~ Sirius Black ~
As Sirius walked back to the compartment, he opened one of his Chocolate Frogs. He managed to catch in midair as it leaped out of the packaging. Grinning, he bit a leg off and by the time he and James had reached the compartment, Sirius had eaten the entire frog. Sirius listened to what James said in agreement. "We sure did," said Sirius nodding, and then laughing along with James. Sirius looked carefully at his next Chocolate frog. "You know, I think we ought to see if we can't find ourselves some trick sweets to give to old slimeball over there," he said, pointing at the compartment across from them. "Wouldn't that be a laugh?" ~ Lily Evans ~
"Sure," Lily replied to Severus's inquiry about playing chess. "I don't know if your going to win, but it should still be an interesting game." Lily laughed a little with Severus, wondering if she would, in fact, win again. Though this may have been the case, she still wanted to keep the game interesting.

((on train going to hogwarts. you can go into james and sirius' compartment i guess. For me red writing= James potter, Olive writing= Severus Snape, for Arabella Wryn: black= Sirius Black and pink= Lily Evans))

James smirked. "I got some fake candy and other awesome gag tricks from Zonko's in my trunk. I think slimey will be a good first target with them." he said snickering, opening his trunk to reveal dungbombs, fake candy, and a lot of other mischivous items. He then grabbed a fake chocolate frog and showed to Sirius. "See? Looks totally authentic." he smiled.

Severus smiled. "Do you want to be black or white?" he asked happily, but already knowing the answer. "You know, i wonder what those two idiots are doing right now.... probably pretending to be all macho and cool no doubt." he laughed.

Sirius nodded approvingly at James stash of trick stuff. Looking at the fake frog Sirius said, "That ought to fool the old slime ball. I'm not worried about him coming up with any plan to back at us and even if he does I'm sure he'll...slip up." Sirius laughed at his playing with words; slime ball and slip up. It would be a great first year playing pranks, hanging out with James, and learning magic.~ Lily Evans ~
"White," said Lily confidently. "Well their definition of 'macho' is a whole lot different than mine and it's not my problem if they are out there acting like idiots. Serves them right. Let's play!" Lily sat for a moment before making her first move. When she spoke, the pawn farthest to the right moved forward two spaces.

James laughed at Sirius' use of words. "Lets go over there now and offer it to him as an 'appology'." he said grinning. "I can be sincere if I want to." he smirked leading the way out of the compartment.

Severus looked down at the chess board and concentrated on it. He then moved one of his pawns forward. He then looked up at Lily and smiled "Those guys probably have had rich, preppy, pureblood lives. Thats why they are so cruel and mean." he said.

Sirius nodded and said,"I hope he takes it." Sirius stood up and followed James out of the compartment. He reached up and knocked on the compartment door, not wanting to burst in so his appology would look more sincere. ~ Lily Evans ~
"I bet they do. Maybe they'll get over themselves within their own lifetime, but I doubt it," Lily said in reply. She laughed a little at her own comment.

Severus walked over to the compartment door and opened it, there were the two boys who had got him earlier with dungbombs. "what do you want?" he aske at them angrily.

James put on a sincere face. "We are both so sorry for the accident earlier and we came here to appologize. Please take this chocolate frog as a token to show how sorry we are." James said it with remorse and sorrow.

Lily came to the door behind Severus and listened what James and Sirius had to say. She knew that there had to be some kind of trick behind the smile on his face, but didn't want to deal with him. The Chocolate Frog seemed okay, it looked like the real deal. "Just go on and take it, Severus." Lily said, staring at James and Sirius in an irritated sort of way. What were these boys up to? ~ Sirius Black ~
Sirius put on a serious face, almost laughing as he thought about the phrase. Sirius put on a serious face. Still, he managed to hold his serious expression. "Yeah, we're sorry," Sirius said in the most sincere voice he could muster.

James smiled kindly at Lily, and then looked at Severus. "We are truely sorry Severus." he said handing him the chocolate frog. He was determined not to laugh until he had opened it, which was turning out to be rather difficult.

Severus took the frog from James, not really trusting it. He stared at it for a moment and then took the wrapper off. Inside, the frog was coated a green and orange striped color, obviously not normal. Then the frog turned around to face Severus and squirted some liquid into his face. Severus' face then had stripes of green and orange painted onto it. He dropped the 'chocolate frog' and then felt his face. He had bumps on his face now to.

Sirius nodded at James comment and struggled to fight off his internal laughter. He watched as Severus took off the wrapper and got squirted in the face with paint. He was just about to burst out laughing, when he saw a wand pointing straight at his face.~ Lily Evans ~
Lily watched as Severus opened his candy and had paint squirted over his face. She was furious about what had happened. Before they could laugh or do anything, she grabbed her wand at pointed it straight at James and Sirius's face. She had a furious expression on her face.

James was looking at the wand. "You know, if you do attack somebody on the train, you could get a detention, sweety." he grinned at her. "So, what is your name anyway?" he asked curiously, smileing

Lily was even more angered by James calling her sweety. She did put her wand down, not wanting to get detention, but immediately after her hand was by her side, Lily used her other hand to punch James in the face, hard. "And the name's Lily," she said. ~ Sirius Black ~
Sirius smiled at the same time as James. There was no way she could attack them on the train and get away with it. His smile faded though, when she punched James in the face.

James was surprised by the punch. His nose was now bleeding some, as he put his hand up to it. "What was that for....Lily?" he asked, in pain. He then just looked up at her angered face.

Lily smiled, satisfied that she had finally gotten back at him. "If you don't know the answer to that you're dumber than I thought. The reason should be obvious. Now if you don't mind, I have better things to do than stand here. Goodbye,..." Lily said, pausing because she realized that she didn't know his name.
