Sometimes it is best that it works that way. No one has to really worry about you, for they won't know the true tials and tribulations that you have endured during your journey, because many times, you will not tell them. You'll arrive and smile, and they'll assume everything is fine. For them, that is the best thing you can do. His eyes gazed towards the setting sun, and he watched the colors streak through the sky.
In all of my travels, only a few places have the beautiful sunsets of here. I think that's another reason I like this place so much.

Aiane blinked and smiled. She wasn't really sure what he was talking about, but she had a feeling it was something good. She looked over at the sun set that he too was looked at and he eyes widened. "It's so beautiful!" She exclaimed. Gazing at it with her aqua eyes she tilted her head so she could see him and the sun set. "I've never seen such a lovely sunset!" She let all her attention go straight back to the sun-set. She whinnied out, there was no reason besides she wanted to at the time.

You can only get that shade of gold in the sky around these parts, and no where else. I don't know why, since it is all still the same sky. In other areas, the sky can turn a brilliant pink-red. he explained, though knowing she probably wouldn't hear him. He enjoyed watching her own excietement and joy over the sunset, and he nodded in approval at her whinnied to the sky.

Her ears twitched when he started to talk though her mind was else where. She turned her head to him when she finished her whinning and smiled. "did you say something, Hidalgo?"

He smiled back. Nothing really improtant. I was just commenting on the sunset. And the beauty of it. He looked back at her, and winked before looking back at the sky.

She looked at the sun-set then at him and smiled. When he winked she tilted her head. "Why did you wink?" She was very confused as to why he would..

Because I was pretty sure that you didn't hear me, but that's alright. I'm glad you were enjoying the scenery. Not many stop and look at it anymore. He raised one foot to prop on the ground, to reach down and itch his muzzle against it.

Aiane smiled flicking her ear. "Okay. I don't really understand why people wouldn't watch I mean their so pretty." She put her head and her leg and closed her eyes just enjoying the noises around her, the sway of the grass on her skin, and the wind in her mane.

Hidalgo laid his head down as well, though kept his ears alert for any unusual sounds, and was constantly checking the breeze. Crickets started their nightly song, and a lone owl called from the distant trees as it began its night hunting. A mouse made hardly a noise as it scuttled from the other side of the tree, as it went about its time finding the perfect thing for dinner. The chorus of the day dwellers died as the sun set, and the music of the night began as darkness fell. It was always a comforting song, for it also let him know most times if danger apprached. He had learned to rely on both chorus of day and night to keep him safe out here in the wilds.

Aiane smiled and took in a break of the twilight air. "It's so nice here." She turned to him and opened her eyes just a crack. "No wander you like this place so much."

He nodded. I was born on the plains, so you can say it's in my blood. But there are other things aboutit that you just can't find anywhere else. Normally, during the summer, I try to find a place with trees that's a little cooler, because the plains can get very hot. Though, there are as many dangers in the forest as there are in the plains. But in some ways it's worth it. I'm glad you like it here as well. So many people see it as just a dead place.

Aiane smiled, "So many people are missing out." She nosed at some dirt and snorted at it witch caused small balls of dust to float into the air. She stared at it as it settled and laughed. She did it once more and laughed even harder. "It's so cute how it puffs then falls."

Hidalgo watches ith head tilted as he watched her play with the dirt. You know, I never thought of doing that with dirt before. I must say, I've never seen anyone do that before. She reminded him so much of a filly, that she couldn't be that old at all.

he couldn't help but smile again, noting how much fun she was having, and then a thought occured to him. How old was she really? he hasn't thought to ask, and he wasn't sure he wanted to. It was always dangerous to ask a mare or filly about their age. May I be bold to ask, how old are you Aiane?
