1/11/05 - We tried seperating Nikki and Rufus today while Nova was busy.
Neither one of them was very happy. It seems Nikki has adjusted to Rufus' constant presence.
They act almost like twins, to think of it. Nikki isn't Rufus' sister, however, we suspect since he expects she may look like this sister, he developed a sort of bond with her. Certainly, Nikki's starting to bond to Rufus, and to be honest, they need each other, though I'm not sure why.
Normally Akma and Chunsa burn each other. Rufus forced a way around that. Nikki still wears tank tops and short sleeves, but she started carrying the sweatshirt Rufus gave her so they can make physical contact, atleast, when they both wear long sleeves.
They don't have rimantic feelings, however. But it's still strange how at first it was another screaming fest, then Rufus grew more and more territorial and Nikki grew more and more accepting ever since Rufus escaped his seal.
Whatever the reason, it's worth further observation.

1/11/05 - MOM. DIDN'T. TELL. ME. ABOUT. VINCENT.
On the other hand, I'm used to dead people. It looks like that peice of Garnet he has helps people see and talk to him. He's following me around a bit, too. ^_^; Rufus doesn't like it, but then again, Vincent's very quiet.

1/18/05 - Mom brought in two new roomates yesterday. One has green hair--She's Ami. Then there's a bounty hunter robot, a machine who's basically like a metal human named Spider. According to Ami, Mom broke about ten international laws to get him here, one of which includes ressurecting Reploids. Spider's not too happy, and likes keeping to himself alot. Ami did make an offhand remark though, that Spider needs to stop threatening everyone with his poker deck when they come over to help him make any repairs.
See, he uses playing cards to fight, and their actually pretty potent. Most of us can't use them, so we don't bother. On the other hand, he knows a good bit about weapons, though he criticized how I use my Halberd and Peacemaker.
On the other hand, Ami's nice, but keeps pointing at me and screaming about Darkness. What the hell?
She and Mom have similiar taste in music, only she has an MP3 player and headphones at all times. She also won't take off her coat, which sucks.
Nikki's been sneaking out after Rufus falls asleep. He caught her last night. He pretended to sleep, and waited up. It's kinda cute how close they are.
That Vincent spirit won't leave Nikki alone, though. He's always with her. Strange.

1/19/05 - Nikki has a cold, and Nova is having her dig in that silly mine.
There's nothing down there, I'm sure of it. I'm going to laugh at mother when she comes home emptyhanded again, then I'm taking Nikki to bed for rest. Really, Nova is an idiot.

1/20/05 - Tyson and Sora are taking Namine and I to Rome. heart I'm really excited to see the different culture and the atmosphere. Nikki wants us to see the Vatican, and to tell her all about the Pope. O.o I said we'll see, but she's been sick a few days... I duon't know. Rufus is really worried about her. He's taking care of her, but he's nearly killed himself on a couple off occassions doing it. He really does love her, I think, as much as he can, if he doesn't care that he and Nikki should be incompatible physically. But he's taking care of her just like they were blood related siblings. Alex said it's a psychological reaction, but he isn't sure why both of them are now acting like this.
Nikki's staying home today, and Rufus is staying with her. She's developed a fever and keeps crying for her mother and someone named Zack. Vexen's been tending her when Mom isn't in, and Rufus said he would kill somebody if he didn't get to stay by his sister. I'm worried. What does this mean? None of us know much about her, not even Alex. She just refuses to talk about herself, even with Rufus. Mom's letting her go to the Agency, at best, because it is sacred ground. But anywhere else is even out of the question for Mom. She said she's going to talk to Shinigami about what's going on. I'm worried.

1/23/05 - My cold turned out to be pnumonia, and I'm still sick. I feel sick even right now, but I wanna get out of bed, even if I'm having a hard time breathing.

1/25/05 - We went to the Doctor today. biggrin He said I'm well enough that I don't have to stay in bed anymore, but I'm still on Antibiotics. As long as I don't over-work myself, I should be fine.
No school for the rest of the week to recoup. No helping Mom either, but Alex is letting me sit with Andrea while he tutors her, so my young life is still being spent being taught out of a book.
I can't wait to get back into my training regime, but it'll take a while to get back into it. Stupid pnumonia. >_O I curse you. At this rate I'll never make it into SOLDIER. D:

1/26/05 - Hello. Alexander here.
I haven't gotten out or written much lately, have I? Shameful. Still, I've been tutoring Andrea, and to a degree Nikki. Nikki has been ill and unable to attend school. Vexen and I both suggested Andrea be home schooled, especially after Vexen spoke to me of her lineage. A princess, I suppose, is even capable of becoming a Chunsa if the gods will it. I mean no ill of her, it just came as a suprise. She's very down to earth and warm, quite unlike how I was taught princesses were to be. The little one,
Rose, is almost always with her or Marluxia. The Heartless, Squishy, is also usually a constant companion. Still, I also puzzle over a mystery of my own. Andrea seems so familiar, from where I cannot place.
When I look into her eyes, breifly I see the gold of someone else, as if another conciousness is dormant in her mind. Marluxia seems to know of it, and says nothing. Whatever it is seems to only show when she starts to get angry. Less and less, she allows that to happen. I fear this second mind may try to force itself into the open, as if it were waiting for something. I spoke to Vexen of my concern, and he and I have been researching magics to exorcise it, and, hopefully, ensure it cannot cause harm again.
Vexen says it is the corrupt soul of her father, the Lord Ansem of Hollow Bastion... Yet....
The name, and place, feel familiar. As if it suits the life I live in my dreams....

I may have heavy internet time constraints, but I figure out in-family stuff to occur when I can't be on to RP, to keep them active, atleast, between plotting and RP. XD Especially poor Vexen and Alex. Damn quiet... >_> wink )
1/27/05 - I notice Nova and the lady who runs the Chunsa Agency have been writing in our journal.
It's officially becoming the public noteboard, now? o_O; Oh well.
I'm happy I'm out of bed. Nova's brother, Tseng, called to say he was mailing out some papers and some other... Stuff. He was smirking. Mom was asleep so I took the message.
Now, Tseng is Nova's brother, but they look totally different. I asked if it was a genetic fluke, and Nova explained his parents adopted her, apparently a big deal to her because otherwise she was a "Lesser Youkai" or something. Apparently one can't be a regular youkai until you have two parents with you for like, a year or two or something, adoptive or not. Weird.
Kinda explains why Fromage is like... Lesser. But Half. But... I'm confused, but anyway, thats what Tseng said. I like him, he's pretty reasonable. Well, that and he scouts for SOLDIER. Er-hr-hrm. >.>; I'm not hoping I get recruited... Not at all. I'm innocent.
....I should get back to working out as intensely as before though. I'm starting.
Scribbled below the entry is a note in Rufus' handwriting.
Nikki, all you talk about is joining SeeD or SOLDIER. That's the whole damn reason you train. If it weren't for the fact you were my sister, I'd be calling you a dumbshit right now. - Rufus

1/28/05 - Andrea's packing to leave for Rome tomorrow. He's been almost silent, and this worries me....
Larxene... He raped her, and she's pregnant. I'll never forgive that b*****d for using her like this. I swear to forever stand by her side.
What's interesting is Rose refuses to leave Andrea's side. She's quite upset that Andrea's going awayt a few days. My daughter....
She was speaking to the flowers in that language only she, Andrea, her brothers, and the Heartless understand. She is my child, and I am her father. I know this for certain.
If only she would smile and acknowledge me as her Daddy.
