"Nice technique, you overlooked one thing however..." He grinned throwing his bat like wings dangerously down towards the overs head, the many small spikes at its tip were aimed towards the center of his vision and with a pleased smile he at least thought this would work. If it didn't he had another idea in mind.
Focused, he watched the other and hoped his wings held a distraction. "That is, a dangerous thing to put yourself in, horns do snap after all" he evilly cackled, tilting his head aside and throwing it down hard, before thrusting himself upwards, rearing once again.
Taharial's worried eyes, caused her jaw to drop and her to step forward a step, then turn her head away towards the bark of the tree. "No... i must stay" she whispered to herself, eying the sky above them, grey clouds were falling into the crimson delight faster, growing as they fought. A feeling twinged in her chest, with a bad feeling she tucked her wings tight aside her.
"I pray, please be safe... My Prince" she softly prayed, closing her eyes the tiny drip of moist landing at the end of her muzzle.

Jo wrapped his angelic wings around hie head they where not the strongest thing in the world but they where some if not any protection, the spikes went into them causing them to bleed but at least his head was fine. He knew what was coming next though and the thought made him sigh.
He mirror imaged the Kalona going down when he did and rearing up as he did, he had done this lots of times before but unfortunately it only worked half of the time.
"I am sure yours will break before mine does, Unicorn horns are magic dont you know and if you notice mine is protected by its glow," he stated with a small glare. This was tough on an old man.

The kalona smirked, watching the slow trickling blood stain his pure white head wings, with a laugh he shook his head skisto, his eyes widening, strained by the crazy thoughts siding and subsiding in his mind. He threw his hoof forwards towards the neck of the other, then pushed himself backwards so he would land on his back, if anything to free or break his two horns. "The pain I feel, will be nothing you have coming to you" he hissed.
His wings shot back from their mighty plunge, falling along with the Kalona, sweeping the ground as it neared. He was also quite old, but the routine, habits never got old. It was a mental state and in his head the oly thing he saw was red and his targets death.
"Jo!" Taharial called, seeing the blood, shaking her head, a large quake shook the skies, and now the sky wasn't seen at all through the endless grey, water fell from the heavens, agitated by the creatures beneath it. This couldn't be good. The fight was dangerous now, but if the floor was damp, it made it more riskier. She walked further towards the scene and peered around a tree to get a clearer view. This was too horrible to watch... But she found herself doing so anyway.

Jo pouted for a second, this was not really going his way now was it? He sighed as he closed his eyes and took a deep breathe in before he got ready for it, this was awful to say the least. He felt himself getting tossed around a lot which was fine it was all apart of his plan.
He took a deep breathe in before he fell back with the Kalona he saw no point in destroying its horns it was a no win situation if they snapped, for one the Kalona would be free to attack him and two you can not feel your horns so he would not even get any time where the other was wincing in pain.
He looked at the Kalona his nose touching his cheek still as he smiled. "Awww bigs isnt this sooo romantic. Wanna dance some more?" He stated as he liked his cheek with a wide charming smile.

Was he taunting him? This stallion looked smug, like it had been done time and time again, just another skipping stone in his path.
The kalona snorted fiercely, eying the angelic opposer in strict determination, he was no fool, and discretely held many many options to follow and decide within his head. Now Jo was aside of him he could easily slip from his grasp by throwing his head sidewards, he did so and rolled over, his back flattening the damp terrain beneath as he came to grips with it again kneeling on his knee joins. He placed a firm hoof on the ground pulling himself up a little before sending his head forwards towards him.
"Of course, the dance has to come to an eventual end, it always does." he smirked, growling humming low in his speech.
Taharial watched and briefly closed her eyes now calmer. Life would do as it would, events happened in the sequence it was destined to. She let the howls of the wind captivate her thoughts, this fighting... It was never going to stop was it? As much as a world without would be perfect, some, especially males were built to fight, for bravery, pride and self domination. She slowly opened two pale eyelids to reveal onyx orbs taking in the scene , rain kissing the ground passionately as it kept growing faster. Her faith was kept securely; grateful for his efforts to keep her safe from harm.

Jo felt the mud stain his pure white floor, it was a shame he always tried to keep it up to perfection, he was always prefectly pearly white, he was a gentlmen after all and because of that image was off imprtance but not as much as his so called charm and grace.
God! how he hated Kalona, that was an undestatement, he wanted to kill them all there wasnt anything as unpure and as stomach turning as a Kalona, they where the skum of the Earth and below, he believed that everyone needed at least one chance but there was something about this guy he really didnt like.
Jo pouted as he looked up at this guy he sure was full of hot air to say the least, he blinked seeing that he was able to stand up slightly, he stared at him in a quick thought prossess before he rolled over to the side before he looked up at him with a small smirk, he was now covered in dirt from head to hoof and was a good few meters away from the Kalona.
He blinked and looked around there was not really anywhere to run or hide this sucked and what was more the water was making him cold it was awful he always felt really sick when he got cold and it was not helping the situation. He smiled his name dripping onto the floor he wondered where Taharial was.
There was a silence which echoed threw the forest before he tilted his head in wonder. This was strange he only knew he needed to get out of her soon, he gave a cold glare to the other panting slightly as he licked his moist lips and cracked his neck it was causing him problems.

Taharial watched in Joseph's discomfort. It was hard to resist the urge to stop them, but finally she rebelled against it, it had to end there was nothing too it. Taharial was rather peaceful, but she knew when something went too far and that all things have to end, especially fighting, there shouldn't be a beginning of such a thing.
The kalona watched him, in his disappointment, the ivory pelt slipped from his blurred gaze, the darkness had grown thick, the spruces defying his visions with there overhanging limbs. Pulling himself up, he shook his head, the earth blood knotted bangs bouncing against charcoal skin.
Taharial took this opportunity to dart out from behind the spruce and circle around the blond maned Alicorn, her dark eyes one with the shadows. "Please, this has to stop!" She called quietly at a whisper."Come, let us escape and find shelter, the chill has descended, it wont be too long befoe it takes a toll on you" She stated, gently nudging his neck to the side, feeding him direction to free their brood.
The dark beast heard whispers, snorting at the thought of their retreat, if it wasn't of their bright coats, it might of worked, however his gaze was settled on where they stood, not ten paces away. A smirk curled, a large gash of lightening forked the sky. "where will you run" he hissed. "wherever you go, I will be sure to find" his laughter echoed like a thousand sins crawling along their skin.

Jo blinked as he looked at her and tilted his head taking a deep breathe in as his gaze jumped from the Kalona to her ever few moments before he looked to the side gritting his teeth slightly before he looked at her and nodded.
"Come on then lets run." He stated as he looked towards the forest and nudged her with a small smile he knew what she was like so he wanted to do what she did to make her happy. He ran threw the forest looking for somewhere to hide before he looked back to make sure she was okay, he knew this Kalona was not going to give up easy, so he thought it was best if they keep moving.
"are you okay?" he asked gently trying to comfort her.

Ah. He had accepted the need to retreat from the battle which made her sigh in great relief. As he took off, she pushed forth with her back legs, sending her after him. He was fast too. she had always been good at running, in cases like this she was happy to have that ability.
Following them was the beast who watched their take off and thought of it as troublesome. This made it more fun. The game was continuous now, like mice in a labyrinth, the hunter always one their tail until one wrong move. Bam! -However victory wasn't clear so early on.
She heard the hooves behind them pounding against the earth beneath their quivering hooves, her own thoughts trailed with the restless wind, but she couldn't quite make out what Jo felt, the endless branches stopped her from focusing on that, but keep her concentration on her own running. "I am fine, don't worry" she smiled, hearing his voice. "Just keep running, find somewhere to hide" she replied encouraging the idea as she gazed back for a moment.
At last, after a while it seemed as though the pounding had stopped, surroundings silent with only the whispering shadows. Taharial came to a steady halt, nostrils flaring whilst inflamed breath poured from them; panting heavily. "A-are you okay?" she finally brought herself to ask, nearing him in her chance to catch breath.

Jo looked over at her with a small smile as he also came to a halt running was fine slowing down was another matter, his blood stained fur was now sticky the Kalona thankfully had only been able to hurt his head wing he was fine everywhere else which was good the fact was he was fine and clearly was not going to die of blood loss even though seeing the wound you would think he was going to.
"I am fine dont worry about me, anyways come on." he stated with a small smile he did not really want to stop until they had found shelter, he looked around and blinked seeing a small cave near by wow that was handy, he thought before he chuckled lightly. "looks like where in look, lets rest for a while, we might still make the sun set." he stated with a small chuckle before he made his way towards the cave in thought, this day was turning out eventful indeed.
He laid down near the back wall out of sight of everything before he awaited the arrival of his new found Princess.

"I'm glad you are alright... Even though the cut on your wing looks deep" She held a concerned expression, but it was short lived knowing he was an Alicorn, who had looked to have experience on the matter before today. His wounds would heal, rest would assure that. Giving him time.
Taharial made slow pace into the cave, damp nettle stems clogging up the fine feat feather as she lifted her feet up, then back down onto the terrain. Once inside she lowered her head, nibbling, tugging gently on the stems, then throwing them aside before joining Joseph at the back wall.
It would be safer here, nothing could see them, at first glance. Only if another creature were to think the same would they run into company. She chuckled at the darkness and the still silence, lowering her body to the ground beside him. She hoped she wasn't too close the last thing she wanted was to be rude. "That could be possible" She over came a sweet smile, pressing nose against his cheek.
"You were brave out there." admitting, the soft beat of eyelids came together, trickling water sounding melodies throughout the cave which dark possessed. What a fine cave he had found, nothing finer to catch rest,a peaceful sound to appreciate.

Jo smiled as she came closer to him. He turned his head to face her as he complemented him on his bravery today. A small smile came onto his lips a very light blush spreading across his face before he rested his head on her. He was glad all the excitement was over he was tired and starting to feel slightly sick but he was not going to let her know that, she had a good heart and he did not want her to be worrying about him to be honest there was no need to do so.
"Thank you but it really was not anything, I would have done a lot more if you got into trouble, I find your stronger when you are fighting for others rather than yourself." He stated with a small nod before he closed his eyes the rain was making tapping noises and as it splashed against the roof. Today was turning out to be quite the adventure this was no good on Jo's poor little heart. Than again his heart was filled up with feelings he had never felt before at the moment there was only one thing... no person.. on his mind.

Taharial's eyes slid sidewards, finally eyelids opening so peering was made easily. She listened to him, he spoke through wisdom and heart. A purer smile came to her lips and she gently rested her head against him, his head a comfort to her it gave a 'safe' feeling, a close needed feeling...
He was cold. Colder then anyone normally was, that was something the angeni could work out for herself, that could be with the pouring rain he'd restlessly fought in, but even then, his body should have worked with him. She edged closer, keeping him near to share her warmth - aside, the shelter of the wall, saving his skin from any wind that might of rendered him freezing sooner or later.
"That could be, but if you were to be harmed. Thats a different matter for both you, and the one your fighting for." Her whisper echoed lightly and she closed her eyes once again, his voice a blessing right now. "I hope you feel when it s time to give and slink away." she smiled. "Thats a strength greater than blind battling to the end..."

"hmm" Jo listened as he closed his eyes for a moment trying to think on things, he understood her point but he lived ever day of his life ready to fight for the end, mainly because before today Jo had nothing worth really living for. Accept the dream that one day his sister might of come back to him. That seemed like a really distant hope. There was a crash of thunder outside as he was suddenly awakened from his day dream.
He yawned and looked down at her as he turned his head. "So Taharial please tell me more about you, I know I keep asking but then again I could listen to you talk forever if i could." he stated before wrapping his wing around her once again. "or maybe you want to ask me somethings?"

Taharial let his wing slide over her and let her own, high wing, rest along his shoulders, curling the tip by his neck, only vaguely brushing it like a tickle. That was something to ask, she hadn't thought on what else to tell but for him, she could find something, anything.
"Well... Lets see" Her tone rang, the deep thought taking her. The thunder made her jump, unaware, then jerk up to lightly fall into ease with his presence again. "My family, I feel, is tightly woven together by the main herd. Which would be me and my six other siblings... Then our parents. Outside of that, its scattered, to me at least. Reaper, one of my four brothers has children to different women, his poor heart keeps breaking endless but he has calmed, although from what I have heard. Which is a great thing. He recently just had more children with a beautiful unicorn. I can't wait to see" Her sweet smile spread, in thought of the family increasing. More the merrier. they were all welcomed.
She found it hard telling things about herself, her family she could talk about for long lengths of time, but she only listened to others, rather than being asked herself. It was change. "Myself.. I'm curious about the world, I love knowledge, anything new that fills the skies, the earth, nature I'll hunger for a time to be taught. I lived a life, wanting to be around my family to finding myself exploring little plots of land when they were busy. Exploring was fun as a child, I met a lot of people that influenced me during growing up. They are amazing beings..."
She rolled on, settling her head more comfortably under his head, by his neck. "Apart from your charms, my prince... Do I have the honor of also knowing more?" She asked, her cheeks were a warm pink, but it was dark so it was less visible.
