Yoshitaka Amano definitively deserves mention. What he can do with a brush astounds me.


of course~! I mean, lots of my friends only know him as the Final Fantasy artist but really he does moer and his artwork is beautiful. I love how much colour he blends togetehr to make something. And Im styping too fast in a panik to know if Im typoing correctly~!!!! sweatdrop

A lot of the art he did for Vampire Hunter D shows off his true prowess compared to his Final Fantasy work.


VHD was probably his better work. in Final Fantasy he seemed to be more loose with his art and it almost looked more like 'Work in progress" rather than fully done and extreme details like VHD that I've seen...
