writhed beneath her tight black and white flesh, pressing so much against it that one would almost expect her to burst. She was seemed so small yet strong, both mentally and physically. Her aura was kind, and soft .. despite her dark appearance. She approached the group, and smiled warmly.
"What do you see, little one?" she inquired.

Murrie ohed as he watched Bicky catch the fish, his little paws clapping, though not making much sound under the water. Swimming after and enjoying the part of the fish she shared with him, a happy,"Thank you, I did learn something," before diving into the fish. "Oh and this is tastier than the little ones." Happily finishing off his bit His own ears turning round and here, there when the commotion started up. Having a curious look as he hopped along slowly, so not to race ahead and live Bicky on her own. "I do wander what is going on," peering around and giving a few,"Hello," ribbits to a few of the guildes close by. Before finding a spot to set on, making a face as the hay was settled into...So dry and prickly!

Hearing some kind of commotion in the barn, Kaigen poked her head up higher out of the water, peering toward it. After a few minutes, she flopped out of the water and started to sort of half-run across the field toward the barn. She couldn't more quite as fast on land, but she wasn't too bad. "What's going on?" she asked, poking her head in.

Twilight was always a special time for Rehema. The Tigbra walked at a leisurely pace through the meadow; through the cool breeze that brushed gently at her striped coat, through the cool, lush grass. The world was faded to grey, yet there was something ethereal about it... almost as though she were walking in another world. The meeting place was a black shadow against the grey sky, and as Rehema walked closer she could hear the sounds of chattering conversation drifting on the winds. A shape slipped through the grass and entered the meeting place- was there a meeting being held that she had not heard about? Intrigued, the Tigbra began to wind her way slowly through the meadow, drifting ever closer to the barn as she walked. The winds playfully tussled her dark mane and tail as she walked, and the first pinpricks of stars began to wink brightly in the horizon.
The barn began to loom above Rehema as she neared it, and the sounds of the other animal spirits grew steadily louder. Disturbing the peace of the twilight... but she could not always walk alone. She skirted around the back of the barn, and drifted over to the door. Then she entered, keeping to the back, near the doorway. There was no need to ask questions; enough of the same nature had already been asked.

Adfor turned his head as he walked down the path, something had caught his eye. "OOHH! It's blue, and pretty!" He whispered excitedly, seeming even more childish than his age. He pushed off the gorund and into the air, and then turned to the direction of the barn that the blue glow was coming from. He smiled as the last rays of sun reaches out and touched the fethers that covered his face, soaring low to ground, ebcause he didn't want to crash. He was still a young spirit guide, and couldn't fly too well. For once, he was happy to have left DMR, because if he hadn't, he wouldn't be soaring to the pretty blue glow at that moment.
Finally he landed at the front of the barn and ran in on all fours, his tail swishing gently behind him. "Its so pretty!" He exclaimed, more ludly this time, and then walked, slowing down, to the blue glow where several others had gathered.

There was a snort and some sort of primal grunt, followed by the steady, unmistakable gallop-a-trot of hooves thundering against the grass. Already the ground was hardening beneath his feet, and as he sped on, Julien lowered his head to gaze mournfully down at the slowly freezing earth.
A few moments passed as the ring-tailed hybrid trotted through the barn's interior, dark hooves kicking up straws and hay that had been strewn upon the ground, some sort of environmentally-friendly padding an insulation.
It was exhilarating to be free again, free of walls and cages and restrictive barriers meant to hold him captive. A part of him wished to run off into the distance, where his chocolate eyes danced over the horizon slowly - there, he could barely trace the outline of a densely wooded area, much like his former home. But another part of him argued that he was to stay here with his human, for here he had companionship, food, and wide open spaces in which to run and frolic. He had been brought there for a reason, this he knew, and leaving the human could be a grave mistake on his part.
Light filtered inside through the barn windows and small holes in the roof. It bathed each animal in an unearthly aura, and he found that for the longest time he was unable to take his eyes off the other creatures, all of them surrounded by a beautiful pale gold.
"...Blue?"
He folded his strong legs beneath him and laid down in the bedding of the large red building, his eyes kept on the horned cougar, occasionally drifting in the direction of the Foxeer, Tigbra and Skunora. They seemed, if at all possible, familiar to him.

Huffle quickly turned to the youngster that was his age and stuck out his tounge at her quest... he didn't like girls much, they had germs!! Or so he was told.. yuck! what were germs anyways! whatever they were they sounded gross!. "Its outside! But its not like a girl would be interested!" He said letting out a manly squeek of a kitten roar. He turned in circles as he realised he had a crowd around him and his ears flattened to his head as he gulped. He felt skittish now, he wasn't used to so many spirits! "umm.. outside.. you can see it in the hills.." He said bursting into a run to the meadow to look upon it again. The beautiful blue that lured him... it was so pretty he thought as he sat just outside the barn forgetting about the others for a moment. He turned around to see who was going to follow to look, when another spirit almost crashed into him! "Watch it!" He growled a little being only a kit he had many mood swings. He studied the other spirit carefully before skittering onwards into the field. "Lets go get it!!" He said excited... hopeing at least one or two would want to go.. he surely didn't want to go alone... he heard the stories of what would happen to those who went to close to the edges of the protective lands.
The glow poured over the land, letting off a beautiful light. It seemed to come from somewhere in the hills.. on the edges of the protective lands!... but it sang out to the spirits an unheard song, calling softly to all those who gathered.

Bicky followed behind the young kit and looked to where his fury paw gestured. Her sharp azul eyes stared at the unearthly blue in shock and curiosity. The area it was coming from was dangerous, but the light it seemed to call her. It was like it wanted to lead her... somewhere. And she wanted to find out where. She sat behind the kit and put on a expression of thought. This was not to be a rushed decision. Her face tisted this way and that as she weighed the pro's and con's in her mind. Finally after a long while she looked into the hay shyly and opened her mouth to answer, "I'm going...." She looked up slowly to see the others reactions.

That had annoyed her greatly. She was normally a lovely little girl, but that thing needed a lesson taught to it. She snarled and stod up stretching her small wings before running after him, she was incredibly fast for being so small and soon caught up with him, pouncing on him and then running off again after the glowing light.

"Wait, WHAT'S outside?!" she called, then sighed as several of the other Guides ran out. Might as well follow ...
She was glad she was still fairly close to the door. And once she did get outside and looked where they were all turned to, her eyes widened. "Wow, what is it? It's pretty ..." She murmered, staring.
