A straight attack, that was new, however though Soraven aimed at her heart before starting her headlong run at the mare, Eviotil was thinking of what was in front of the unicorn, a nice little stream. This would slow her down just enough to the point where Eviotil could make more plans, Right, as if a little horn like that could actually do anything? the more enraged Soraven was, the easier it was to figure what she would do.
Taking a stance that looked as though she planted herself firmly, she waited, biding her time, her tail was the only part of her still moving.

Soraven was not stupid. She knew she had to watch for the mares tail, and her sharp teeth, though the tail was more dangerous. Because of the back-turned horns, she could not really be stabbed, though the thorns could still hurt. Well, it was time to dance. She charged, leaping the stream gracefully, and at the last minute, she turned, using her forward momentum to pivot on her front legs, and swing with her back hooves. She splayed her cloven hooves slightly, so that a scored mark would have two lines instead of one; the sharp points dragging into the flesh in different areas.

There were now slightly bloody marks on Eviotil's side. She had turned just enough when the mare came at her, not to catch a hoof in the face or chest. It stung, rather than hurt, she chuckled then lunged at Soraven's side, the momentum from her kicking legs having spun her. Feathers fell and fluttered around, a smoky looking purple flame building up around Eviotil's feet, truthfully, she wasn't fighting like she normally would have, her shoulder would knock into Soraven, and simply knock the mare back a few feet, if it connected. If not, there were other ways to flatten her.
Soraven would most likely notice that this wasn't a fight to the death or ending of an argument to Eviotil, this was playful, fun.

Soraven stumbled a bit from the shouldering of the mare, but remarkably kept her balance. That just kept her angry. In retaliation, she bit the larger mare on the nose.

The bite had Eviotil tearing up. She staggered back a little only to find that her nose was still in Soraven's mouth. Ooo, this hurts and I can't see Was her thought as she went entirely still, her eyes watering badly.
She hadn't expected to get her nose involved in this, and the hold Soraven had on it was likely to tear the whole thing off if she forced herself backwards. Now though Eviotil was a fighter, she still had vanity. Her face was something she took care of...and now, it was going to be bruised...nastily...weeks of waiting...and if she pulled her nose out of Soraven's mouth...I'll be disfigured.... There was an audible whimper as she rather nasally spoke, Alright! You win! I quit! I'll do what you say, just let go of my noooose! She pouted, blinking several times trying to get her eyes to clear.

Soraven let go, and snorted angrily at the mare. Just because I'm a unicorn, doesn't mean that I'm a week little thing. She kept her ears flat, and stepped away from Eviotil. Remember that.

If Eviotil had been graced with hands, she would have wrapped them around her injured nose. She nodded, Okay. No arguing. Which was said between violent sneezes.
Now that the fit was done she walked over to the bank again and looked at the damage. Surprisingly, no blood and only a little bruising...Soraven's teeth were rather well taken care of, though it was a bit awkward being able to tell another horse's dental health from markings on your nose. So now what? The question was a little random, and more mumbled than anything else, Eviotil still sounded like she had a stuffed nose, mostly because it hurt to talk in any other manner.

Just bug off. Leave me alone. She turned and walked away from the larger mare; still fuming about the kolana who had picked a fight. Thinking she was stupid and needed to find a stallion to protect her. Served her right! And don't call me Stupid anymore you daft mare! she called over her shoulder.

Eviotil waved her tail and started off. This was a first. She lost due to her nose. She didn't say anything to the other mare as she began walking away. She was too busy figuring out how she was going to deal with her nose. It already felt like it was going to be swollen.
She ambled off, her tail twitching as she looked rather dejected, but given a few weeks, she'd likely be back to her old self again. One could almost see the storm cloud forming over her head as she walked in the opposite direction of the mare.
