http://www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg&m=getorpgThe working ones are here. You’ll need the python language as well as its extension which is also provided at the same link. edit: o.o can't we use maptools now that i think about it? less hassle, less crashes, better mapping, topology(vision) tools.

Gotta agree with Chaos. I'm having a hard time getting OpenRPG to work. I'll give MapTools a try.

Well I guess that means we can do one of three things. Wait for others to join, Start with only three people or let you have multiple characters. Whichever one it is is up to you guys.
And as far as Maptools I am messing around with it right now but I fear we may not be using the mapping.

Riiiiiight I think I know what you're talking about now, think I had the same problems when I first started using OpenRPG too. heh, the one you need should be here http://wxpython.org/download.php#binaries
it's wxPython2.8-win32-devel or wxPython2.8-win64-devel depending on whether you got the 32 or 64 bit version of windows.
edit: Just in case I'll add the steps to find out what version of windows you have. start -> run -> enter msinfo32.exe In the window that pops up under system type . Vista: X32-based machine 32 bit, X64-based machine 64 bit. . XP: X86-based machine 32 bit, X64-based machine 64 bit.
