Damien tensed, Alura! he called out with his mind, focusing on the creature who had just broken his web for the third time, Alura, is that you? A muffled mental grunt of acknowledgment was his reply. Where the hell have you been? You can't just wander off like that you little idiot!
Alura Morphiana stalked closer to the tavern's entryway Good grief Damien, I wasn't gone that long, I was just checking out the surrounding area. We haven't been to this part of Rodasia before, I figured I should plan out a few escape routes in case things go awry.
Something could have happened to you! he persisted, Its foolish to wander about in unfamiliar territory without protection.
Without protection? she scoffed, Not only are my jewels darker than yours, but who is going to attack me in THIS form? With that last thought, the small red fox vixen slipped behind a bush and shape shifted back into her natural form; a short, red haired young woman, with generous curves and a mischievous twinkle within her gray-green eyes. She glided into the tavern rather dramatically, smiling suggestively at any man who happened to glance her way before taking the empty seat next to Damien. "Whats with him?" she nodded towards Sinis, who managed to look dignified despite the ale dripping from what seemed to be his chin, and down his entire front.

(Uh oh, just saw Ignatios's second post) His breath hitched in his throat as the warm pressure of Ignatios' hand settled onto his shoulder. The voice whispering in his ear aroused more than his immediate attention. "yes Master!" he replied immediately, and watched as Ignatios departed up the stairs with Dios in tow.
"Stay here" He whispered to Alura, "I don't want you getting involved in this. If anything happens, defend yourself, but otherwise just try to lay low." Before the last words left his tongue he knew it was a hopeless request, Alura had never been able to contain herself, she had a certain.... Something about her that always seemed to draw attention, and very frequently, danger. Please try he pleaded as he disappeared up the stairs.
"Right, lay low, she whispered dutifully, and managed to keep her promise for a few minutes before growing bored and beginning to attempt conversation with giant. "Wow, your definitely not from around here, erm... What are you exactly?"

As Dios and Damien joined Ignatios in the room, his expression quickly changed from flirtatious to serious. as Damien shut the door Ignatios spun around to look at them. "So do either of you have a clue as to what that thing is at the bar? And what is with the hole in the wall!?!" his voice sounded frustrated and his face was less than pleased, but it didn't tarnish his elegance.

"I can't be sure master, but I believe the creature is from Draeutia." Damien replied hastily, "I'm not sure of his species, but there was some volcanic ash on his boots like that found in the fire realm."
"As for the hole, a strange woman with feathered wings crashed through the ceiling not long before the creatures arrival. I wondered if they were familiar with each other, but that doesn't seem to be the case." He glanced at Dios, his stomach fluttering oddly. Dios So that was his name, he was thrilled to find that the man was a comrade, he would have hated to have to spill his blood.

Sinis sat there asking for more and more of the beverage. Though it did not effect Sinis in anyway, he thought it tasted better then water so he couldn't stop drinking it.

Ignatios paused for a moment and rested his hand on his chin. "Hey, you know he makes a good distraction. while everyone keeps their eyes on the strange figure, we scope out the good jewels and take them to a quiet place with out anyone really noticing." his eyes brightened. Ignatios drapes his arms around Dios and Damien "Once this mask is full, we will rule the realms" a twisted grin grew on his face.

"Right as usual master, I'm afraid I didn't get a good look at any of the prospective victims," he shrugged self-consciously, "Perhaps we should return to the main room and review our options." Damien straightened automatically, " We will rule the realms!" He agreed swiftly, "Shall we go?" (Spoof? Where art thou? Night, Auren, Baz, Fuzzy, are you writer's blocked?)

Ive excused the helpers for the night, it was getting late and they had other plans to attend to. She swept up the dust behind the bar and cleaned some glasses. then checked and stocked her shelves. her mind has been racing since she got back from her other bars on Enthelda. so late that she hadn't notice the peculiar crowd gathering downstairs, and she had a new comer sitting quietly at the end of the bar.
"what can i get ya, hun?"Ive said with a smile.
the girl looked up from her daze and asked, "Could you kindly direct me to a man named Ignatios? i heard he was supposed to be at this bar tonight."
Ignatios, huh? what have you become... i wonder?, Ive thought as she stared at the black and white photo hanging in on her mirror. "Sorry sweet heart, i haven't seen the man in years... i couldn't help ya."
The woman slouched over, "Another trail gone cold..." A tear slid down her pale porclain chin.
Ive rushes back to her side, "Hey hun! don't cry! what does this man mean to you anyways? hell, if he hurt you just say the word i'll be on his a**!" Ive became flustered in her random burst of anger, "hell, i thought i raised him better than that," she muttered to herself.
She looked up, "oh! no no! he didnt hurt me, but he might be able to help me. i've been told that he removes jewels, and i need to know what level i am... Phantom Quartz or Onyx?" she looked at the wall with glazed eyes recalling the events of her past in her mind.
"well hun, if i find him i'll put a word in for ya." Ive went back to cleaning.

((Sorry for the absence...-wince- I'm trying to stay away from my long absences that have happened in the past, I just had issues getting ready for school. Was gone up north, then I was at Baz's, then I was at the fair, then I had Fuzz, Jade, and Bri over, and now school is started. I'll make a point of logging on everyday and posting in here at least once, even if no one else has. Can I drag characters around?))
Dios gazed at his 'master' with a slightly bored glint in his eyes. The man was a means to end his boredom in running a realm. Elda was better at it than he was, and she was probably more suited to it as well. He winced when he thought about what she would do when she found him.
That morning Dios had sent his 'cute little assistant' off to attend the meeting in Arynia for him. He had used the excuse that he had other important business to tend to in the realm and couldn't go because yes, he had to do things now, and no he wasn't make (much of) it up. The woman had glared at him suspiciously, but had accepted that she wouldn't be getting his real reasons out of him in time for the event. So Elda had left her King to his own devices for the day.
As soon as Dios was sure she had left, he had morphed into a small black snake and made his way out of the castle without anyone the wiser. He didn't intend to come back...unless he grew bored of his current activities. Dios would be the first to admit however, that he found the practice of murder distasteful. So he made sure to only steal jewels from drunks and bad people.
Consequentially, he had a smaller collection than most of his compatriots, and they were mostly lower level jewels. On days when Ignatios would bring him a powerful jewel to steal, he would take it without complaint, knowing that should he grow bored (as he knew he would eventually) he could always just return the jewel. Of course, there was still the matter of dying horribly as your jewel is cut out, but he wasn't going to concern himself with such things.
When Ignatios inquired about the jewels downstairs, Dios thought back to what he had seen in the inn.
"There will be no need to return downstairs, I caught sight of some nice jewels among the drunken patrons of the bar. Two Rhodonites, an Amethyst, a Purple Sapphire, and there were...four, I think, rose quartz passed out in front of the bar." he interrupted his companions.

(im back! i got my uber laptop. wow not a whole lot of progression) Sinis grew tired of the beverage. He stood up from the half broken stool, and looked at the bartender. Little human, I thank you for your service for the special water. Sinis began to take his leave of the tiny building. Looking over at the bird creature, he realized that it was nothing important and merely lost intrest in it.

(You know I don't think I've been playing Damien in a way that really represents the way I picture him, and his personality. So there will be a few abrupt changes in my style, and the overall mood of his posts, but I will try to be regular from now on ; ) Oh right, and I'm not ready to put of Draeutia yet. We don't really need it, and its still in planning stages (my notebook) So I'll probably add it next plotline )
Damien glanced around the room with a bored sigh, his interest piqued only slightly at the mention of the jewels. Thankfully, Dios hadn't seen The Lapis lazuli embedded in Alura's flesh. She had wisely chosen to wear a high collared cape along with her usual traveling ensemble.
Damien's expression hardened as he felt his temper rushing towards a lethal precipice, but he managed to sheath it after a moment of internal struggling. The older Alura got, the harder it was for him to control her. The foolish young woman seemed dead set on putting herself in dangerous situations, constantly requiring saving. She could have very nearly been his next assignment. It would have been very trying to his patience to have to pretend to chase Alura all over the countryside until he found another Lapis Lazuli jewel to replace hers. Much less the trouble of having to battle a ,doubtlessly, more skilled magic user. Following Ignatios was becoming an inconvenience.
A smirk of a smile touched his full lips, Ignatios' plans were a temporary amusement. Masters came and went, with their diabolical plans to gain power and fortune, but He himself always remained. His stomach fluttered as he glanced over at Dios, well, maybe this time he would surface out of this latest job with more than bloodstained hands and a pocketful of coins. The jewels didn't interest him, not really, he stole them anyways, to maintain appearances, but he always gave all of his small conquests to Ignatios. Unlike the underlings who often kept a jewel or two for their own selfish purposes. Killing people had never really bothered him in the past. He had sold his sword, and his skills for years now, but there was something... Sickening, about watching as the magic bled from his unsuspecting victims as well as the the blood. In the beginning he had stolen only the lighter jewels, with the occasional Bloodstone thrown in for good measure, but Ignatios preferred quality over quantity. Now, Damien would surface every once in a while to toss Ignatios a bone or two before going on his way. It paid well, and if Ignatios' plan succeeded he needed to remain on his good side.
"Well, whats the plan then?" He questioned idly, "Should we go for the purple sapphire?"
