Sadie picked up the pokeball after it had bonged and called out the caterpie. It seemed to glare back at her before looking up at Poke. Giving a small hiss it scuttled around to be behind Sadie, though minding to keep away from the fire breather, not knowing that this trainer had two of them and the other was worse then this one. Sadie on the other hand merely smiled at Poke and took the items.
"Thanks, I know this place would be reliable with supplies so I didn't bother even bringing my own this time round. Besides for a few berries." She said while dropping an oran berry toward Sassy before crouching to heal the caterpie with the burn heal, but resorted to berries with the other health problems.
Her ears twitched hearing the sounds of wings and pecking, calling back the caterpie so that it could rest she looked over toward where everyone else had vanished off to. Craning her neck some, Sadie caught a glimpse of the Pidgey. Well there was a sight, a flock of birds not that they seemed to be doing anything, but pecking the ground looking for something to eat...
Sassafras dashed over and poked her head through the bush and spied the pidgey. Blasted feather heads, she though turning away, she had seen them on her trainer's land. They were always fun to chase, perhaps these were the same ones? She didn't know until she could get close enough to get a good sniff of one. Crouching down some and tail kept low, the vulpix slowly eased herself through the bush and toward the pidgey.

It was pretty amusing to see the others attempt to catch the caterpies and deal with the pokemon in general, especially the little battle with the poochyena that seemed to jump in out of nowhere. Over all, it seemed like the newer trainers weren't having too hard of a time with the wild pokemon.
Soon though, Professor Gum and two of the kids seemed to have spotted some others nearby. Quietly, he moved over towards the area to see that there was a small flock of pidgeys there. After a bit of thought, he decided that he'd try and catch himself one of them, though Poke brought up a good question of how they were going to approach.
Chances were that they'd fly off the moment they noticed the trainers and their pokemon.
Curiously, Tiamat poked her head through the bush to see the flying pokemon all together. Having watched some of the other pokemon do battle, she was eager to get some action herself.
After thinking for a bit, Blade rummaged through his pockets and his bag until he found what he was looking for. It was a piece of bread he had brought with him. If this didn't work, then he'll just have to sick Tiamat on one of them he supposed. So, carefully, he stepped out towards them. He still kept his distance and he placed crouched down to place the piece of bread on the ground where they could see both him and the bread.

(WHOOPS. Razor Leaf shall not be showing up again in my battle posts anytime soon.)
"Bodyslam it!" Lia demanded, gritting her teeth in frustration. Damn this Pokemon was hard to take out!
The Vulpix jumped into the air as the Poochyena charged and spun a three-sixty before slamming the Dark-type into the ground with all her strength behind it. It seemed the force of the attack had made the Vulpix dizzy as well, as the fire-type wavered as she got up, but it was definitely nothing compared to the Poochyena.
The Pokemon looked like it tried to get up slightly before kind of slumping back down.
Immediately, Lia pressed the white button on the empty Pokeball and threw it at the Poochyena. Upon contact, the Pokeball cracked open and sucked the Pokemon in with a beam of red light surrounding the Pokemon.
Both Lia and the Vulpix were tensed as they watched the Pokeball roll around as though the Pokemon inside were trying to break its way out. Which it probably was doing.

Sicel watched as two trainers took interest in the Pidgeys, and one of his hands tapped the pokeball on the inside of his cloak absently. He walked over, lightly and with as little noise as he could make, stopping just behind the trainer offering the bird-pokemon bread.
He thought about the pokeblocks his mother had supplied him and his sister with before they left, but allowed the thought to leave his mind. Those Pokeblocks were treats for Charm- he had no intention of giving them to wild Pokemon until he was sure he'd want to catch one.
He sized up all five of the pidgeys, as much as he could see anyways, as bushes bocked the view between him and the birds. He watched to see if one of the birds may seem like the leader of the flock, if one was a bit stronger, more quick to fight.
Sicel had the reputation amongst those who knew him of catching Pokemon, only to release them a week or two later.
Sicel was a very...strict and ambitious trainer. It was hard for a pokemon to meet his high expectations, and often the pokemon disliked his strict and regular training. Before catching any pokemon, he would study their inherent strength and temperament, as well as considering their typing in accordance to the Pokemon he already had with him. For the most part, he had been seeking out a good grass-type, which cover his Charmander's main weaknesses, but now he studied one particular Pidgey with interest.
It chased and pecked at the other Pidgeys so that it could get at the best food. Most of the other Pidgeys stayed out of its way, and it seemed to expect suck subservience from the others, walking around brazenly. It was slightly bigger and looked better fed, no doubt from the fact that it bullied food away from the others.
Sicel's pokeball was out in his hand a moment later, and he summoned Charm to his side. The Charmander seemed to understand what was going on, and stayed quiet as it watched the scene.
The Pidgey Sicel had his eye on moved a away from the rest of the group, spotting one of the Caterpies that the trainers had passed by moments before. Sicel didn't need to take out his pokedex to remember that pidgeys preyed on caterpies.
"Charm, fetch." Sicel told his Charmander, taking the oppourtunity to battle the Pidgey now that it was away from its flock, and Charm promptly sprang into action, running on all fours towards the Pidgey, knowing exactly what his trainer wanted.
"Smokescreen!" Charmander opened his mouth before the command completely left his trainer's mouth, and a dark cloud of smoke billowed out at the bird. It turned sharply, jumping into the air and flapping its wings furiously to create a wind. The smoke dissipated, but it provided Charm the cover he needed to get up close.
He jumped at the Pidgey, who was only a few feet in the air, and knocked it down to the ground. Sicel watched the battle intently, and unlike his sister, he did not waver.
"Charm, Scratch!" Sicel called out when he spotted an opening in the struggle between the two Pokemon, and Charm trusted its trainer fully, clawing out with one arm and clipped the flailing Pidgey across one wing. The other wing came across to smack Charm hard, and the two broke free. The pidgey ruffled its feathers and glared at Charm as it hopped back a few steps, puffing itself up as if trying to look more intimidating.
Sicel's well trained charmander just stayed crouched on all fours, awaiting a new command from his trainer.

Still stumbling and confused as to what to do, Rimu thought a battle would fix it, "I guess I can catch the bug right?"
"Yep, it's a wild..." Kappa said as he got ready for the action.
"Ok then!" Rimu said as she quickly grabbed her sketch book, "Tackle it Kappa!"
"Alright!" Kappa exclaimed as he jumped into action.

the poor catipie wasn't prepared for a battke, and once tackled it rolled away and came to a stop, before it hid behind th enearest ttree, peaking it's head out every so often to see if the trainer and pokemon where still there.
~~~~~~~
((BD Vulpix'es don't learn bodyslam either)) the pokeball rocked for a little while, but it was obvious who the winner of this battle was going to be. With a Bong, the pokeball stood still
doo doo doo do do de do de do!
~~~~~~~
One of the pidgeys, quite sick of being bullied by that other pidgey, hopped away from it. It then spied some bread, but it was near a guy in a black coat. "Pigde....". It debated it's options, and finaly hunger won. It hopped over to the bread and started pecking it
~~~~~~~
The bully pidgey had taken a nasty scratch accross it's wing, and this kept it from making a getaway. Instead, it decided to take it's anger out on the charmander by using a gust attack. It's power was weakened though.
~~~~~~~
The comotion with the charmander had caused the rest of the pidgey to fly away. However, one had tried to fly away through the bushes and it bumped straight into saasafras instead. It sat dazed for a minute and then, realsing who was in front of it, tried to tackle it.

Blade looked up for a moment as he heard a bit of commotion with the rest of the pidgeys. One of the other trainers had attacked one more or less head on, which ended up scaring the rest off. Well, at least he managed to hook one in before that happened.
"Hungry hm? You know, if you come with me, you won't really have to worry about starving any more."
A bit confused with this little tactic, Tiamat looked up at her trainer with questioning eyes. She then turned her attention towards the pidgey, wanting to be able to roast it. But hopefully, if the pidgey declines the trainer's offer, she'll be allowed to fight it.

Sassafras blinked as something hit her smack in the nose. Dazed a moment she couldn't recover enopugh before she found herself tumbling head over paws backwads out of the bushes she had entered. What had hit her? Shaking her head again she was back up and glancing at the Pidgey that had nailed her not one, but twice. Alright that was it, that feather head was going down.
Sadie glanced toward her Vulpix and the pidgey that had flown into her. Frowning a little she hadn't seen the small fox pokemon that angry and it was a start. Stepping away from the others and over toward the pair. "Sassafras, Use Ember." Sadie commaded as the vulpix was all too happy to obey.
Opening her mouth, Sassafras shot a stream of embers at the bird pokemon. She wasn't about to let this one get the best of her, not a third time.

Lukan sighed as he trugged through the forest, not having any luck to come across anything really. No pokemon, berry's, or anything useful. His tail hung in between his legs as he walked disappointed with himself. Maybe he was intimidating to the pokemon of the forest, though he thought he didn't look it. Standing about 5'6", with jet black hair that reached past his shoulders tied into a pony tail, with bangs hanging from either side of his head. A regular blue and black hat sat atop his head blocking what sun came through the trees. A black t-shirt with a blue vest over it, and black baggy pants with white sneakers underneath. Also, he has dog like ears sticking out from his hat, and a wolf like tale swaying behind him, both matching his hair color. Carrying a long side him a small duffel bag filled with provisions and items he could use along the way Well, maybe it wasn't the fact of his looks, but maybe he was looking to catch a pokemon, and any pokemon near by could sense it.
Sighing again he shrugged his thoughts he sat down on a fallen tree pulling his bag onto his lap. Opening it he pulled a candy bar and some water to tide him over till he would set camp up.

The pidgey looked up at the option of having free food for the rest of it's life, and not having to worry about other pokemon trying to eat it. It sounded like a good idea... it wouldn't have to fight other pidgey for food.
"...pidge!" it nodded
~~~~~~~~
The pidgey got hit by the ember attack, but it didn't seem to think much of it. It just took the damage and then used another gust on the vulpix. Either it was trying to blow the pokemon away instead of running, or it was trying to overpower it
~~~~~~~~
One of the escaping pidgeys decided to land in a tree that was just hanging over the top of the fallen one. It seemed a little panicked, if not tired from escaping.

Sassafras was shoved back with the gust and she shook her head as the dust from the ground had kicked up and stirred into her eyes. pawing at her face some, she shook her head trying to clear her eyes of the dust. Growling to herself she had let the little feather head get the best of her. Sadie reached out and collected Sassafras before plucking a ball from her belt and tossed it into the air.
"Alright Ptolemy, your turn!" Sadie called out as the ball opened to reveal a young charmander.
Ptolemy shook his head and took sight of the pokemon he was dragged out for. Glancing back at his trainer and soon back to the Pidgey, he growled to himself something before waiting for a command to be issued, wondering why the 'pup' wasn't fighting the thing.
"Alright, Use scratch." Sadie commanded as Ptolemy rushed forward, arms at his sides and claws growing sharp on his finger tips. Leaping at the pidgey he aimed a rough scratch at its face, wings and whatever else he could it.

Dexed ran into the forest as fast as possible, already half way out of breath. He had green wavy hair and green eyes, along with a green plaid shirt and black pants. His hands were wrapped with bandage wraps for some reason and he he wore black shoes. He hoped he wasn't too late quite yet. He could hear around him noises of on-going and finishing battles. He hoped all the pokemon weren't already taking. He fingered his pokeball on his belt and stopped to look around and listen for any pokemon.

"pidge pidge!" The pidgey got a nice scratch in the face, and it did not like this at all. It landed on the ground trying to shake the pain off, before going for a direct tackle attack. It was starting to look weakened now. ~~~~~ A poochyena was actually walking along the pathway that dexed was running past. When he stopped, the pokemon looked up to see the trainer, and being a poochyena it did what came natural; running at dexed to use bite.

Laying back as he continued to munch on his bar and taking swigs of water, he looked to the tree branch above him to see what looked like a frantic pidgey. Blinking a few times as he began to put away his things, he stood up. Jumping to the branch where the small bird pokemon was and landing in a crouch on all fours he eyed it with anticipation. "A Pidgey!" He yelled and leap for it. 'It seems kinda wrong to taking advantage of such a small pokemon, I just hope I don't hurt it too badly.' He thought, as he crept closer not to the bird as if a cat looking at a mouse, using his tail to balance himself on the branch.

Grinning slightly at the pidgey's reaction, Blade nodded before reaching for an empty pokeball. Once he had it at hand, he tapped it lightly onto the bird's body to capture it. Once the pidgey was inside, he glanced over towards his Charmander.
"Don't worry Tiamat, we'll get some action soon too."
Her eyes seemed to lit up at the thought of this before nodding. While her trainer dealt with the pidgey, she had been watching some of the other pokemon deal with these wild ones. Seeing them fight was making her want to join the fray.
