"Awright, arcade! Let's do this!" Daniel lets out an excited whoop as he slides across the hood of Angie's car for no better reason than because he was pretty sure he saw it in a movie once. Now on the passenger side, he goes to the backdoor to let himself in. Sharing the back with a baby seat didn't bother him any. Hey, he kind of wished the kid was in it. Babies were pretty awesome when they were somebody else's.

I smiled and got into the car, "Hey, d'ya wanna come with me to get Aiden after we drop off Mary later? maybe we could all go out to eat or something? It's up to you all, i've never had a social life before!"

Daniel perks up at mention of Aiden. "I get to meet the kid? Even better! Kids are pretty awesome. Hey, where does his dad go to school? Or do you dig the older guys?"

My face lost it's color as I pulled out of the parking spot. I closed my eyes and went back to that hatefull day that I nearlly lost everything. You lost him, though... "He's dead. Car accident." I pulled out of the school and in the direction of the mall, where Dave and Busters was located.

Mary, remaining silent for the most part, pulled on her seat belt and listened to the conversation. Her face pulled tight together in horror as she listened to what Angie said. "I'm so sorry..." This reminded her of her own recent loss, the loss of her parents, and she sighed. She tried to focus on how fun the arcade would be, especially with her friends. Friends... She liked the way that word sounded.

Daniel let out a nervous chuckle unintentionally. "Um, sorry. I didn't mean to say anything, you know, depressing." Daniel slouches low in his seat. He does not bother to put on his seat belt; he just about never does.

"It's ok, I loved him, we would probably have gotten married, but it was his time, I'm just grateful I didn't loose Aiden, I almost did, but he survived." I smiled towards the end, I found I could celebrate Mike's life through Aiden instead of mourning so horibly like I had before. I drove about 5 miles above the speed limit and down the highway to the mall. I hummed to the song that had come on, Afterlife from Avenged Sevenfold, rather appropriate for the moment, i though...

As Angie drove, Daniel slowly came down from his episode. He felt calmer now and even vaguely regretted skipping school again. But only vaguely; school really didn't interest him. "Hey, I haven't seen either of you before, I don't think." He pipes up suddenly. Then he just grins wide. "Do you always run off to the mall with strangers, or am I special? I hope I'm special."

"Oh your deffinately special. Deffinately. i keep to myself and i bet if you asked 20 people out of that school, no one would have a clue as to who i am. I'm just another faceless girl in the crowd." I said simply, "Aiden takes up time, along with work, I don't usually get the privalege of having a social life."

"Yeah, that's gotta be rough. What about your parents? They watch the kid while you're at school or something?" Daniel hazards a guess, idly hoping they weren't killed in a car crash, too. His luck couldn't possibly be that rotten. Could it?

"Sometimes, My mom watches him when I go to work, I have a neighbor lady who watches him when I go to school. My dad is stationed at a base down in Florida, he's coming up in a week. I can't wait, it'll be his first time metting Aiden!" I said with a silly grin. "What about you? What's your story?"

Daniel shrugs and grins, folding up his legs so he can place his feet flat on the seat in front of him. "Not much of a story to tell, but I guess I can at least match as much as you told me. Don't have any kids, not likely to. I'm gay, not that I can seem to keep a boyfriend anyway. My pops I don't see too much since he divorced my moms. Probably a good thing; he's worse than she is with the 'grow up and do something with your life' bullshit."

"Ah, parental control, you should have seen my parents when i told them I was preggers. They flipped a s**t big time!" I smiled as I pulled into a good spot and cut the egnition. "What about you Mary?"

[[I forgot to add this into my profile, bue Mel is one of those girls that everyone knows... in other words she's one of the most popular girls at school. If you'd like to add that in my profile you can, otherwise I'm just stating it here.]] When Mel woke up this morning, she gound that her alarm clock was no longer working. She was already late for school. This wasn't the first time, but beinglate was rare. She decided that since she had already missed first period she would just play hookie, and take her own holiday.
Mel didn't have a car, so after dressing and washing, she grabbed a small billabong backpack and caught the Metro towards the mall. Her mission was to buy a new alarm clock. Then maybe have som fun, hang out at Dave and Busters --the arcade--. She loved the arcade. When she arrived at the mall she first went to sears to buy something inexpensive but nice, and hopefully better than her old one. After she purchased her alarm clock/radio, she walked through the mall to the arcade.

James got off the moth eaten sofa in what he called 'his' room. It was his stolen wristwatch that woke him up. He tossed on his usual all black outfit. He didn't bother to comb his hair either, it would settle as usual, hanging around on all sides, swaying as he walked. He patted the side of the dog who laid on the floor in front of the sofa. "Come on Frank, lets see what we can find today." He said, grabbing a second hand black jacket and tossing it on him. He walked out of the rusted door to the factory and began walking towards the bar, early by his standards. Frank tagged along beside him while James walked, scouring the whole area, looking for loose change, anything to help him in his miserable condtion.
