Your Handwriting Says You Are Somewhat Traditional You are highly energetic. You are a passionate, intense, vigorous person.
You range from very outgoing to very shy. You are a shapeshifter who is very versatile. You adapt well, and you look at things from many angles.
You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.
You don't a lot of space, and you prefer to spend time with others. You are a little nosy and intrusive. You sometimes don't give people enough space.
You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.
You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how to pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.
You are reserved and not very outgoing. You are deeply thoughtful and introspective. You have a lot of control over your actions and emotions.
You are very detail oriented and meticulous. You are a careful thinker and a true intellectual.
You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well.
You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart.
You are a good communicator. You work hard to get your ideas across effectively.

I personally don't like personality tests because I'm just all over the place; I could fill in the most random answers and I'd still get qualities that I'd find in myself. But whatever.
Your Handwriting Says You Are Not Traditional You are a laid back person with rather low energy. You aren't lazy... you *are* sensitive and empathetic.
You are somewhat outgoing, but you're not a natural extrovert. You think first before you act. You tend to be independent, rational, and logical.
You are very detail oriented and meticulous. You are a careful thinker and a true intellectual.
You don't a lot of space, and you prefer to spend time with others. You are a little nosy and intrusive. You sometimes don't give people enough space.
You are a free thinker. You are unique, open minded, and artistic. You don't care what other people think.
You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous.

I teach at a traditional school, where penmanship is important and have perfected my writing. But on a daily basis, I am this.

Wow! I could never write like that! All my writing goes in different directions, I can't help it, it just does.
On a philosophical level, do you think there is anything advantageous about writing like this spaulding? Meaning, does the enforced rigidity of expression really mean anything other than the script can be generally read?

Personally, I seriously wonder if you can say anything about a person if you check their handwriting..
I made my handwriting to what it is now, sometimes it's a little more sloppy, but slowly I changed the e's, they used to start at the bottom, and more like that...
Or does that say something about personality as well? The fact that you change handwriting? I guess it's normal at high school...
@ Ruby: The way you write in the first paragraph, everyone wrote like that at primary school! I always wanted to write like that as well, but it never worked for me, so found my own way... XD

Meaning, does the enforced rigidity of expression really mean anything other than the script can be generally read? The reasoning behind perfect penmanship in Spaulding is so students don't have to think about forming their letters. If students learn from the very beginning how to properly form the letters they are able to writing without thinking. Studies have shown students that have neat penmanship do better in reading and writing. Mrs. Spaulding (the creator) believed with perfect writing learning just flows. The teachers write like this in class, but still have their own way of writing in real life. Eventually students have their own way of writing too after they leave elementary school, but it is still legible. It is more for training.

Did the study say anything about if this ability to do better in reading and writing because of neat penmanship meant one did better in life? Did it say if they were more successful in the end, when the curtain is being drawn and the player's moment is over? Edit: Thinking about it and reading some experiences of it, I suppose in some aspects they do well and that it really depends on the child.

It's sort of like I evolve to something and I do that something, but then I tend to find myself writing again like I used to, to some extent. I have 2 ways I do my small "d"s depending on if I am doing a change I made when I was 21, or if I forget to do it that way and it comes out the old way, and actually, thinking about it, I have a 3rd way I sometimes employ when I am being whimsical. They are all distinctly different.
