Iris grabbed her textbook from her locker silently but quickly. She noticed that someone had left their locker open, and she opened it to take a look inside. A wallet was there, and she took it, sliding it into her pocket. Once a thief, always a thief. Just seconds before the bell rang, she opened the door to her class, finding that there were no more available seats. She sighed, and sat in the back of the classroom where she hoped no one would see her.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. ((Is Iris in the same classroom as Karissa and Alaric?)) Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

((Yea, that's what I was trying to get at with the no more seats available thing. I guess it wasn't as obvious as I tried to make it.))

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. ((Sorry, I thought that was what you were getting at, but I was not sure))
Karissa smiled at the girl who took the seat on the other side of her. She did not appear to be in a great mood, but Karissa still had to wish her a good morning. She smiled at the girl, and said, "Good morning!"
Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

When the girl next to him spoke to him he glanced up from his book for less than a second, memorizing her facial features, he said hello so softy that there was no sound, then turned back to his book.

Hell is truth...
Nausicaa started down the hallways towards her classroom. She was late, but who gave a s***, anyway? The heavy eyeliner and generally dark punk clothes let the teachers around her know she was in personality one. So did the randomly dyed hair(black, with neon purple stripes held in a starburst ponytail), along with the way she slouched along the hall, and the large assortment of necklaces, rings, and bracelets.
Well, if there had been any teachers in the hall. Nausicaa had been skipping, and was coming in very late. Thus, no hall monitors to stop fights between two angry personalities and such and so. She sighed, as if being here was a waste of time, and practically ripped the door to her classroom open. She entered, and slammed the door shut with equal force. Then she waltzed in as if nothing was wrong and slumped into a chair near some mouse-kid reading a book. It was the only open seat left. Whatever.
The teacher stared at Nausicaa, but she didn't feel like providing an explanation unless it was forced out of her. Thus, she only opened her mouth when the teacher inquired, "Nausicaa? Any particular reason you are late?"
"I was skipping." Nausicaa shrugged casually, as the teacher nodded to show that she approved of the honesty, and then continued to teach.
((Note: Nausicaa's name is said with the Japanese pronunciation. Therefore, her name is said nAu-shI-kA. Woo, random use of the caps lock.
Note two: Yeah, I'm gonna number these notes.
Note three:Sorry for not posting sooner. I would've, but there was a big report, and then I had to spend the night at a friends house, and...yeah. I basically just got home. ^^))
...seen too late.

When the door slammed as Nausicaa came in, Alaric glanced up, watched her as she sat beside him, then spoke softly to her, "I don't think I could be as conspicuous as you are..." He turned back to his book.

((sorry for taking forever to post back... Mom's been insisting that she get a cat, and I 'had' to help her go choose one...))
Iris said hello back to he two who she sat in between. She watched as a punk-goth girl walk in. She noticed her sit a seat that she hadn't noticed. Iris ignored her, considering that she seemed to be in a bad mood. Iris flipped open her notebook and a pencil. She copied the notes as the teacher wrote them on the chalkboard. Why the teacher used a chalkboard and not a whiteboard, Iris had never been able to figure out.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa giggled when the boy with the book commented to the punk girl. She could not help it. Then she happily and quickly copied the notes off of the board. Then she turned to the boy with the book, and asked, "What book are you reading?" in a quiet voice hoping to not disrupt the class. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

Hell is truth...
Nausicaa turned to face the mousy boy. She smirked slightly, giving him that look that made people think she was moving into their personal space, even at five feet away. I'm sure you've all been given looks like this. "Thanks. It's my talent." Then she turned back and half listened to the teacher, half tried to decide if he would respond or not.

Alaric spoke to Naisicaa while pulling the dust cover away from the book to show Karissa the title of the book, In The Forests Of The Night, all while still reading. "We all have our talents... I guess mine would be going unnoticed." He was then asked a question by the teacher, and he answered correctly, speaking barely loud enough for his voice to carry to the front of the room.

Kai was probably having a panic attack. Cold sweating, heavy breathing, chest pain, tingling hands, sense of impending doom... There was no other explanation for it. He'd slammed his locker closed real quick and ran to the bathroom without looking behind him, and when he came back he realized that no, it didn't close, that his backpack strap was hanging out the side and stopped it, causing the locker door to spring back open, and subsequently led to his wallet being taken. He'd checked back in the bathroom stall, retraced his steps from his car ride, but nope. It was gone. Wasn't this just a beautiful start to a day? His wallet had his driver's permit, his school ID, his Border's card... 'Yes, but can't you get another permit, a new ID, and another Border's card?' he asked himself. 'Yeah, I guess I can. It's not like I had more than five bucks in cash in my wallet. Not a big loss. But still.' "Ugh," he spoke aloud. So, with a sigh, he started his school day extremely late.
Only, Kai wasn't sure where his class was. He'd transferred to another History class after his first one had turned out to be AP, and well, he just wasn't that smart. He looked on his wrist, which had the room number written in red sharpie there, and started in the direction he hoped it was in. Upon arriving, he swallowed and opened the door with a smile — which abruptly melted off his face when he noticed that the class was full. Crap. Was he in the wrong place? He reached a hand back to nervously twirl a lock of ginger hair. "Ahh," he stuttered, "is this History A?" he asked unsurely.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa smiled at the title of the book, "Is it a good book? I tend to enjoy reading, sometimes. Although I almost never get to finish the books, because I go to sleep. It takes way too long to read. But I do like to!" Karissa said in a rush. Most of her sentences were rushed. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

He replaced the cover, "it's a good book, the author was 15 when she wrote it..." He Removed the dust cover completely, looking at the picture of a girl with tiger stripe hair "this is one from the first printing." his voice so low the wind speaking would be louder.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. Karissa had a shocked look on her face, "Wow only fifteen? That is two years younger than I am! That is insane. Do you write? Have you ever had anything published? Are you losing your voice or are you just quiet? Was it hard to get a copy from the first printing?" Again Karissa's words all ran together, and they came out fast. As something new popped into her mind, she said it. Since you've been gone, it's not the same..
