Feeling everyone's anticipation as well as his own it took all his control to keep from leaping at the buck. He waited for Eden's signal then the buck would be theirs. He could almost taste the sweet blood inside his mouth. Hoping that no one would get hurt he gave his sister an annoyed look. He wanted to go and now!

She chortled under her breath at Eris' impatient look. She flicked her tail when they were in charging distance and stopped in her tracks, looking around to make sure everyone was ready. She met everyone's gaze and then in one, stiff nod, she shot off with impressive speed. (Translating that into the signal to charge) She looked around for the rest of the pack to follow the lead, while her jaws laid open, waiting to crush what ever next would be trapped in them.

Less than a second later, Eros followed after his sister. Instead of closing the distance between them as he would usually do, he veered away instead, trusting that Ravenfall could fill in for him. He darted closer to the retreating herd, trying to frighten the small buck they were after away from the safety of the others. He growled savagely, managing to slow it down a bit as it reared. He wasn't stupid and he knew that trying to kill it on his own would be suicide so he dodged its flailing hooves instead and circled it, keeping an eye on it and looking around for the others at the same time. However, he was just one helix and he hadn't managed to chase all the others away. A large doe kicked out at him as she stomed by and caught him square in the face. He yelped, falling back, glad that the kick was unintentional for if it wasn't, his skull could have been crushed by now. He cheek was bleeding but he ignored it, instead looking around wildly for the small buck that had managed to escape.

Eros's trust was placed well.
Ravenfall followed after Eden briskly, eager to hunt and enjoy a fresh kill. His bright eyes flashed cheerily and he could practically taste the fresh blood of the deer in his maw. He closed the distance, taking the place that Eros would of under normal circumstances, and readied himself.
He knew well the dangers of taking on a doe. A single, well aimed hoof could easily kill a helix. He grimaced as the hoof struck Eros in the face. The young buck darted off and Ravenfall quickly gave chase, trying to keep it isolated from the main portion of the herd. He hoped he'd be able to startle the buck to one side, but if his plan would work was unknown to the black and indigo male.

Placed on his sisters other side Eris began enlarging the distance between the two of them. Using his speed to his advantage he ran beside the buck, and making a quick dash to the front. Finally landing in front of the male he bared his fangs trying to help his brother in stopping the buck in his tracks. Growling Eris's attention was distracted by his brother getting smashed in the face. Deciding that the packs safety was more important then keeping the buck back Eris ran at the remaining deer snapping at the side of the doe who had just kicked his brother.
Avoiding the next kick the doe threw as she retreated Eris increased his speed to catch up to the others. He only hoped his brother was ok and that Eden wouldn't be upset at him for leaving his position. To Eris his brothers safety was much more important.

"Eros!" Eden barked once she saw the hoof connect with her little brother's face. Her eyes darted back to the buck they were after. Ravenfall was quickly closing the gap between him and the deer and she knew he couldn't handle it by himself. She saw that Eris was with Eros now, so she joined up with Ravenfall.
Quickly she was by Ravenfall's side. Giving a look of satisfaction and pure adrenaline, Eden grinned before using the momentum and speed she'd gained and leaped from the ground straight on to the buck's back / throat. Her fangs dug into it's tight flesh; the fur not thick enough to stop her teeth considering it was warm weather.
The explosion of it's rusty but sweet blood flooded her mouth and nose. It was so SUPPA GEWD that it gave her an extra charge and she was able to hold on. But not for long. The buck's thrashing soon knocked her flat on her side, right in the angle for the buck's hoof to slam into her side. As quickly as she could, she dodged the falling foot of the buck. It nicked her rib, only enough to bruise it. Her anger flared and she looked around for Eros and Eris to help her and Ravenfall.

Eros, shaking off the surprise from his near-death experiece, sprinted to catch up with his siblings and their new friend. He was glad to see Ravenfall had done as he expected, and when he was near Eris, he dipped his muzzle slightly in thanks before rushing ahead to try and help his sister.
When he saw Eden fall and the young buck raise a hoof to kill her, he cried out in warning, and was glad to see how quickly she dodged. Closing in, he leapt at the buck and tore at its flank.
