Sapphire rolled out of bed and looked at her cellphone. 'Oh damn' she thought, 'Late again.' She quickly got dressed. Today she thought she would go for the more slutish look. She wore a halter top that showed off her belly ring and a mini skirt with 2 inch platform shoes. She ran out side and got into her black jeep and started it up. She cranked up the music because it was her favorite somng (Becoming the Bull by Atreyu) and laughed. If her friends could hear the music she listened to when she was alone that would surely remove her from the squad and make someone else captian. She drove 70 in a 45 to get to school before her dad found out she had been late. When she got into the parking lot she saw that she wasnt the only one late today. She noticed that Matthew and Rebacca and a few others were also walking up to the school enterace. She parked in her normal space and juped out of the car. Gradding her buffel bag and purse and jogged up to the door past everyone. She opened the door and ran to her locker. She grabbed her A.P. Calculus book and headed her class. She hid the math book in her bag while walking past some of the younger girls on the squad. She knew they wouldnt believe her if she told them she actually used the Calculus book. Actually the more she thought about it the more she realized that no one except the people in her class would believe she used it. She hated the fact that everyone thought she was stupid. 'Who cares' She thought as she slipped in the room and took her seat in the back of the class. 'I dont care what these people think. Ive already been excepted to Yale and im only 17.' She opened up her book and answered the question that was on the board. It didnt suprise anyone anymore now that they have gotten use to the beauty having brains. 'How ironic.' Sapphire thought as she drew in her note book. 'The beauty has brains but no date to prom.' She sighed and looked around the room. Then she put her head on her besk and fell into a light sleep waiting for the next bell to ring.
