"I don't know . . . she looks pretty powerful. I mean, if Maguire can't stop her," Glinda looked out at the storm. She wanted some of this, too. Nessa didn't have to answer to anyone now.
"Where do you think she is?"
Nessa let the storm continue itself as she leafed through the pages of the book. She found several very interesting spells, but as she saw her siblings head back towards the castle, she decided to relocate. As she closed the book she saw an inscription on the front page. "Whosoever uses this book for ill shall be protected by it and bound to it forevermore."

Glinda laughed. "Yeah, get Azkadellia the defective witch down here to stop Nessa. That'll work for sure!" she laughed again.
Nessa frowned at the pages. "Well, booky you aren't going to have my heart. Because I'm going to lock it up. Hah. Can't have me forever if you can't have me heart." Nessa let the words come to her and hoped that the spell was actually working. A locket appeared around her neck and a winged key materialized in front of her. Nessa saw it for just a second before the key flew out the window. The book, as if it knew it had been thwarted, started flipping its pages wildly. "Oh, stop it. What's done is done." The book closed with a bang. Nessa looked out the windows sadly. "What's done it done."

Maguire backed away slowly. His money was on Nim, and he sure didn't want to get in the way.

"GREENIFY!" Glinda screeched.
Maguire cocked his head to the side as Nim turned a bright neon shade of green. He wondered what that was supposed to accomplish.

Glinda pushed back hard and ran for it. She was going to get back at Nim, that was sure. And she was going to make sure Maguire couldn't do anything about it.
