"...You're talking to someone that sleeps once in a blue moon less he feels lazy for one reason or another. As intelligent as I am, and please do not fail to realize my genius...dreams are beyond me. To me, they're the product of an unconscious body allowing the mind to have free reign over everything else, using experiences of the body and feelings of the soul to construct different scenarios. Usually they pertain to emotions and memories, hence why the fearful tend to have nightmares while those with proper pills seem to dream of lost relatives or better parts of their past." He'd begun to confuse himself, thus he'd take a quick break and reach into his coat, remove his flask and bite the screw-top off to take a long drink before continuing while screwing the top back on and placing the flash back in his coat. One could only wonder how his breath, rich in iron and overall Death would smell to a mortal. Poor girl.

"Okay, so this chick in a mask that was once a swan mentioned she new your great grand daddy...well, it could be anything to your great grand mum to your grand mum to...well, I can't say I remember you telling me the current status of your mum! That kinda crap tends to symbolize guardian spirits, often fallen relatives. So, you can put the pieces of that ******** puzzle together. As for making something your wandering mind made tangible...that beats the hell out of me and I create matter out of jack-diddly-s**t on a daily basis." He'd look the key over and even go so far as to bite it before creating a diamond string to loop through the key thus making it into a necklace for her. He'd place it around her head and make sure her hair was all right, then shrug. "Thing's real...kinda weird she's bringing up the name of one of them, though. I'm pretty sure everyone knows Mike n' Gabe...Raphael tends to come up here and there...hell, I'd even heard Jophiel and Chamuel. Zadkiel's actually here, on this planet...and if there's some join named after the 'Fire of God' then no doubt his influence is here...meaning I can punch em'! Gotta tell ya, really gets me off beating on those seven ******** style="color: darkslategray">He'd turn his head to look at Nimm over his shoulder. "You, the girl that may as well call herself a necrophiliac and have an orgy in a graveyard! Use that equipment there to look for some place with the keyword 'Uriel.' Also, I really hope you don't plan on letting that freak actually touch you...it just isn't right."

(( Short doesn't mean bad. Bad is when one fails to tell all that needs to be told per post, which you've NEVER done. So get over it! xd ))

Maya was indeed there the whole time, but she made herself invisible to her sister and Kain. A small tear rolled down her cheek as she watched the love between Draega and Kain, she'd hastily wiped it away. "Dreams can be real in their own ways, and isn't all bad being human. I mean look at me" She'd pose cutely and squeezed Draega's hand. "I am just a scientist, there isn't anything magical about me." She'd smile her golden hues lighting up.

"Whos's calling who crazy?" she whispered to herself after Kain's comment. She listened to the conversation behind her, not wanting to jump in about the human part, as according to science, fliers, and recent revelations, she wasn't human. Dreams on the other hand, she knew at least a little bit about. She knew everyone had them, and that if they didn't there brain would shut down due to not being able to reset information. But that was all in books she'd read.

"Maybe the swan was your guardian, I read somewhere that animals or insects in dreams are suppose to help lead you down the right path and keep you from re-experiencing the same dream twice." she said quietly. She felt like she was interrupting for some reason so stayed quiet after her interjection. She turned her attention back to the screen. Apparently Singe and the Russian had come to civility on the terms that Alexis was a Key and therefore of use to Singe.

He'd stare at Nimm for a moment as if she were an idiot, then in a blur he'd move to grab her, place her in a chair by them and take his place on the ground beside the couch his love was resting on. He'd take Draega's hand back into his with warm tea in hand and offer it to his love. His look, as it turned out, was one of jealousy and respect. "Okay, so you know about this crap! Well, it's no crap. Just a crude word of reference. Nimm, right? Okay, so animals are guardians of some type...sounds like Native American...wow, doubt you two know them. Sounds like Ancient stuff to me...think each animal had a meaning, too. Hell if I payed attention. C'mon Nimm, I know the three of us weren't on the best of terms lately but here we are and we're all fine. Pan and apparently Alexis are the enemies, not one another. So...we should help one another." For once he was dead series, the tone of his words making them out to be nearly a plea.

Draega gave a start at the sound of Nimm's voice and nearly panicked, however, when Kain replied to her so casually she relaxed and smiled a bit. If Kain had forgiven her then that was enough for Draega. After all she knew it wouldn't do her any good to hold grudges at this point in time. Instead Draega groped toward Maya's voice, finally reaching her Draega would give her sister a gentle squeeze and mouth a silent 'thank-you' to her before turning to accept the tea that Kain offered her. She sipped at it a bit and smiled at the flavor, reminded of a bar Lilane had introduced her to...what was the name of it again?

And then Draega nearly dropped her cup, as she stood upright, only to find her legs couldn't support her and she found herself sitting again in under a second. With an excited hand Draega turned her eyes to Kain, his face still nothing more than a blob of shapes and colors. "Kain! Kain!" she cried, almost too excited to truly form what she was thinking into a sentence. "I...I think I know what she was talking about...well a part of it anyway. I don't think she meant, whoever she was, I don't think she meant Uriel himself! I think she meant this bar! It's a place Lilane took me to when we first met! I remember it was called Uriel's Gentle Flame! I think she was talking about that place, not an actual angel!" Draega's smile bloomed full force almost like it used to after having discovered something good while spying for the Faction.

With a look of determination she turned to Maya and grinned with determination. "Maya, can you do something about my vision? It's still too blurry. Other than that I think I'll be fine...I just want to be able to see. And Nimm," Draega added turning toward the direction Nimm's voice had come from with a small apologetic smile and a nod, "I want to thank you for helping me. I mean it. Thank you." and then with a sly sort of smirk Draega leaned forward, hanging onto Kain for support as she did. "And also...do you have a computer and a video-audiovisual headset? If you do...I think I'm going to have to borrow them for a moment."

Maya looked down at Draega's hand she'd kissed the back of her sister's hand and smiled. "Of course my dear sister" She'd place her hand across her sister's eyes a glowing white illuminated from her palm causing her dear sweet sister and Kain's only love to once again see. Maya smiled softly and would help Draega up if she needed it. "Kain and I will both go with you, I fee him and I will be oh so worried if something happened." She'd look to Kain and nod her head a loving look in those golden hues knowing that her sister was going to be okay as long as she had her and him by her side.

"...A bar? God damn it, that means Zadkiel's still the only holy thing I have to abuse. That kinda sucks." He'd come to have a revelation as Draega tried to spring to her feet, at which point he made sure to sit next to her as to keep her from doing anything else that could lead to a concussion. His revelation was that she was not only mortal and thus fragile now...but young. Somewhere along the line he'd forgotten the astounding difference in years between them. It didn't matter in the end, it just somehow had come to strike him.

"Well it has been some time since I went into any sort of bar...or tavern. Saloon. Whatever; got this habit of drinking too much n' then killing too many." He'd shrug his shoulders and wrap an arm around Draega, then look to Maya. "I have no idea how to fix her eyes this quickly...nor do I really want her moving about this quickly. You two may not like it, but she needs her rest and a decent amount. When she can walk with grace again, then we'll talk about actually going somewhere."

"I agree with you" Maya came to sit on the other side of Draega and rested her hand on her sister's knee. "There is no hurry dear sister, besides your eyes are not completely healed they need to dilate once again" She'd look to Kain and then back to her sister as if reading Kain's mind she'd smile and shake her head age was only a number in her eyes.

Nimm squeaked at a noise of surprise as she was picked up. She blinked as she was set down and stared at Kain a moment as he questioned her about what she read. "It's not just a native American thing. Celtics, Hindu, a lot of different groups and such believed in it. Some believe that teh animal differs depending upon what your going through in life. Others say its just teh animal you would picture yourself as, or it takes the form of someone you trust." she explained.

As Dreaga said her thanks and asked about a computer Nimm shrugged. "I'm not really sure actually. I haven't done much exploring, and Maya already asked for all the metal in the house to make medical equipment."

Draega rolled her eyes and would push Kain gently, like pushing away an overly-affectionate puppy...but there was no real force behind it and she didn't mind when it did nothing to dislodge him. Instead she merely placed a hand over her face and turned toward Maya. "I'm fine Maya. I don't want to actually GO anywhere...but I can't just sit here and do nothing. Especially since I know where this place is. I just want to get a message to an internet contact." And then she smiled and waved a hand in front of her eyes with a playful sort of sarcastic smirk. "Can't do that if all I'm seeing are big blurbs." Then she let her hand fall back into her lap and turned to Kain with a smile that said 'I know something you don't know', one not so different then the one she had had that night when they had sat down and made a promise to each other in a dark restaurant.

"Please Kain. If this woman has something...ANYthing that can help us...then I want to do my part in locating her. If she's not real ...no..." She shook her head and seemed somehow very serious as she bit her thumbnail in thought. "No...somehow...somehow I KNOW she's real. " Then with a thoughtful expression Draega turned in the direction Nimm's voice issued from, though her eyes were directed more or less toward Nimm's shoulder instead of her face since Draega couldn't actually tell where her face WAS. "Nimm...have you ever heard of the Collective Unconscious? " Draega her expression betraying what she felt. That she was close to locking in on some sort of clue that was just beyond her reach.

"Yeah I think I might of skimmed over something about it. Are you hinting at Archetypes by chance?" she asked, wondering if this was still about the swan from her dream. She wasn't really sure what was going on or why it was such a big deal really.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 26, 2009 8:27 pm

Draega shook her head and folded her hands in her lap hoping to maintain an air of serious and mature direction, even if she really felt more like an excited child. "No. What I meant to hint at is that I don't think the dream was something I came up with at all. In the early twenty-first century there were some studies done that stated that it might be possible for someone to affect someone ELSE'S dream by tapping into the collective unconscious...it was just a theory and was never proven but that dream. It...it just...it felt very much like it wasn't my dream at all. " Then Draega pressed a hand to her chin in contemplation.

"In fact...the more I think on it the more I'm beginning to suspect that that woman was a U.H. who infiltrated my mind through my dreams. I'm not sure if it's possible...and I'm even less sure if there IS such a U.H. out there with such powers...let alone if they're registered. But if they are...my online contact COULD be able to tell us. Assuming of course this isn't just me going insane or misinterpreting something." Draega added the last part with a sort of sarcastic chuckle before reaching her hands up into her hair to run them through and shake out her hair as if she'd had it up in ponytail. She let out a sigh and leaned onto her knees in a way that spoke of her continued weakness as well as her frustration at truly being able to grasp at this dream....and at wondering if the effort it'd take to look into t he dream would be worth it.

And then she touched the key around her neck and knew she HAD to find out.

"I'm not sure about internet, but I do know about U.H.'s and the such." she moved and slid from her seat, she'd been watching the scene on TV, so she knew now that the Russian had left it would be alright to stop watching. "How about this idea? I run the message for you. being cooped up in here is starting to make me antsy, and I know my way around the city better than most." she grew up on those streets she knew of some places that most didn't know existed. "Let me know the message and who you want it to go to, I could get there no problem."

He'd arch a brow as she semi-shoved him and scoff. "Brat..." He'd snicker a bit, though the look on her face, the one he had locked in his mind from that restaurant made him stare at her like and idiot, deer-in-the-headlights style. He'd then growl a bit...he hated not knowing things. As the girls began talking to one another more or less, he'd quickly remove himself from the room and step outside. He'd felt something like an illness coming on, and now he knew why. He'd throw a right hook right in the face of the source...

Though Reaper would throw his own right hook that would land itself square in Kain's jaw. He'd only grin as he was hit before wiping the blood from both his mouth and his nose. "So, you're here mooching off of Nimm, right? Intend to take over the house, heal the girl and then what? I'm guessing she needs her rest and quite frankly...I don't want her to rest here!"

He'd re-set his jaw and move it about to make sure his mandible was all right then cross his arms and listen to the prattle of his nemesis. "Well, forgive me for doing what you couldn't. Y'know, looking after her and all since you ditched her to screw around with some kid?" He'd shake his head and head back into the cottage, planting himself back down on the couch with Draega.

"Son of a..." He'd take a deep breath in and slowly exhale, then enter his own cottage to see the whole trio making themselves at home. He'd arch a brow at the scene, looking to the rather delicious smelling Draega first. He'd grin and chuckle a bit, then look over to Nimm. "Please give me permission to remove these vermin from your retreat..."

Maya would look to her sister and then to Nimm, she needed her rest, her eyes flickered to Kain as he rose and headed outside something was wrong... Seeing Singe she'd narrowed her hues and moved protectively in front of her sister arms folded across her chest.
