Sasha was still attached as the buck tumbled to the ground, she felt the ground like a rendering smack, and winced but didn't let go. She would have a bruise at least, that was obvious, but the surprise of the other Ulaya was just what they had needed. Sasha's eyes closed as she bit down just that little bit harder, a rendering snap, and gurgling breath following it. She opened her eyes, to watch Sobie, and make sure he was safe, as the buck went into death spasms, with them still attached.

 At the snapping sound, Sobie let go, it surprised him more than he would have liked. Panting he moved a bit from the buck, sure that it was dying, but not wanting to be kicked as it's spasm caused it to twitch. "Sasha, that was, brilliant! Are you alright?" Sobie was happily just fine, more than that, his blood was racing, as never before. "I must say, you're as swift and strong as you are lovely, my dear, good show."

Sasha was panting as she slowly got to her paw's, a smile splitting her maw she giggled at his wide eyed looked. He looked so excited, and it made her skin tingle softly. "I would not have brought down the buck without you, I owe you... so much." She slowly stepped closer to him, not looking at the creature that went thru its last spasm's. Her eye's shone, and she smiled, "And I'm fine, you take the first bite, you deserve it."

Sobie wasn't squeamish, but eating from a large carcass was such a messy affair that he did not want to appear vicious or unrefined, as ridiculous as that might be for a predator to think.
"Ah, no no, my dear, I relent to you, please do not wait, join me?" he delayed only a moment more, before ducking his head and biting into the fleshy thigh and tearing a chunk away, feeding at a normal pace. He had yet to encounter scavengers in want of stealing from him, this area was quite calm and tame.

Sasha smiled, and as soon as his teeth sunk in she sided her body in close to his. As silly as that was, on such a large meal they could have both easily had room, but something calmed her about the larger body brushing against hers. She dipped her head, pulling at the flesh till it tore away. Her pouch bumped against the carcass, and she chewed slowly. Occasionally her forest green eye's would steal a look up at him as they ate, turning them away whenever she thought he was looking back at her.

Sobie couldn't help but steal glances her way, undisturbed by the blood on their fur and when realizing such fully, really tearing into the meal, it had been some time since he had eaten so well, the buck had been fat and healthy. Usually he settled for much smaller prey, or forgoing meat all together letting his diet consist of berries and other plant-life. He felt a twinge of guilt, this has been the norm for his small 'family' but, he managed a grin at the thought, no longer. With Sasha at his side, if she was willing to stay, of course, their extended families would be much better fed.
After he had eaten his fill he moved aside, settling just a few short feet away, laying on his side and not his full belly, content now to lazily clean his paws and legs.

Sasha only was able to eat a few more bites after Sobie had left her side, before she could eat no more. Her belly was full, and rounded, and she licked her lips. Rabbits and berries were the norm for a single Ulaya to eat, this meal was succulent, and it couldn't have been possible without him.
Her eye's shone as she turned and waddled as gracefully as she could to his side. Or at least a lil away, her body rolled on its side slowly, and she would have licked her paws had she been able to move them. As it was, she giggled, and looked at Sobie with a smile. "I'm stuffed, what about you?"

"Completely." He nudged her in licking his own paws, and at once started to groom her, then he stopped, he'd done it without thinking and he grinned sheepish, but if she had no complaints he would continue. With the meal in his stomach and the heat of the day, he had become drowsy and thus more relaxed.
"Sasha, do not think me too forward but, I would like it very much if we could, see each other, often." He stifled a small yawn and continued, spilling his request out quickly. "I do not have much to offer you, but I should like very much, just spending some time together, if you would like it also?"

Sasha had made a soft sound of surprise as he had begun to groom her paws, her green eye's darted up to him, then softened quickly. She smiled and made another soft sound, her tail bobbing. "Y..Yes, I think I would like that." Her voice was breathy, and a little lost for words. Her eye's closed and she leaned against him, "Alot." Her voice was barely audible for the last word, as she nuzzled against his muscled side before drifting off to sleep. She hadn't even noticed how forward she was being, the heat relaxing her so.

Not thinking her too forward in the least, Sobie knew that his own thinking was behind the times, as it was, he was content to groom her free of blood and when she fell into sleeping, content to let her rest and not shift around any to disturb her slumber. At any rate, he was drifting himself and lowering his head to his paws, joined her in napping.
