Joining his laughter Ama felt at ease. "A first? Was that an insult to me? Or are you just that confusing. "Oh.....yes I do suppose you're right. I'd hate to leave your company though. Its very nice to have intelligent conversation that doesn't involve scolding me every other sentence." Sighing Ama looked sadly upon her new friend. He was such a joy to talk to and he's so understandable.

"No, no." Dyvolio said, chuckling as well. "Not an insult." His sadness came back, though, when Ama confirmed his words. "Yes, it does, doesn't it?" he said, a bit of something like a smirk playing on his lips. He stood up, watching her for what he hoped wasn't the last time. "Well then, be on your way. Wouldn't want to make your sisters cranky, eh?" he said.

Smiling as bright as the sun Ama let out the most joyful laugh she had given all night. The laugh was different from all her others in that it sounded much more grown up, as if she had grown in just seconds. Yet her appearence remained the same and her small adolescent body glowed orange and yellow in the fading sun. "No I wouldn't for if they're anything like me they'll surely be a mess to deal with when cranky."
Standing up Ama approached the alpha helix one last time for who knows how long. "Dyvolio. I shall miss your company very much. Hopefully I shall see you in the future. I wish you well with the pack I'm sure you'll make one day." Though her smile dwindled to a warm glow Ama touched her muzzle gently against his side then swept into a bow. The highest respect she could give a helix. Then turning she went to leave the clearing but stopped right before her outline disappeared to gaze back one last time. Turning she raced from the spot knowing she would never see him again and hoping with everything she was that she was wrong.

"I shall wish the same to you." Dyvolio said softly. When she padded up, he craned his neck so that his muzzle would brush against hers, not in a kiss of sorts, but in an acknowledgement of his respect for her.
He watched as she left, until she was just a sillhouette in the sun, and his fur ruffled when a wind blew. "May the gods look over you." he said quietly, dipping his head.
